Has anyone experienced this? My 7weeks old boy does not poo-poo everyday, sometimes once in 3days, and lately 5days...his fart can knock an elephant out... Lol. We initially started using gripe water to soften his stomach, and lately He had 'ella', this body rash that appears on newborn and we have been using 'agbo' and herbal soap to bathe him, the 'agbo woman' prescribed agbo jeddi for babies which we have been giving him but his poo-poo is still not regular.
He eats regularly and normally..the boy can suck and eat...Lol and he keeps gaining weight so I am kind of happy he is growing well, but the poo thing worries me. Is it normal or should we have something to worry about.

Haven't read through yet but I'm surprised! Personally I like pap so will give baby nonetheless but I actually believed it'll be top range in terms of nutrients to babies
Will investigate the availability of cowpeas in Lagos and see if it'll taste good when added to the blend

Then in preparation, wil i mix d 2 togeda b4 addin hot water? Or can u pls tel me how u make it b4 feedin ur lo?

I've never tried potatoes with pap o. Is it digestible? Potatoes on its own is fine, just boil very soft and then mash with butter. I used to add thr crayfish after cooking but I'm not sure it was the right way so maybe add and leave on fire for a bit.

pls in addin grinded crayfish, wil it require u boil d pap, or is d hot water enof?

If u add crayfish to the whole pap , it will make it watery, just add to the little u want to use.

Also has any 1 tried addin potatoes, wil i cook d potatoes b4 dryin or i jst peel and dry b4 grindin?

There are dried potatoes at the market or if u can buy fresh ones, wash and dry. I always add potatoes to my pap both wet and powdered pap. sweet potatoes o.

Please mamas in the house, my sister delivered 5days ago she is a ftm and she had episiotomy stitch and the nurse told her not to do sitz bath she is going through serious pains the she cant sit to feed her baby, please how is she going to heal fast, the pains does not even allow her to sleep at night.

Pls mamas come to my rescue,my second boy started having itchy rash on his eye lid,I googled and got suggestions of placing cold towel on it,but it did nothing. Just checked it this morning and noticed it has started spreading to other part of his face.
Pls wat do you guys think,not looking pleasant at all

Mamas that use shea butter/coconut oil/olive oil and the likes as cream for their LOs.. how do you achieve that nice smell a baby should have? Cos I don't think shea butter et al can give that 'babylike' smell...

Do you add anything to your shea butter to make it smell nice?

I add Lander oil to it, its a foreign oil. I use baby pears oil for his head/hair, so he always smell nice. Most important thing is for baby to be neat, no body odour.

1.pls I need ur response concerning this issue my baby is 2months now and has boils on her head only, behind her ears which keep coming bk after it dries up, she is always scratching her hair which is very much, pls what can I do abt it

pls mamas,av asked before and am asking again pls those that have toddlers what cream do you use for them?after my nightmare with Johnson I bought sebamed baby lotion and it seems its fake and am not ready to go and buy another one for 3,000,they are breaking out seriously on the face,pls tell me what u use for your toddlers abi once they are toddlers we should just rub anything on them?

Eolowu1, can you find Dove Pure and sensitive soap? Johnson's can be harsh on babies' skins
Contem2011 is Tetmosol an antibacterial soap? If it is, check back a few pages to what we wrote on antibacterial soaps: they're not so good for people and the U.S. is banning it.

Lol! Stop driving him so hard if not he will even get more clingy. He's just 2 so can't be as independent as you want. Some days indulge and some days lie down with him in his room till he sleeps off b4 you retire to your room. Also keep light for them in d room so that he doesn't get frightened.
For me once I wean, my kids move to their room so I don't wait till they are bigger cos it's harder then. Even at that my 2nd son,almost 4yrs old still comes to my room once in awhile in d early hours of the morning.
Don't worry with time he will get a hang of it. As for kpekus, reschedule it for late nights instead of early hours of d morng.
That's d price of parenthood
