You are a great fiction writer. |
FastShipping:This was in 2011. We also remember his famous ''muslims should vote only muslims'' quote. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePJSywwVWZM |
Demburrows:Ihedioha is still PDP's candidate, but the real battle is between Rochas and APGA's Iheanacho. It is gonna be tough but I see Iheanacho winning. The man is so loved. |
MuguliciousMUGU:Lol. Who needs a ''boy boy'' VP? |
Yoruba people looking for division and problems where there is none. Keep repeating the words of a well known deranged man as evidence of ''battle''. |
Obiagelli:Which one is your own source, CNN or one village blog? |
LFJ:Lateef Jimoh, why not take up the challenge and leave Igbos out of your nonsense? Whenever you guys are boxed into a tight corner, you start bashing Igbos rather than address the issue. |
Usbeel:Usmannabeel Shehu, mind your words please. |
Rawani:Wikipedia is a million times more credible than your Buhari Dawodu blog. Wikipedia told us the exact model of planes that were ordered, when they were ordered and when they were delivered. Did you propaganda blogs offer any such information? |
mikolo80:Gbenga, What did your crowd agitate for and what did you give them? Seems you were a first hand witness of the violence, we would like to hear from you. |
Rawani:And your Dawodu Buhari loyalist blog is supposed to be more credible than Wikipedia? How is that one line trash written there more believable than the detailed information on the wikipedia link I provided? Please. |
Rawani:You and your group typed something on a paper and you uploaded it here. Provide a credible link stating when the planes were ordered and paid for. Meanwhile manage this one. Nigeria Airways became Airbus' 40th customer in 1981, when it placed an order for four Airbus A310-200s ; these aircraft were incorporated into the fleet in late 1984 and early 1985. Also in 1981, four new Boeing 737-200s were ordered to replace leased aircraft of the same type in a deal worth US$65,000,000 ($ 168,614,568 in 2014); they were delivered in February 1983. In 1982, a Boeing 747 was leased from Scanair; the aircraft was deployed on services to the United Kingdom, permitting the DC-10s to be used on new routes to Frankfurt, Paris, and Zurich. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigeria_Airways Buhari and his crew love to reap where they didn't sow. |
Rawani:The onus is on you to prove that Buhari actually ordered and paid for those planes. I am telling you categorically that they were ordered and paid for in 1981 while Buhari was still lusting for power and plotting a coup. |
Assuming the dealers were buying at N150 per litre before and the government was paying them N53 per litre to subsidize the price to N97, then crude oil price dropped and the dealers now purchase at N107 per litre, the government will now be paying them N10 per liter to keep the price at N97. So in essence, the amount spent on subsidy reduced, while the price remains the same. The only way the price will fall in Nigeria is if the cost price falls below N97, then there will be no need for subsidy any more. |
asha80:It would last. I meant Shabby in the sense that there is no marking, no drainage is some parts, no side walks, but it is convenient for anyone to drive through. There is nothing special about the terrain though, the road was never really worked on until early this year. |
Rawani:You guys sell Buhari using lies and nothing but lies. Those planes were ordered and paid for in 1981, they arrived in 1985 when Buhari happened to be in power. It had nothing to do with him. You think brand new planes are what you can just walk into a showroom and purchase? |
You idîots should stop using the word ''roasted'' to describe incidents like this. Insensitive motherfûckers. |
asha80:It is smooth now. It was shabbily reconstructed by Rochas but now much better than before and no longer a threat to one's car. No complaints really, unless you are a perfectionist. |
egift:Emmanuel Ezeali, there hasn't been a single drop of rain for over a month now, yet you posted pictures of a water-logged road as recent. May God punish your lying soul. |
Slonge2:Samuel, how many did you see when you were in Nekede? You schooled in the east and was well taken care of, yet you spend your time talking trash about Igbos. Be careful please. |
Getting the Nigeria airways back to work will be a good income earner at this point in time with falling oil prices in mind. But how many government owned enterprises are run efficiently? Obasanjo tried public-private partnership with virgin Nigeria, I don't know what happened to it. |
OreMI22:The single lane Ihiagwa - Nekede road is still good enough as a by-pass. I passed through it just last week. The road is in an ok condition. Only that many people still think it is as bad as before so they don't other taking the risk. |
Jesusloveyou:It is done everywhere. People do it to help their preferred candidates and possibly acquire favour from them if the succeed in getting to power. Some even go beyond making posters to donating huge sums of money, campaign vehicles etc without being party members. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1837342_adedayo_____dddo511781edit_jpeg_jpeg6f2cba83411de3282fd5838d27c8a272 |
The writer is a Yoruba man. His opinion isn't that of America |
Later they will say PDP destroyed Nigeria for 16 years. Hypocrites. |
NAIRALAND will cease to exist if Buhari becomes President. Facebook and Twitter will be severly censored. The man hates criticism but wants to ride on the back of criticism of the Present government to power. |
Kenai:Wise man |
Emteebee:Impeccable was the target word, but Buhari had no idea what it means so he voiced out the word he knew. |
omolami:Those orders have been given already, it is shoot at sight. That is why the evil people are lamenting against the deployment of soldiers, but no one will listen to them. |
Incase anyone thinks it was a random act of violence that led to the death of those corp member, it wasn't. It was well ochestrated. They were only following the instructions of their master. Look at the pictures, before and after. Before www.nairaland.com/attachments/1977535_untitled_jpegf00b416e41190686e1165a3b44a1bf51 After www.nairaland.com/attachments/1976976_nysc5_jpeg37b10816ba8e1511e3462e22e2a2e8f9 www.nairaland.com/attachments/1976977_nysc6_jpeg6858dd2b5b4e672ea6ca9b3cdce7bfd9 Here is a video of Buhari calling on his supporters to do exactly what they ended up doing. So sad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePJSywwVWZM |
This is why I seriously suspect those campaigning against the deployment of soldiers during elections. The guy had confidence in the police, but they failed him. The 2015 elections must be militarised or whatever they call it! |
