My own is that I have never seen this people dishing out all the statistics walk up to me or anybody I know to get their information. So I wonder how they manufacture the numbers they give to the public. I think if anyone wants to determine anybody's standard of living, the researcher will once in a while interact with the people and get relevant information like the person's income level, number of dependent relatives etc.

But in this case, nobody comes to ask questions. Rather, what you read every time is some organizations sitting down somewhere producing different figures on different issues. And I think the time is ripe to start diasgreeing those things.

Yes we know, just that PDP who never organized any good election are now claiming to be saints, and are now shouting to those who care to listen that buhari should perfect everything overnight.
Career › Re: Isaac Adewole: Not All Medical Graduates Must Practice, Some Can Be Farmers by contigiency(m): 6:42am On Sep 22, 2018
All these ranting calling the man all sorts of unprintable names is just what I don't understand. What the man said is just very much in order.

Don't other graduates who even studied more than the over hyped Doctors farm? Please, there are many PhD holders everywhere in the world who are farmers. The ministers' advise is not bad at all. A lot of people spend up to 12years studying up to PhD and later deviate from what they have studied. That is why you have Lawyers, Accountants, Doctors, Engineers, surveyors, etc all going into politics instead of only practising what they have studied. Else, politics should have been left for those who studied political science and public administration.

Although, I know that some people's view on this discussion is out of ignorance. Because I have read where some are saying, after 7years, how can the person drop the certificate and take up hoes and matchet and go to farm. They forgot that farming has gone far beyond that level even in many rural communities today. Again, they should also see farming beyond just cultivation of land for food. How many hospitals are up to the level of any of the Dangote farms be it sugar, floor, rice etc in terms of wealth and other indices? So Any graduate can make a far better decent living out of farming if he so desire to do so. its a matter of choice.

Politics › Re: Osun Guber : APC Shares N500 To Market Women, Okada Riders And Artisans (VIDEO) by contigiency(m): 7:29pm On Sep 20, 2018
This is not vote buying. it's normal for politicians to share items including money during campaign. all the parties are doing this. what I will condemn is the one being paid during during the voting process.

Keep running away from the truth about the lifeless one, a dead man older than your grandpa been president of a supposed great country with so many astonishingly gifted men and women.

Politics › Re: We Have Moved 10 Million Nigerians Out Of Poverty – Udoma Udo Udoma by contigiency(m): 6:26am On Sep 19, 2018
lexy2014:
d "statistics" he gave were majorly about disbursements. Its one thing 2 disburse funds, its another 2 monitor d lives of those who received d funds 2c how their lives have changed after receiving d funds. For instance, he mentioned school feeding which u say is an area of intervention. How does feeding school children bring about prosperity? How does giving N5000 monthly bring about prosperity? Is there any other area I left out?
School feeding has a great multiplier effects. people are employed to do the cooking and they are paid promptly. You can imagine what it takes to take the job of cooking for one school. Multiply the number of school involved with number of women who have been gainfully employed for the scheme in the whole country. That is just for the direct job. For the indirect ones, do you know that the policy of the scheme is that you do not cook foreign food, rice for instance. You must patronize local farmers. Are you aware that Nasco biscuit was selected for almost all the biscuits that being used in the scheme? the implication is that the company will expand and employ more workers.

As for the 5000 you talked about, I can understand that you may be among the rich in the society, that could be why you questioned the capable impact of the amount. But I can confirm to you that it brought a lot of families out from certain poverty level.

Ezenwammadu:
Where are the 10 million Nigerians moved out of poverty? How did Nigeria overtake india as country with highest number of poor in the world? It’s a shame what grown men open their mouths to spew
They have mentioned the various areas the interventions were made, and you just sat down in your room arguing. Every person who is alive and leaving in this country for the past three years, knows that the government has been pumping money in those areas. Let's I forget, many of you prefer to align and believe in reports done overseas, than the one done here in Nigeria with facts and figures.

He is now a thief because he has left your party. But When APC government wanted to probe him you people started shouting that the man was innocent, that it was supression of opposition and all sort of rubbish. As far as I know, PDP is where thieves are gathered.

These are all lies. This write-up was doctored. It doesn't make sense to me at all. How can she claim to have forged certificate when she had passed 30 years? Why didn't she get exemption letter? Who is fooling who? She was told to write it because pmb wanted to put a manipulate able minister of finance. All these are because of election. He replaced the head of dss already. All the major decision making institutions will be headed by his northern guys or at best loyalist Yoruba like Adesina. If you have passed the age for nysc, it's not a sin. You claim exemption letter from nysc.
Only if you know how stupid you have sounded, you will learn the rope on how to be rational when next you want to comment on an issue.

why should he? Is ignorance an excuse in law? I agreed with the previous speaker, prosecution should be next. Now she's claiming she's not privy, then why didn't she resign b4 now? Rather she allowed herself to be blackmailed by the senate in order to do their bidding.
Why she didn't resign since, as if its easy. Even though many of you online probity champions are criminals who never and will never give a dam over the atrocities of your like minded criminal PDP party. It's understandable why you may be forgiven for your position on issues concerning buhari government. The fact that we started on a wrong footing with the gang that raped this country headed by obasanjo in 1999, actually spoilt many of you who have been benefiting from the rotten system. so to change the guard at a time no one thought it was possible, was a huge shock to many of you. I strongly recommend a rehabilitation home to enable many of you come back to the reality.
