Even when I read the news, I said to myself that the fifth columnists have entered town. There are people who take delight in rubbishing what another person is doing. And those are the same people spreading this falsehood.

Then you are contradicting yourself. Because if you talk of merit, then you or any other unbiased person should look at it that all the teams set out one day to achieve three things. One is to participate and be counted among others. Two is to win the league, and three is to qualify for champions or Europa league.

Now towards ending of the league, something unforseen happened. But before it happened, all teams have played equal number of matches. So at the point this thing happened, and you want to end the league, will it not be inappropriate to bring some teams that are behind to the front? Why will you bring teams in 5th and 6th position and displace teams that were already ahead of them? And you call that merit? No, unless you have another dictionary that has a different meaning of merit.

By sporting merit, coefficient or any other criteria will not be used except the league table. More so, coefficient is a point earned judging each teams performance in Europe for a number of years, and it's being used for seeding when grouping teams for Eefa competitions, but certainly not for qualifications.

South Africa has carried out over 100k test and Ghana has carried out over 50ktests, while we still dey on 7k tests

The president said that we now have the capacity to do 1500 test per day. The question I want to ask you is, have you gone for your own test? Or you want the president to come and be forcing people to go and test whether they are showing symptoms or not? You have to go and test yourself to show example before making such statement.
