Osinbajo is naive and lacks political capability required to steer the mantle of leadership in a country like Nigeria, he will only end up like GEJ trying to satisfy the north. But BAT is a political genius, he understands the game very well and above all, he's a discoverer of brain.
Your talk shows your years.

The Taliban has renamed Afghanistan the ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ after its fighters swept into the capital, Kabul, a bustling metropolis of six million that has turned into a male-dominated city without police or traffic controls.

Aljazeera reports that scores of Afghans ran alongside a US military plane as it taxied on the runway and several clung to the side as the jet took off with Senior US military officials confirming to Aljazeera that the chaos left seven dead, as well as several who fell from the flight.

According to AP, the Taliban, a militant group that ran the country in the late 1990s, have again taken control.

The US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 ousted the insurgents from power, but they never left.

After they blitzed across the country in recent days, the Western-backed government that has run the country for 20 years collapsed.

CNN reports that hundreds of people poured onto the tarmac at Kabul’s international airport, desperately seeking a route out of Afghanistan on Monday after the Taliban’s sudden seizure of power sparked a chaotic Western withdrawal and brought to a crashing end the United States’ two-decade mission in the country.

US President Joe Biden also received a briefing by top security officials on the situation in Afghanistan, the White House said.

“This morning, the President was briefed by his national security team, including the Secretary of Defense and Chairman Milley, on the security situation at Hamid Karzai International Airport, and ongoing efforts to safely evacuate American citizens, US Embassy personnel and local staff, SIV (special immigrant visa) applicants and their families, and other vulnerable Afghans,” it said in a statement.

Stupid headline from a mischief maker. So he was sentenced because he insulted buhari? You couldn't even give a hint of the crime he committed. Rather, you centered your frivolous writing on buhari. If that is the case many Nigerians would have been in jail today, after they insult him every minute, and I am not aware they are being disturbed for that.

If only this man and Mmaduka could come together and work as governor and deputy irrespective of their education and financial background, bet me Anambra (land of milk and honey) will be the best state in the history of Nigeria.
It doesn't work like that my brother. Look at Abia State, the governor and the deputy are both Ph.D holders. In addition to that, the deputy is not just a chartard Accountant, but a fellow chartard Accountant. Yet buhari they accused of not having ordinary waec, is a genius in governance to compare to them.

You really are pathetic!

You see a clear case of contempt of court, yet all you can do is treat it with levity and show your rotten teeth in smug satisfaction!

The actions of you vile, vindictive creatures proves right those who say your country is nothing but a zoo governed by animals!

The difference between you and i is that, no matter how much i may despise someone, i would still want them to receive a fair and speedy trial when accused of ‘treason’! Or could it be you lot are afraid of what may be revealed and have a watery case that can’t stand the rigours of the defense attorney’s cross-examination!?
You people are too pathetic. You distroy every democratic institutions of governance, went against the rights of others to live by killing police men, soldiers, burning INEC offices, courts, police stations etc. All by the instruction of your supreme leader. Then all of a sudden, you want the same process you destroyed to protect you. Who does that?

PoliticsI Will sign Restructuring Bill once Passed by the National Assembly - Buhari by contigiency(op): 7:46am On Jun 25, 2021
President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday said he would not hesitate to give assent to any amendments to the 1999 Constitution on restructuring.

He spoke when the National Executive of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), led by Prof Benjamin Okaba, visited him at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

On calls for restructuring, the President noted that the National Assembly, whose responsibility it is to amend the constitution, had concluded regional consultations.

“As soon as they finalise the process, necessary action would not be delayed on my part,” he said.

Advocates of restructuring will leave a sigh of relief after yesterday’s comment by the President. This is unlike what he said at the weekend in a message at the Kudirat Abiola Sabon Gari Peace Foundation in Zaria, Kaduna State.

He said: “Those who are discussing restructuring, my question is, what are you going to restructure? “If you ask many Nigerians what they are going to restructure, you will find out that they have nothing to talk about. “Some of them have not even studied the 1999 Constitution. The 1999 Constitution is almost 70 to 80 per cent 1979 Constitution.”

Responding to other requests by the INC, the President said the creation of two additional states and more local government areas for the Ijaw are to be handled by the National Assembly. He praised the INC leadership for affirming its belief in a united Nigeria.

A statement by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, quoted the President as saying: “Make sure that we keep working together to keep this country a united, indivisible entity so that we can tackle our problems together and overcome our challenges together.”

On the Hydrocarbon Remediation Project, the President said he had directed the Federal Ministry of Environment to ensure that the remediation efforts in Ogoni are implemented with a high percentage of local content.

The President said the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency, under the same ministry, is working to ensure that oil spills are prevented.

On the allocation of operational licenses for marginal fields to the Ijaw people, the President said: “The process of granting licenses is guided by laid down rules and regulations, most of which even favour local content and local contractors. “I see no reason why they should not be granted such licenses if they qualify.”

On the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), the President pledged that the Board would be inaugurated as soon as the forensic audit report is submitted and accepted. “A contentious issue that has been a subject of discourse amongst the Ijaw people of recent has been the need for the NDDC to live up to its billing by delivering the required succour to the people of the region.

“Based on the mismanagement that had previously bedevilled the NDDC, a forensic audit was set up and the result is expected by the end of July 2021. “I want to assure you that as soon as the forensic audit report is submitted and accepted, the NDDC Board will be inaugurated. “I would like to implore the Ijaw National Congress to play a more active role in making sure that the mismanagement that occurred in the past is not repeated,” he said.

The President also assured the leadership of INC that the completion of the East-West Road remained top on his infrastructure agenda. “We have made considerable progress with the construction of the Bonny to Port Harcourt Bridge,” he said.

Prof Okaba reaffirmed INC’s belief in the “overall and mutual benefits of true federalism and resource control to the prosperity and stability of Nigeria”. He assured the President that the Ijaws “have no secessionist agenda.”

He urged President Buhari to mandate the Ministry of Petroleum Resources to direct the relocation of the headquarters of all oil companies to their operational bases in the Niger Delta.

“The excuse of insecurity is no longer tenable. It is common knowledge that nowhere in Nigeria is safer than the other. “The revamping of the major ports at Onne, Warri, Port Harcourt and Bonny will accelerate economic growth, reduce joblessness, youth criminality and contribute to national unity and stability,” he said.
