I love this. when Men who have depth join to rebuild our collective wealth. And not just to leave everything to the everyday politicians who have nothing at stake.
Politics › Re: Falana Replies Atiku On Restructuring by contigiency(m): 7:18pm On Sep 05, 2018
BedLam:
Typical Nigerian. We leave the subject and attack the person's personality.
Why dont we set another day or page for the messengers crucifixion?
Let's deal with the message today.
And if people that squandered our common wealth shouldn't talk restructuring, who else should? Is anyone a saint in this country ?
Oga, you are the one doing what you are accusing falana of. He made a valid point that, Nigeria is over due for restructuring. But that restructuring on its own will not guarantee peace and development if the issue of wealth redistribution is not addressed at the same time.

His view is in consonance with what the vice president had said, when he opined that the kind of restructuring that will add the needed value is not that of a mere geographical adjustment or restructuring. but the one that will deepen good governance by way of wealth redistribution and devolution of certain powers to other federating units.

And I agree with them because, if you even say today, let all region develop with their resources at their pace, you will still see Niger delta leaders highjacking and looting their commonwealth. Same will be applicable in almost all the regions. So let's be wise and not just swallow all the rhetorics of these politicians who are hunting for votes in the coming election.

After all, if Atiku was serious with the debate he dabbled into, he could have supported his view with practical approach he took to address the issue when he was in power. You had how osibanjo meticulously enumerated practical and evidencial steps he took to address restructuring when he was the Attorney General of Lagos state, even several cases he won at the supreme court. Interestingly, those cases were against Obasanjo/Atiku regime. Did you hear from Atiku that time condemning the actions of his government then to show he ever meant anything about what he is preaching today?

Falana don't just mind them. they take us for fools. that is why When they finish committing all sorts of atrocity will turn back and start parading themselves as saints.

shocked

Should this even be legal, the source of the money must be investigated.
NCAN is quick to make available 55million to buy a presidential ticket for the president that is already well to do while their brothers and sisters are dying in the IDP camps from hunger, malnutrition and diseases.
Black skin and skewed mentality are like 5 & 6 (pls someone attached that Zuma meme)
You are not current. Everything about the form cost N45m and not 55. As for those handicapped people you are mentioning, this group is aware that buhari government has shown more empathy towards them. hence the need to support and promote the second tenure bid of the government so as to completly eradicate their woes.

kane4kane:
Dude, the rate of underage voting in the north is alarming..

The rate of non citizens registering and voting is alarming. I was a corps member during the last election and I sabi wetin most of these states did as election, na wash.

This is why i dislike this country. There is no way Nigeria can be a developed country even in the next 50 years. If u think im joking, archive this comment.

Nigeria will continue to struggle for ever. Why? We play politics for wrong reasons. Yes, no region has developed in Nigeria but there is something more alarming about northern Nigeria that we need to check. They have produced more leaders, have more states, get more money into the region, yet the region is last in almost everything:

from poverty, to poor education, to diseases, to death, insecurity, etc. What does that tell u? It means the rest of the country will continue to be at the mercy of that region for ever and continue to drag backward.

If only southern Nigeria can pull resources together and pull out from north, even the north will enjoy such dramatic pulling out.

This is a sincere comment. Sadly, politicians no send as long as the paycheck keep coming.
You made some valid points there.

Melaye or whatever they call you, you can only claim the duty tour allowance and definitely not the the training allowance for a training you did not under go as you stated here. Your position should be for them to refund the money back to the government coffers since they did not make use of it as budgeted.
Politics › Re: APC Party Primaries Timetable by contigiency(m): 5:53am On Sep 05, 2018
paulchineduN:
APC is just a political party that has failed in their promise to bring about positive change. If not, why should one pay this bogus sum just to purchase nomination and expression of interest forms? Where is d space made for youth and women? How do they expect good governance to take place when they are into full merchandising as a political party? Little wonder APC states are the worst performing states in Nigeria.

Don't just bother yourself thinking that I am a PDP supporter. I am stating it the way it is. APC seems to be direction-less about how government is run to better d life of Nigeria's citizenry.
Oga, this is not a Jamb or WAEC forms. if you want to contest and your money is not complete, you are free to choose another party that sell their forms cheaper. That you are a youth should not exclude you from doing what your opponents are doing. Politics is a costly venture anywhere in the world. This is a contest and you want an undue advantage over your opponent, how does that sound? or you want the price to be slashed so that every craifish seller will become aspirants. Be guided.

Scape goat you said? If nothing is done you will complain, now action is being taking you still complain. If you are among those who don't believe that some people are being compromised to work against this government by painting the government bad, then you surely have a problem. And if you are also among those who suddenly forgot that we have overzealous police officers simply because buhari is the president, then I am sure you have fallen into the category of those that even if buhari marry a new wife for you today, you will definitely complain that one of her breast is bigger than the other.

Spoilt brat. Is that how to approach an elder? Can you approach Adeboye in a similar manner? It's a shame that this man just sacrificed his integrity for nothing.
integrity to you would have been for him to keep quiet while he was being quoted out of context? Some of you have just defied every rational approach of being refined. You could not make anything out of the germane issues he raised to keep his position in the proper perspective. It is really worrisome.

In the Bible, we're made to understand that God is a consuming fire

For the poster of Secondus to be igniting real fire shows that APC are playing with fire

This blazing fire that APC are playing with has God on it too

I just pity their upcoming victims in advance
Oga, read and understand. Not APC that is burning those things. But PDP members who are angry over the handing over of the party structure in the state to Kwankwaso.

Ndonu101:
Buhari does not want elections next year

The courts have established the power of NASS to amend the electoral bill

Buhari will rather plunge the Nation into crisis than allow a free and fair election
Tomorrow now you start looking for who is illiterate, but look at a common write up, you could not read. and understand what was written. or even where it was stated that the law forbids the president to edit or amend what was sent to him. He would rather assent to it in the manner it came or he returns it like that.

That is someone who is lawful. And not the national assembly that will rewrite an entire budget sent to them without minding an aspect of this nature. Though I am not surprised after all, people like you do clap for them because you think their actions is against buhari.
