In all my years of marriage, I have learned that women are Garbage in, Garbage out or Love in, love out.

Anytime i ignore my wife a little, or get too busy with work, we often have quarrels that we cant even identify the source.

When I'm all over her, touching here and there, buying gifts, doing mushi mushi and hanging out in the kitchen, life becomes bliss and no arguments.

It is a normal human nature to be receptive towards actions or people that make you feel good.

Personally, If my wife had a restaurant, I would wash plates for her to cut down operational costs.

When my wife was baking back in nigeria, I used to help fry pof pof and a bunch of other stuff. It wasn't everyday though.

In my wife's case, there's a way she usually asked that made me want to do more. Starts with a very calm voice, draws close and asks. She often winks and promises me a treat at night or later on... This gets me every time.

In this case, a lot of things may have gone wrong.

Where I work, we once had a one-man protest, and it made rounds.

Why are many Nigerians seemingly averse to the option of adopting kids? Even when they've been waiting years to have kids of their own biologically?

Personally, I seem to be overcome with the idea of adoption. I'd love to have just one child biologically, then adopt one or two others.

But why is it a big deal in Nigeria?

I know the process is filled with lots of protocol. But is that such a deterrent?

Is it expensive, financially?

Is it really hard to love a child that's not your flesh and blood?

On the contrary, it is very popular, it is just not documented through the ministry and legal framework.

There are lots of people who have adopted other people's kids in nigeria, and raise them like their own. Unlike the whites who make sure they complete the paperwork, nigerians sometimes dont bother.
