Bro don’t make the mistake of buying another shaft other than the specific one for your vehicle. It’s one of the reasons people have shaft issues on our kinds of vehicles.

If you drive end of discussion and put evil spirit shaft it will not give you what you want. They might look and feel the same but they were built differently with different part numbers from factory.

Try to find the right shaft for your vehicle, the type that was intended for it from the factory. don’t substitute. I’ve had experience of this type thing specifically when it comes to Honda shafts.

Remote diagnosis would be difficult.

Try to postpone changing the transmission fluid till your mileage gets to 100,000 miles (that is if you’re sure of the carfax and also sure it’s odometer wasn’t rolled back before sale)

If you still want to go ahead with the change then make sure you do a simple drain and fill. You will need 3.6 US qt OR 3.4 liters of HCF-2 fluid (drain and fill capacity)

I understand the need for the bidirectional scanner but for the vehicle I currently drive I can comfortably forgo it at the moment hence my settling for the AP200.

It has everything I need for regular DIY maintenance like scanning the transmission, coding new keys etc but the only thing it lacks is a bidirectional testing functionality which I can live without for now. That bidirectional scan function can add another N50k to my budget for a scanner if I decide to get one with such a feature.

I'm expecting for routers to have Battery, you must be joking, Airtel,Mtn, Glo and so on offers routers that connects upto 5ghz, and distance is huge. The only problem is their download speed is a bit slow. With 5g I think Mtn is trying. Wtf, how will I stop using a service once they take light, in this country where there is electricity issue. Oil/filter changes are a walk in the park. I was simply too lazy to do it myself/plus I always bundled it with other preventive maintenance such as throttle body/MAF cleaning, tire rotation etc. and paid for them at once so never bothered doing it myself, directly.

After deciding to go DIY and fire the Kazeems in my motoring life, I discovered that I still have about a month and some days on the OCI I run (M1EP paired with Fram US, good for a year or 20k miles, whichever is first).

This explains the 'learning jump'

About the scanner: I already have a mid-range option now (have always had it as far as memory serves).

Looking to upgrade to a high end bi-directional model in the days to come (I hope the days are kind).

I had to learn the hard way when I was living in a remote village and had no good mechanics around me for years until I was transferred out of that location.

I have all the tools I need to work on my vehicles suspension and engine (except a few specialized tools like that contraption mechanics use to compress shock absorber springs, giant breaker bar etc)

I need a scanner. I have never had one for myself. I’m eying this Autel AP200 Bluetooth scanner since I love its functionality and reviews so far.

Your iPhone shouldn’t show that message if truly your battery percentage is at 91%. There is something wrong somewhere. Are you sure it isn’t a refurbished phone or battery?

Op it’s a very solid vehicle. My neighbor uses one. There are mechanics and parts for it in the country. Get it if you are interested and see and good unit.

In the coming weeks ,I'll run an oil change , change the PCV valve, clean up the MAF/throttle body, flush the power steering fluid, flush the brake lines and get to fill up a lot of reservoirs!!

For you to have attempted all the prior fixes by yourself without first learning to change your engine oil and filter speaks volumes of your diy prowess.

The main reason why lagosians are looking like they might vote for GRV is because of the impact of the heavy taxation levied on the hustling residents of the state. Anybody talking about tinubu’s rather obvious and his hold on the state is just doing so out of spite and envy.

Transportation drivers, their Conductors, keke, okada, even the truck pusher pay exorbitant fees daily. Even if I go to market and buy things for my home, depending on how heavy and loaded my vehicle is they will stop me to pay for using my own vehicle to go shopping it’s not supposed to be so.

APC should have centralized it’s tax collection so it’s done in an easier and safer way for everyone instead of utilizing the street boys around the state. Other states also have agberos too but they aren’t as backed and empowered by the non state actors like it’s done in Lagos state.

Lagos will be better. Sanwo olu is doing well. I hope he does something about this issue if he remains as governor.
