Some are referring to some of NAF crashes and sharing old photos of victory which isn't the argument here...the argument is about NAF mistakingly attacking civilians and the only two cases are in April and September 2021..all the several newspaper there are reporting on NAF first denying it ,later coming to admit...and investigation towards the accidental attack on army folks in april
But the point is there were only 2 cases in 2021...add that to the fishermen bombing in lake Chad and the latest today as well as the attack on IDP and boat in PH..

Can u highlight any other "mistaken" attack aside the six cases which I mentioned above in over 10 years of fighting war on terror

U would have realized that if u take ur time to open each Website and see how several of them are just reporting on a single incident..

Don't lie to ur self na....NAF has recorded great successes...the problem is DAT when they post news about it...some folks (I hope ur not among) will come and request for pictures or they won't believe it...
So far the only significant mistake NAF has recorded in over 10 years of bombing terrorist and bandits in the north is the bombing of IDP refugees ,the killing of fishermen and this one...common ...in 10 years of fighting a war... Just 3 mistakes.. NAF has an extremely low casualty cases..

Besides ... even with electro optical/infrared sensors... NAF personnels will still find it difficult in differentiating kids from terrorist... Remember the planes or drones have to be thousands of feet in the air to avoid detection ...
But let appreciate the fact that even though the Intel was bad...NAF responded to it quickly.. If they turned out to be actual terrorist.... I can bet my left balls that u won't believe it or probably just keep scrolling.

This is certainly not a mistake.. The pilots intentionally pulled the trigger as commanded..
The problem is the intelligence.. And the fact that they can't differentiate between a child and an actual terrorist from the air.. And I suspect those kids were in a terrorist controlled area... So it makes sense for NAF to take dem as actual terrorist..

I'm not denying the fact that air force could go off target especially in a densely populated environment where the criminal they're targeting lives. Civilian casualties would definitely be recorded. These guys were just given the jets to fight and such a number of casualties were recorded. That's not good at all. Before they cause more harm to innocent lives or bomb a whole town, they need to suspend the exercise and go for an intensive training.

It not about their training.... No amount of training can make a pilot flying thousands of feet in the air to be able to differentiate between a terrorist and a child on the ground... It not possible..

If it were to be a crash then u can say they need some better trainings... In this particular case ...I would say they need to do better in gathering intelligence.. Which isn't the job of fighter pilots..pilots are just trained to bomb and my target and they delivered this one well..besides.. Miscalculation and misinformation do occur...it completely normal..

also ...if any suspected criminal is caught all of a sudden... No security agent need a warrant to arrest he /she at that moment...it only when an investigation has been conducted and found an individual a suspect of a crime then a security agent might need a warrant to begin searching...
But in a situation of a checkpoint..and Customs discovered a vehicle transporting illegal drugs or maybe a vehicle with fraudster (yahoo boys)...custom official do not need a warrant to carry out an arrest ...they simply arrest all those involved and transfer the case to NDLEA or EFCC for proper investigation and prosecution
