PoliticsRe: ‘we’ll Declare Biafra’s Independence On May 30-BZF by comos: 10:07am On May 25, 2018
Uranus1:
The Biafra Zionists Federation ( BZF ) has said the Federal Government was trying to intimidate its members from carrying out their plans to declare Biafra Republic on May 30 by deploying fighter jets in the zone .
It declared that no amount of fighter jets deployed against the zone would stop the group from announcing Biafra and occupying the Enugu State Government House , which it said , was the designated headquarters of Biafra on May 30 .
The Guardian learnt that air surveillance by the joint patrol of Army and Police had increased in the zone since Monday ; fuelling fears of possible clashes in the event of security breaches .
BZF leader , Mazi Benjamin Onwuka , told journalists in Enugu that the group was prepared to face any kind of security apparatuses that may be deployed to frustrate the exercise .
He called on Biafrans to assemble at the Enugu Government House on May 30 , asking Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to steer clear of controversy “by vacating office before that date .”
He said already the , “fighter jets deployed for that purpose are hovering everywhere in Enugu State and southeast . The agenda is simple , to intimidate and instill fear in us and in our members .
“But, we want to make it clear that we cannot be intimidated ; that era
is gone . Should anything happen to any of our members on that day all those involved will pay dearly for it.
“Nigeria and President Muhammadu Buhari are already in panic. You can see them flying fighter jets all over . This is intimidation . They have failed ,” he said .
Onwuka equally said his group expects “all Biafrans to observe a public holiday on May 30 , adding: “Nigeria will not escape independence of Biafra on May
30 th, if they arrest us , they have dug their hole . If they don’t arrest us , the announcement will be made .
Meanwhile, no fewer than 32 members of the Ralph Uwazuruike - led Biafra Independent Movement ( BIM) have been remanded in prison for illegal procession and possession of ornaments belonging to the group .
The affected members , who include 30 males and two females, were arrested at various locations in Enugu on Tuesday during a procession to mark the Biafra Day celebration .
The Police arraigned them before an Enugu Magistrate Court presided over by S . Okoro for breaching section 41 of the criminal code , laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria .
The Police said in Enugu yesterday that it would not tolerate any breach to peace and security.
State Commissioner of Police , Danmallam Mohammed , therefore , warned pro- Biafra agitators planning showdown on May 30 to beware , stressing that the command would not compromise the security of the state.

What are you saying na? It wasn't as if the igbos had a choice when they were cornered and marked for total extinction after the 1966 coup. I don't know why some of you intentionally distort history whenever the igbos are concerned. Igbos were killed in their numbers in 1947 or so and 1956 or so,too, for no provocation from them. In fact, one of those mass killings of mostly the igbos in the north was as a result of a meeting held in Lagos State in the built up to independence, when the northern elites felt insulted by their south-west counterparts. I understand those occurrences might have triggered the igbo populace to celebrate the 1966 coup, even though the plotters may have not done it in their regard. (We all know that the attendant lack of national unity due to the constant striving between the political parties, esp. northern NPC and AG parties, and the resultant breakdown of law and order, could have prompted the coup). So, in fact, the present hate for the igbos should stop now if we must agree that Delta State and indeed the south south is not part of Biafra, since the state of the leader of the coup has been zoned into south south--now Delta State. Every honest historian must make amend that notion of Igbo coup to reflect present reality. It should now be known as a south south coup; but well,if you still want to be bias,u can always point to the number of the coup plotters who answered Igbotic names. But again, subsequent coup were not given an ethnic coloration. It is your bias if you are one of them. To buttress my point,it has been said that the rampaging herdsmen are a fragment of the Bororo people of the fulanis, and therefore argued that they are not a representation of every law abiding fulani people; and we have all agreed on the rationale of the submission. But,we every now and then we fail to agree same with the coup of 1966.
Talking about the present agitations for Biafra, you will agree with me that those things(injustices) that caused the Civil War are very much alive, therefore you don't expect them to keep quiet. If the Yorubas could agitate for separation even at that early stage of independence, and likewise the Niger-Deltans,for purely resources control--how much more reasons do the igbos need to agitate when their lives are constantly threatened, their rights are suppressed, and all that shit? #ps. I am not Igbo.

PoliticsRe: Italian Cabal Named Jonathan “fortunato” In $1.1 Million Malabu Racket by comos: 6:27pm On May 23, 2018
HighQue007:
A cable available to Southwark Crown Court, UK has revealed how a former Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan, was code-named “Fortunato” by Italian accomplices in the $1.1 million Malabu deal.
Italian authorities investigating the mega deal had provided evidence to the court indicating the involvement of the former president.
The court, presided by Justice Edis, said based on the evidence presented before it, “Fortunato”, meaning “the lucky one” in Italian, was implicated in the deal.
“The suggestion from the wiretaps is that “Fortunato” was implicated and I am told that this was a reference in code (not subtle) to the former President of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan,” the judge said.
By this revelation, “Fortunato”, is added to the long list of names Nigerians call the former president.
The court however refused to release the remaining balance of $85 million (N17 billion) to Malabu for the sell of Africa’s richest oil bloc, OPL 245 to oil giants Shell and ENi.

PoliticsRe: CORRUPTION IS THE NEMESIS AND THE KARMA OF THE PDP by comos: 6:10pm On May 23, 2018
Ehisbaba78:
By Chris Azebamwan

My attention has been drawn to a recent Press Release by Chris Nehikhare. As is to be expected, he moaned and wailed about the declining fortunes of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). But more particularly, he tried to turn truth on its head when he tried albeit unsuccessfully, to whitewash the source of the N700 million for which five of his corruption-laden party members have been arraigned in court by the EFCC. Nehikhare also tried, again unsuccessfully, to connect our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) with the predicament faced by his leaders in the PDP. One would reasonably expect that campaign funds that were raised through donors would be lodged in a bank account and any transfers from there, would be channeled through legitimate financial routes. It is not normal to hold and convey them in Ghana-must-go bags as was done in this case. This scandalous N700m would have been a debit to the PDP national headquarters bank account and a corresponding credit to the Edo State PDP bank account. We challenge the PDP to publish its list of donors at the fund-raising.

Do we need to remind Nehikhare that a former Deputy Governor, Mr. Lucky Imasuen, who is now a registered card-carrying member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was arraigned alongside the accused persons? One wonders where Nehikhare got his ‘facts’ from. Since he claims that the action by the EFCC is “politically motivated”, he should do well to tell the public the party Mr. Lucky Imasuen now belongs to. Why didn't the anti-graft agency remove his name from the list of accused persons since he claims that the agency is only fighting opposition and not corruption? The case of Lucky Imasuen proves that the action of the EFCC was neither lopsided nor discriminatory. Our declared war on corruption is on course and we will not be distracted. All those who conspired to loot our joint commonwealth must be held accountable and brought to book. There will be no sacred cows.

For the benefit of the reading public, the five accused persons are facing an eight-count charge of conspiracy with themselves to commit money laundering to the tune of N700 million, an offense contrary to section 18(a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 as amended; which is punishable under section 15(3) of the same Act.

The EFCC accused them of taking possession and control of the sum of N700 million without any contract award which they ought to know the money forms part of an unlawful act and from which amount, they made several cash disbursements to named individuals

These weighty charges against the accused persons are the reasons why they are being arraigned for prosecution and trial. The APC has nothing to do with the case. Nehikhare would be best advised to stop running around and tell his leaders Chief Tony Anenih, Chief Dan Orbih and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who have made themselves unavailable (according to reports), to submit themselves to the EFCC. Their interests and the course of justice would be best served that way. Only the guilty are afraid. They should gladly take their day in court. It is their right.

It is the generally held belief that the practice of the PDP is to squander money. For years, public money ended up in their private pockets. On the contrary, for us in the APC, we believe in the power of the people and the sanctity of votes. That is why we work for the people because when the people vote you in, you are answerable to them. We put the people’s money to work for the people. Our ideology is epitomized in the "One Man, One Vote" mantra of the immediate past administration of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, and the “no cash for votes” maxim of the wake and see Governor Godwin Obaseki. These values are obviously alien to those at the other side of the fence, the PDP. It is difficult for them to believe that it is no longer business as usual because there is a new sheriff in town.

Azebamwan is the State Publicity Secretary, All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State.

This is similar to the business explained above. Like I said earlier, remove shyness and pride if truly you want to make it financially big in life. Most shy and proud people end up broke and needy, if you doubt me, check around you...all those guys and ladies that don't send anybody and do crazy things to survive always end up popular, influential and of course rich, while the shy ones beg to feed

This is exactly what Facebook, Twitter, etc are doing to make money....they established a platform where people gather to socialize and catch fun...and they monetized their platform by using it to market businesses and companies....hence, driving sales for their products and services.

Now, you don't have a popular website or social media platform like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc...but you have skill....you have time....and you know people too.

*27.  Transport Business Management:*

Transportation business is a very lucrative business in Nigeria if not for bad drivers!

Many people have passive capital they would have loved to invest in transport business, but with the stories of how drivers (bus, taxi, keke, okada) swindle owners who spent their hard earned money to acquire the car, bus, keke, or bike they are driving is enough to discourage people from investing in this business.

*28. Dust Bin dispose work*
