Cmanforall: He wants to run away, and yet people (NLC) will keep painting pictures that he's a saint. Finally, his hands may not be as clean as Nigerians think.
Next could be NLC threatening strike action or protest.
If anyone is corrupt, let Nigerians not protest for that person. There could be many corrupt top office holders, but good to start from somewhere No one is above the law. Because Ajaero is in NLC, does that mean he can't have committed an offence? Afterall, what has NLC done for me and you? |

Penguin2: It’s not uncommon to hear non-supporters ask “what would Obi have done differently?” “every presidential candidate promised to remove subsidy.”
But the main question has always been how.
Below is a documented steps of how Obi intended to go about subsidy removal which wouldn’t have thrown the country into the kind of chaos and crisis we are into right now.
Now, can you compare this to the disaster we currently have? How is this so different from what is being done now? Crude oil is also priced in naira for dangote. |

Gas Pipeline Debuts In Eko Atlantic City https://www.nairaland.com/8178782/gas-pipeline-debuts-eko-atlantic Is this the same or a different thing. One thread mentions Axella. The other one mentions NIPCO! Though NGML is present in both. Nigerian news is often the most disconnected news in the world. One never seems to know the full story of how 2 related news items connect. Case in point: NNPC says with petrol production at Dangote refinery, petrol queues will start disappearing by weekend. Meanwhile Dangote refinery says as at yesterday 5th Sept, NNPC has not lifted a single litre of petrol from its refinery!!! |
Business › Re: Dangote Refinery Will Crash Dollars by COMPAQ(m): 9:06pm On Sep 03, 2024 |
Standing5: If they exports refined crude, fine. That's because inflow of dollar/forex will increase supply and relax the demand from Dangote himself. Two forces moving in two directions to create a double sided Naira strengthening effect. Let's hope so! Nigeria is a case of the more you look the less you see!! |

EreluRoz: What positive effect will all these dangote wareva will have on the masses? The masses just want pump price to go down There is no magic in product pricing. Products are sold at a price that covers cost and guarantees a decent margin. Simple! All these hopes for cheap petrol is just wishful thinking. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Naira-For-Crude Policy Will Slash FOREX Demand By 40% — Dangote by COMPAQ(m): 4:04pm On Sep 03, 2024 |
sleek214: Bla bla bla. You don dey praise Tinubu because dem don give you wetin you want. Dem don also increase fuel pump price because of you.... So what would have been the alternative!? If he had never built the refinery, who loses? Or if he exports all his PMS and NNPC still has to import for local consumption, who loses. Dangote is operating in the same FX devaluation environment as the rest of Nigerians. If exchange rate were still $/600, NNPC would not be increasing the price to N855. And that has everything to do with FG and not Dangote. Funny enough, in a few months, if Dangote can reduce FX demand for PMS and Diesel and still EARN FX from exports, naira might actually appreciate a bit, making petrol from him even cheaper. So direct your anger appropriately to the FG and stop hating on Dangote for no reason. |

Debroslink: All the 5g network in Nigeria na pure scam. How can you call a network 5g, and still be struggling at 60mbps?
A real 5g network should average 1gbps. Starlink dropping 400mbps dey try. But I still feel that when they create their base in Lagos, Ogun and PH, the speed will improve and also fix the location based issues.
Better 38k @ 400mbps than 50k @ 60mbps by Airtel. 5G everywhere is a scam. Even in America people rarely see the speeds they were promised. Just that it's still far better than here. |

mrvitalis: Blessed with what exactly?
1.3 million barrels per day for 220 million people?.
Anything below ₦1550 per litre is subsidy regime Not necessarily. At least I've been to a few countries and diesel is always more expensive than petrol. In some cases up to 20% more. So if unsubsidized diesel is N1200, the with a 20% premium, unsubsidized petrol could be circa N1000. |

Faiththatworks: I'm always amazed anytime I read negative stories about Dangote Refinery. What I read online is totally different from the real situation on ground. I can saw with all boldness that the Refinery is pumping out millions of litres of Diesel and Aviation fuel everyday. Just last week Friday,I decided to take a trip from Ajah through epe to Ijebu-ode so I could link the Lagos-ibadan expressway, and what I saw was mind buggling. I saw a line of more than 400 trailers queueing from the second toll gate at Ijebu-ode. They were waiting for their turns to load these petroleum products,I was informed the Trailer park in the Refinery was filled with tankers and the trucks had to look for a place to park. I daresay people in Ajah don't know what's happening in the Dangote Refinery axis cos the tankers don't go through the Lekki-Epe expressway to pick up fuel. Only very ignorant people will believe all these negative propaganda against the Refinery, work is ramping up around that axis. My own concern is the opportunities that axis presents for discerning Investors. A piece of real estate on that corridor will be worth 3 to 4 times in the next few years. Visit my signature now for how to invest in real estate on that axis now. God bless Nigeria. So all this your long post is too facilitate sale of your real estate. Not sure f why I want to be living within 10km of a refinery and chemical plant. When cancer starts in old age, one will be looking for the cause. |

SmartPolician: This is a good development. This project must not fail so that other states in Nigeria can copy the model and replicate it in their states.
However, I personally think the properties in Eko Atlantic are overpriced in a third-world economy. Hence, companies aren't rushing to acquire lands and start developing their edifices. Those who cannot afford it hail the beautiful project while those who can afford it think it's overpriced. However we are told that the entire phase 1 Eko Atlantic land had been bought. But most people have had their construction delayed by the economic crisis of the past 8 years. And of course many other owners are land banking for future sales. |

It's quite straightforward, really, for those who can be bothered to read and do their own research without blindly following the crowd of misinformation.
Below, you'll find photos of her from when she was a youngster, as well as her record. And, might I add, she's had a few fight and come out on the losing end, too. The explanation of her condition is understood, but that doesn't make it fair though. Testosterone is the key hormone that makes men who they are. A 'woman' having elevated levels of this hormone means she will have levels of muscle mass and stamina not typically associated with other women. It is therefore not fair that she participates in women's sport. |

seunny4lif: Akure to Ore and Owena to Ifon via Akure, Owo road are the busiest roads in Ondo state An average of 10K cars per month for those roads. The roads are too narrow, which causes many accidents. Imagine perfect lanes from anywhere in Ondo state to the coastline area. Ondo state has nice beaches that can generate billions of dollars in investment for the state if only the governors had the sense to develop roads and trains. Akure to Okitipupa is less than 100KM which can be done in a 1:15 hr if running at even 100KM/per but right now it will take you over 3hrs First of all we have an over inflated opinion of how rich we are in this country. Even if our leaders were not corrupt, we are still not that rich. Secondly, everyone seems to think their areas deserves 3 lane roads. There has to be an economic benefit to spending money to dualise a road. Ore to Akure is a bit busy, but in my view not really busy enough to warrant a dualisation. It could get by on a well reconstructed single lane road in each direction. The issue is a poorly maintained road, not necessarily the fact that is it's single road. If it was a spotless single lane road, the accidents you mention may not be an issue. |

The problem with Nigeria is having food to eat as a family, but also having bad family members who wants to see others stay hungry because they can secretly steal the food to fill up their stomachs while pretending to be hungry with the rest of the family. Cabals can only stop progress if the government is not serious and has no political will. Why did cabals not stop GSM? If PH refinery is set up as a profit center within NNPC, with no interference in its operations by NNPC and government and payment of refinery staff comes solely from what they generate, they will sit up to keep their jobs. |
