Yes, you are right.
Getting a job offer when you are outside Canada is the problem. It's easier for inland applicants.

Best advise is to evaluate both diploma and degree. Otherwise, how do you prove to the evaluation body your 100 level courses? Law degree in Nigeria is 5 years and 4 years through Direct entry.

luxis:
Hello everyone, Please I need assistance with this.
I did diploma in law then gained direct entry admission into Law. Do I need to also evaluate my diploma in law with my bachelor in law degree with CES or just my bachelor in law degree would suffice. Thank you.

Landing Gist grin grin

I arrived in Australia on Monday evening Aussie time grin.. I was so happy and excited cheesy grin grin..

We left home for the airport at 4am on Sunday ... My flight was by 8 am so we had to leave early..

When we arrived at MMIA, the airport was not filled and we quickly did our check-in.. then we went back to take pics with family..

It was an emotional moment but I wasn't moved. ... I'm a man of violence... So we boarded the plane which was Qatar airways ... Quickly said my goodbye wishes to my friends on whatsapp before network lost... A lot of people were surprised tho.. and I expected that...

At that point in the plane, I was heavily anxious... I didn't know what to expect.. I've never been on a plane nor have I been in a large association of foreigners .. when the plane started to move,my anxiety rose and I became very paranoid praying that this plane doesn't crash embarassed...

Well ,take off was smooth sha... Then they served food.. God!!! This was the worst food I've ever eaten in my life.. no taste at all.. I'm pretty sure that the food I cooked in ekosodin was 59x better than that shit angry sad angry... I nearly cried because I was hungry and I told my parents before leaving that it's best I eat now than relying on airplane food .

The only thing I enjoyed was the apple juice.. the rest were below the bar... Then I watch some films like Encanto and Fatherhood... Later, I slept off sha because I didn't sleep the past night due to anxiety of the flight..

Soon, we arrived at Doha... Guy.. Doha is so beautiful sha.. Nigeria is such a complete mess sha.. .. we walked from where we came down from airport to where we'll wait to board the next plane. ..

It was a long walk sha... I jokingly told my cousin that this was our long walk to freedom grin grin grin.. There we waited at the airport till it was time to board..

we boarded the second flight. This one was a bit bigger.. but with little leg space... And it was for 13 hrs

I was in a tight position throughout.. I couldn't even manage myself ... Then they served us food which was a little bit better sha... I rewatched Harry Potter again sha but I didn't finish it because of sleep sha..

When we touched down Sydney, I was so happy.. I had finally touchdown the city that I had so dreamer of.. I was finally here smiley

My happiness knew no bounds... immigration was quick and then we went to get our baggages.. a little bit stressful but we crossed that hurdle

My family members came to pick us and we took pictures to send home... Then my cousin drove me to some of my other family members place where we ate and talked... Later on we moved to another of my family's place where we are to stay temporarily..

I had to find time to write this sha.. I've just been sleeping and watching Netflix.... I've never seen this kain enjoyment before grin cheesy..

Today I did my Medicare stuff, opened a new bank account and got a new Sim...

You can get a professional diploma in HRM if you go through examination route. As a B.sc holder, you are expected to take Intermediate 2, PE-1 and PE-2 to qualify for the certificate. The duration is 3 diet (18 months program). WES evaluate it as equivalent to 3 years canadian bachelors degree

Have you done your ECA and IELTS? these are the credentials you need to create an account with ircc. Please, ensure you are on the correct site.
I hope you have read this thread from page 1 so you understand the process well.

Which site did you create an account? Are you referring to credentials evaluation body? If yes, you have to make payment to generate reference number for all your correspondence with them.
UmmuYusroh:
Thanks for referring me here. It seems I will be asking lot of questions because I don't want to make any mistake in my application. Have created an account in their site and have chosen the program that am interested in. After this, is it payment that I have to make or what is the next procedure?

You didn't name the school in question.
However, WES is not the only evaluation body in Canada. You may check with other bodies like ICES, ICAS, IQAS and CES and make your choice.

If you are using WES, evaluate both ND and HND. It will cost you the same amount- CAD$220

How much did you do the overall evaluation please?

I want to evaluate ND and HND? Am I paying one fee for both or separately and how much?

Thank you.

Only the primary applicant needs to evaluate his/her credentials. However, evaluating your spouse credentials may become useful should there be need to switch the primary applicant .

Do I need to evaluate my spouse's credentials on WES or I the applicant alone?

Yes you can evaluate it and have two or more certificate. Just reach out to the evaluation body you used for your Bsc and request to add additional certificate. it will attract extra cost though.

It's very possible for your transcript to be rejected on the ground that the school location is different from where the parcel was posted. Sometimes, they consider the location, which must be close to your school.

My honest advice? Ensure it's posted from Ife or nearest city/town and not far away Lagos.

[author=Ebuncrown post=86304957]Good morning everyone and happy Sunday. Please I need some sort of advice.

I have been processing my transcript in OAU via etx since 2018 even before I bought the canny vision all to no avail. Over 30k gone down the drain.

Long story short I was introduced to someone in transcript office who has helped so far. I paid for courier service to send to CES as well extra PR for his own work since October 2019 and up till now My transcript has still not been sent.

I gave him a piece of my mind last night and woke up to his text now saying he wants to sent the transcript to me in Lagos and I’d send to Canada myself if I don’t mind the extra cost again. I don’t mind o but the questions are

Should I accept to do that cos I have been waiting for IFe to send it for the past 4months all to no avail.

If I accept should I send it from Lagos or travel to Ife to use DHL on campus to send it?

What if CES decides to verify and they discover I sent it myself though in the official envelope and seal, would it create any problems for me?

Since the school wants to frustrate my efforts, should I go ahead and send it by myself?

Thank you guys.[/quote]

Congratulations on the positive step so far. This journey indeed requires alot of patience. Please, keep us updated as you progress as that will energize so many of us to keep moving until we all succeed.

Canadachick:
Thanks.

So I started the journey in 2016 with the hope of migrating through the Express Entry. I evaluated my credentials with IQAS and sat for IELTS in 2016. I could not make the cut-off. I was 33 years with just a kid then. The AIPP program just was introduced then. I became interested in using that route, however, the hurdle of getting an employer was very high to climb. Fast word to 2019, still in the process but my IELTS has expired, I started applying widely to employers who were designated in the 4 provinces in the Atlantic. It was tedious but at last, an employer from NB came to the rescue.

After 2 rounds of online interviews after assessing my CV, they decided to sponsor my application. Since they were designated, it was quite easy for them. I got the offer in September 2019 and had to rewrite the IELTS in October since the previous one was expired. Submitted to them when the result came out ( I had a band of 7.5). My ECA was still valid. So presently waiting for endorsement. Sector- Marketing
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by connectgt: 3:02pm On Jan 08, 2020
Simple google search would have answered this your question.

However, let me give you the response you seek. AIPP is employment driven. You need a job offer from canadian employer from any of the 4 atlantic provinces--New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador. Once you get an offer, your employer will sponsor your PR application. The requirement is mild compared to express entry. e.g, low IELTS score, low Proof of fund and age requirement. But you must live in the province that nominate you for the first 3 years. For details, check (https://www.nairaland.com/5273969/re-immigrate-canada-through-aipp)

Conversely, Express entry is point based system with CRS score and high proof of fund. And you are free to live anywhere in Canada once you receive your PR. This thread where you asked your question has all the information you seek for express entry.

Hope that helps.

smartkester:
Aww!! So no one can help me out with the difference between AIPP and express entry??

However, the score is not enough for EE, but can go for PNP. Just enter the pool once you have your ECA and IELTS. You might get picked for PNP by any of the provinces.

You can start the process at anytime and if she gives birth along the line, you can always notify IRCC and add your baby to your application.

As the primary applicant, you need both ECA and IELTS for this journey.
Your wife may write IELTS and have her ECA done if you are going through point based route like Express entry, PNP or RNIP as her points will increase your total score.

damble:
SORRY FOR BUGGING U WITH QUESTIONS. CAN I DO ECA WHILE MY WIFE DOES IELTS TO BETTER SCORE?
