In my own opinion: I suggest jamb should fall​ back to the previous state. I.e post UTME to cancel the cheapest exam(WAEC) people are scoring A's Parallel. I believe only private schools students have better WAEC results.

I live in ijesha and I may not know what really went down on that faithful day but these boys do terrorise the area with all manner of weapons day and night, they snatch phones, fight and kill each other. Their is no day we dont run for one group or the other. Maybe the policemen got a tip of what was about to go down and again the type of people attending the party must have made them suspicious.
