Either he is bang average or just unlucky... The guy just can't convert his chance well..

I can't remember a game he has played under Rohr where he didn't get a scoring chance .. Do u remember that Zambia game in Uyo? When Iwobi made a mad run for the ball after a failed Zambia corner...He got the ball from his opponent and laid a beautiful pass for Ighalo who had just the keeper to beat.. He couldn't even trap the ball properly and lost it.. Mehn. it was painful... Add to the two chances he missed against Argentina...

If he can't deliver against Libya tomorrow,he should be dropped !!
.

Yes I remember that chance where he decided to cut back instead of shooting at once. That got me mad mehn. Let's wait for tomorrow. Hopefully he scores

It is not about luck. He does not click with Nigeria and i think it is because he is average. We have had strikers like him before but they were not the number 1 striker. People like Akwuegbu and Akpoborie.
. He hit the bar twice. One against England and the other against Seychelles. That's quite unlucky to me. Average? Maybe but no one can really say he's not been trying to score. I hope he scores to redeem his image for some time or at least for his sanity grin grin

The goal was cancelled after VAR. It appears that against better defenders, he does not have the confidence to try things like that.
. I don't think it's lack of confidence that's his problem. I feel like he's just been very very unlucky wearing our colours. I sincerely do hope he scores on Saturday. Why was the goal cancelled though?

You show a lack of depth when you rely on opinions of others. You have evaded the question unashamedly.

let me reiterate, TELL ME JUST ONE UNTRUTHFUL FACT i have stated and stop dodging and hiding behind other peoples comments, it make you look far from intelligent.

Simple question that requires a simple answer, no conjecture or supposition SIMPLE ANSWER you made the allegation now SUBSTANTIATE IT
.

I do not need to rely on the opinions of others to call a spade a spade. Have you read through your comments? If you have and still believe your 'truthful facts' exist without sentiments, unnecessary assumptions and little exaggerations here and there, then I'm sorry but I can't help you. Ur own pass me grin. U see,I've been on this thread for a long time but I rarely comment. If your sole purpose on this thread is to make yourself look and sound as intelligent as they come in the eyes of readers, then my brother, carry on. Good luck cheesy. I have better things to do with my life than worrying about how intelligent or wise, people think of me on a faceless forum cool cool.

I look at players' individual ability, not clubs and leagues.

Ekong, with all due respect to him has not been very superb with us in recent games. Inaccurate passes, poor set-piece defending, occasional dangerous marking e.g the PK against Croatia. And his height isn't exactly helping matters. I've watched a couple of Ajayi's games and I think we should try him.
. Ekong is 6'3. That's tall enough for a defender.

he contributes other things aside goals. This season, even when he failed to score, he was winning MOTM.

Goals don't tell the full story. What is a player's overall input?
Ronaldo did have a bad spell at the beginning of the season ,in the sense that to majority of soccer fans when you mention Ronaldo, the first thing that comes to mind is the number of goals scored and records broken. And for about 4 games,he just wasn't delivering. He's picked up though. Good for him.

You are right. Dunk and Duffy haven't exactly been awesome but they still remain Hughton's most reliable duo at the back. They were there when they survived relegation last season and obviously are well trusted by Hughton. Leon is obviously the first option in defence the coach turns to when either Dunk or Duffy is not available but when those two are in, Leon benches. But hopefully shaa, maybe Leon will eventually grow on Chris Hughton. wink
. Lmao. Sounds so weird grin
