@ ELGASTON or whatever they call you,
the way you've been sounding and replying on this thread, it seems like you must be very bitter about something that happened to you lol, maybe you be one of those brodas wee dey flash 20 times con dey hustle your uncle's friend's sister's husband for money chap chap,
u really do sound like them becos your are obviously no being considerate in your comments. In the UK, PEOPLE DEY HUSTLE TOO. Things are not a bed of roses. It is HARD to send money consistently to your 20+ cousins and neices and relatives and friends that are constantly on your back.
TRY UNDERSTAND MY BROTHER.
It doesnt pay to be a PARASITE

@JACKAL

Well said!!!

but then if like u said some folks live on 80-120 dollars a week, why don't they deport themselves back home? undecided

why waste away in another man's land when even the folks asking for kisi from u are doing beta?

why live a fake life? shocked

if front no gree u, den u suppose fit trace your steps back home, what sayest thou?  huh  grin

@Omogenaija

the topic is not dumb; its a very popular notion that Naijas in UK are stingy!!!

only a few us based here actually know whats up, so do not necessarily get sucked into that line of reasoning or get lulled into hasty generalization cool
Kituan or whatever, people like you wee dey tire bobos. See the dross/rubbish that is coming out of your mouth, generalizing the whole thing because of ONE stupid example.
Pls jare, if they give you visa go UK or US, you no go fly chap chap come here?
Men if u ever experience life over here you will understand what pple here are talkin about, rather than opening your mouth and saying whatever rummage comes out.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Costa Rica: Would You Be Awake? by comechop(m): 8:04am On Jul 04, 2007
Next match is today, not sure of the time but its like an hour after the last one or so. Make una support our boys ooo
And does anyone have any updates on our first choice keeper? I know he was injured in the game, bleeding and such.
Side Not: Anyone know where i can listen to or get that yahoooze song/video?
TravelRe: Nigerians In The UK Are So Stingy by comechop(m): 7:48am On Jul 04, 2007
Haha this group is hilarious!!! I like what someone said, thank God voicemail dey chop their money lol
I'm in the US, but i must say we are still prey to the 'attacks' lol. One thing our brodas and sistas back home must take into consideration is TIME, which we dont have here, and resources. MONEY goes FAST here.
The mindset many Nigerians still have is that once u come to Yank or UK, your own don better, your own don CONFIRM.
Yea rite.
Pple dey HUSTLE big time here man, u gotta hustle to make it thru to pay bills and all that stuff.
So ya make una try understand small for us abeg. Its not easy and we are trying.
Another point to note: Many pple dont consider that its easier just to call one broda wee don travel go UK, than it is for someone here to call lik 20+ friends back home vying for his time and resources. its not easy.

PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Declares His Assets by comechop(m): 3:07am On Jun 30, 2007
Not to join the club, but i must comment McKren on his attitude in this forum.
Oga pls consider going into politics, for we need better people like abeg.
And that Ikwerre tout warfarian should pls keep his ridiculous and radical views to himself. Why war in the midst of peace? Give peace a chance my brother.
But let us not for get our brother McKren's viewpoint, yes it is a commendable act that he came clean, but we should not be blinded by the act.
Please re-read his input:

"But then people must realise that the act of asset declaration should not be used as a means of political spin nor should the asset declaration form be percieved as certificate of good character. It should rather be a reference or benchmark for which we will in future access our leaders. So people should be more concerned scrutinizing the details rather than eulogising the act."

Wow this is really cool. I like hearing the smart and intellectual arguments in the house. Keep it up my engineers. Its topics and posts like these that make nairaland worth visiting once a while.
But I have a question; do these replies apply to my ferrari, since it already has a sweet streamlined shape, i wld think that air resistance due to drag would be less on it. What do u guys think?

CultureRe: Why Must Nigerians Abroad Marry Nigerians? by comechop(m): 6:26am On Jun 12, 2007
At poser:
Oga, just pray and do what God tell ya. True parents are almsot always right, and most times have the best for you in mind, but when it comes to marriage, you need LOVE and COMPATIBILITY. As u dont dey america since, to find straight up naija girl who doesnt want just ur cash go hard, and as u noted, naija chicks for here are hard and are somehow somehow i think,
so my broda, tink long term, before u marry, make sure that she's willing to work everything out with ya, incase u need to move back home and stuff, just make sure na correct oyigbo chick. Believe me sha o, some oyigbo chicks CORRECT!!
but ya, u n o fit find anyone for here on nairaland eh lol, i believe hotangel and others are available lol
all the best my man.
FamilyRe: What Is The Value Of A Woman Who Can't Cook? by comechop(m): 6:17am On Jun 12, 2007
Children children CHILDREN!!! please stop the bickering!!! Please!! You have deviated waaaaaaaaaaay too much off the topic, so It is MY responsibility to bring it back lol
sriously tho', to our ladies, look at it this way,
What would be the value of having a man, who is romantic, sweet, and all that good stuff PLUS HE CAN COOKhuh
That is, just like an extra, like adding jara. You cant go wrong with that.
Same it is with women, a woman that can cook def. adds MORE value to the whole package.
Plus, c'mon ladies, whats wrong with cooking? jeez, what has this world become?
PoliticsRe: David Mark As New Senate President: A Joke? by comechop(m): 5:03pm On Jun 09, 2007
All I can say is that may God help us in this country. The man has taken power, so there is no point hating, all we can do is pray that he will perform well. Yes, he has a horrible track record, but God can intervene and change things.
God will help us in this country. Things go better,

50kobo:
its good that we all airing our views here,
but why don't we write a letter/petition and send it to the person / ministry that implemented this policy? we can also send a copy to MAN, i tired of talking about d problems in this country. we need to start acting,

what do you all think?
Abeg finally someone has said something worthwhile!! SEUN, pls look into this. 50kobo what are you recommendations?? Its about time we stopped talking about the state of the nation and started acting. EVERYONE knows that this is ridiculous, let the REAL people then come forward and do something about it!!
I mean, seriously, if you REALLY care about the environment, you would start SMALL. The BIG issue now is NOT CO emissions and what not, it is the BASIC SANITATION STATE of our cities. Start by cleaning out the gutters and gettin rid of mosquitoes, before we start talkin about global warming.
RomanceRe: I Cheated On My Girlfriend: Now She Doesn't Respect Me by comechop(m): 3:27am On May 30, 2007
My PIKIN, hear the wisdom from the ages. IF you want her love back,  you have to WIN it. START ALL OVER AGAIN. Let it be like the times at the onset,  WOOO HER AGAIN. FLOWERS, CHOCOLATE, CANDY, OR MAMA PUT as per naija chic,  anything she wants just do it for her,  and spoil her. Of course she has lost faith and trust in you,  and the only way to get it back is it woo her again,  and make yourself dependable. Go the extra mile. If this girl is really worth is as you say she is, then MY PIKIN, no trouble is too much for her. I hope you have learnt your lesson.
Women are much valuable than the way many men/boyfriends treat them these days. I wish girls/women would stop taking constant trash from boyfriends, and become QUEENS

hmm, so ya i had my FIRST KISS after 20+ yrs of my life a couple days ago, it was , i dont know, just amazing. Kissing is definitely good stuffs!!
Its kinda sad for Nigerians because it seems like our men and ladies do not appreciate it, it is just an amazing and deeply intimate act,
So not to blow my horn, but the beautiful american girl that i kissed was suprised that the kiss was my first one wink what can i say, i guess i did preettty good lol,
But ya, kissing is definitely a big deal, esp. to the woman. If you are good at it, na enjoyment your wife go enjoy kpata kpata.
