Pennywise:
This is incredible. But it is also typically Nigerian.

Someone comes with an issue to discuss on what is essentially a fun internet medium. All that is reqd is that u give an opinion on the issue and move on. But others whether its a desperate bid to seek relevance or for some other obscure reason have left the message for the messenger. There may even be some resentment of the OP's social status. That too is in our nature.

For the diasporans who toil night and day thereby aging prematurely, what the OP has done is abominable, infact a capital crime. Nevermind a young girl has been given a chance for education and an opportunity to extricate her family and herself from the twin inevitable fate of prostitution and poverty. Nevermind that she has been saved from early death from readily treatable diseases the cost of which her parents cannot afford. In the UK and the US she is no body's business but the social welfare's. In Nigeria that is just another foreign concept.

Who talked abt slavery for someone who is free to get up and leave.
And why is it that some pple are prepared to undo their panties bc d girl is being made fun of like she is on NL?
OP you brought an interesting issue for discussion pls dont be discouraged by NL resident nonetities. Even though I have no contribution at this time
so ridiculing her housemaid by calling her suegbe is the way to discuss issues?
how about wording the title of the thread more appropriately? if this little girl is your sister, would you let anyone refer to her as suegbe on a public forum? i don't care about the number of louis vuitton bags she has bought for the poor girl but calling a 14-yr old suegbe reeks of the slave-driver mentality.

i am afraid, the op is an utter moron!

The problem is YOU jumped into a topic you don't know anything about. Dayo was asking for the sources of my stats not because he challenging the source but because he wanted to know. After numerous pleas, I gave him the source. THen you come with your garbage which at that time is utterly irrelevant ad out of place.

Why should I not ask what purpose your post serves then?
nateevs, stop feeding the troll for fuck's sake!

dayokanu:
And AVB suddenly became competent, Sturridge and Mata suddenly found their groove and all the stars miraculously aligned when one player left the team
of course, yes.
statistically, united were better off without van nistelrooy and roy keane.
if we believe the crap you keep spewing, ruud and keane were useless for united, right?

I know u don't give up easily!
As for me, i didn't get convinced, i just moved up to a higher status!!! grin
which serves every purpose. I stopped being a supported but remained a Man U fan!
How's that?
well - i am a fan too.
i criticized fergie's selection/tactics on sunday - it's not like i have always been satisfied with everything man utd do.
but i cannot fault the performance of any player last night - they were magnificent, otelul were just too resilent with their method of parking a van!

Emperoh:

As for your argument with Starboard, pls keep ahead, i am watching the battle!!
I wish it was easy to denounce man u!!! grin
man utd is my dna.
i breathe, eat, drink, sleep man utd.
against city, i am predicting another land-slide victory. wink
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by coogar: 5:15pm On Oct 19, 2011
StarBoard:
That's why you shouldn't have made that bogus prediction.
Anybody CAN get sent off on any given day.Or am I wrong on that one as well?
2-nil against a team no one knew about is hardly anything to crow about.
i did not make predictions - this must be a figment of your wet dreams.
concentrate:

coogar:
i will be watching another match. i can't be arsed to see this one.
all i just want to see after 90 mins is otelul 0-5 man utd.

this should be a shooting practice for our forward players.
so how is that a prediction?

Oga coogar,so you finally agreed Evra was culpable for that goal.
evra wasn't directly culpable. he thought xavi would find messi and evra got attracted to messi but xavi's a master of disguise passes.
this is why he's the best midfielder in europe. had evra stayed with pedro, xavi would have found messi who was unmarked.

Anyway,if Otelul were smarter, they'd have killed us wiith that limp display yesterday.
that was why i wanted to see united winning it by 5-0.
i knew otelul were not smart.

Michael Carrick couldn't shine when Bayern came calling, gifting them a goal at OT.
Michael Carrick has been dogged twice when we met Barca.
Yet Michael Carrick becomes the master of European nights when we play non-descript teams.
inter milan vs man utd(carrick bossed mourinho's team)
man utd vs barcelona, barcelona vs man utd(both legs in the semis 2008)
man utd vs roma(2008)
and so on and so forth. it's not like carrick doesn't boss grade-a teams.

Beating Otelul Galatico (according to Daniel Amokachi) isn't something to beat one's chest about.
except that the team that beat otelul galactico have already beaten man city, chelsea, arsenal, tottenham, etc already this season.
i am sure daniel amokachie is a retard - my pet tortoise understands football principles than daniel. it's one thing to know how to kick the ball, it's another thing to be able to analyse!

As for the opening penalty,I'm pretty sure we won't know whether Hernandez would have scored if presented with that chance from Rooney. There's a probability that he could have missed that.
don't speak for everyone, speak for yourself.
i know hernanddez would have scored from that chance. the defender knew too - his reason for handling the ball deliberately.

I'll go one better:
Tottenham 1-0 Wigan (1st Half)
Tottenham 9-1 Wigan (Full time).
now you know!

You crowed that United would win by 5-nil.When that didn't happen, you blamed Vidic's dismissal. If United won 5-nil as you predicted, whether or not Vidic was sent off, you'd be thinking you were some kind of soccer guru.
3 points is 3 points.But 2-nil isn't 5-nil.
i am a soccer guru.
whether united were able to beat otelul 5-0 or not does not remove that.
it was a game united bossed. had more possession, made more passes and opened up after the 70th minute.

united team in their full pomp after getting the first goal could have scored 5 - but playing a man down away from home is difficult. they did not stop there. they kept a clean sheet and were still able to tuck another goal in.
i am entirely satisfied with their performance.

Unless your prediction was made with the second game in a fortnight in mind.
Maybe United can make up for the remaining goals you predicted.
we shall cross that bridge when we get there!

I was a little taken aback by many of the Comments on here.  but maybe I should make it clear.

Her mother has  7 kids and occasionally works in the sex trade

She abandoned her at the home of the friend of a relative

I put her in private school

She has her own room which I am 100% sure is bigger and better than most people on heres master bedroom

She has more clothes and jewelry than most other 14 year old Her age

She goes on vacation with me abroad

She doesnt cook

she sweeps with a vacuum cleaner

  I still wash the bathrooms

She doesnt even wash her own clothes cos I wash them with the familys in our washing machine

She has more pocket money than most of you make in salary.

I help her with her Home work everyday and attend all her PTA Meetings

For her end of term party in school she had a big Bottom cake that she shared with all the pupils in her class and from what I hear the teachers and staff too

She has a better life with me than anyone of you here had in your childhoods and I know it.

If you think Your child is better cared for than mY  OMO ODO, , then PROVE IT
you are a disgrace to the nigerian women with this bucket of crap.
"omo odo" and "suegbe" - that's supposed to make you macho, isn't it.

if your omo odo is still daft(after 9 months of staying with you) - then it's a no brainer you are also daft.

Is it too premature to say d old Patrice Evra is back? He was as solid defensively as he used to be against Liverpool, and was probably d most effective player going forward against Otelu last night.

Also concerned with Valencia, when Nani playing on his less preferred left wing is putting in more crosses and looking 3 times more threatening than Valencia, I think it is safe to say he isn't play that well. Seen as we increasingly rely on our wing play, I hope he hits form quick.
i'd say michael carrick is our best player on the pitch!

but its true the yoruba men in question are that way towards any female, not only igbos.

the reason why it seems otherwise is because they are sweet talkers and make the woman or women feel special.

key word here is sweet talking.

check out any thread on nl where foreign [whether non-yoruba or non-nigerian] women are being praised- you'll find the chief praise singers are the yoruba males on nl.
