SolutionMee:
That's the problem with this country. We love shifting responsibilities and denying accountabilities. We blame our government for almost everything. What role have you played in the betterment of your country? It's people like you that wants Nigeria to be like China but will eventually vote in Buhari next year. Yet, you'll continue blaming the old man for another four years. Like I said earlier on, our major problem is that we have thinking problem. Not until we start thinking creatively, constructively, innovatively, analytically and logically, we may never get things right. . I feel so helpless right now. This country is a mess. |

Check your email for the free ebook Great job up there but you and I know that these things barely work on Naija girls. The average Nigerian girl is unrepentantly rude, self absorbed,in over her head and lacks a good sense of humour. Your tips would work best when dealing with foreign girls. |

BetWinners: I am not surprised. The man is clearly a self loathing black person.People like him create a negative spin to everything black people achieve. He even referred to Iranians as Arabs when they are Persians.Arabs innovate nothing.Their wealth comes from the oil in their soil which has led to corruption on steroids in their region . I didn't even bother reading the whole thing cos it would have been a waste of my time. I got so many priorities in my life and questioning the motives and importance of BBN definitely isn't one of them. Like it or not,BBN has improved the lives of it's so many contestants in so many ways that even our so called government cant boast of. Leave matter for Mathias jare |

SirToby: The guy is a tough boxer. He gave Joshua much problem prior to the knockout. . I do understand. What I don't like is when people doubt the guy especially since he's gonna fight Wilder soon. What I keep hearing is 'I'll only take him serious if he can beat takam, parker, now,Povetkin''. The supposed hardest challenge was even easier to overcome than the former bouts because it required lesser rounds . Anyway, one thing is certain :Joshua WILL DEFEAT Wilder. |

dopeJemi: It is sad the way we think in this part of the world. An armed robber will wear a suit one day and we will call him responsible just because he is wearing a suit. I remember how responsible my aunt saw her neighbor's house keeper just because he was always on shirt and trousers, low cut, no beards, until armed robbers came to rob his boss' house and stole his car and it was discovered that it was the same house keeper that called and sent them. It's just sad and pathetic how we think in this country. . It's so sad my brother. I keep my hair woven most of the time but I end up covering it with a cap whenever I'm on the road to avoid being stopped by the police(Ikorodu things). Upon that the hair go still dey chuk outside sef . According to the average Nigerian who is myopic BTW,a responsible man is one who barbs scodo, trims his beards or is completely hairless facially, wears a suit, maybe a tie and carries a briefcase. That's why we are so gullible in this country. We think we're the smartest but indeed we are as backward thinking as they come. |

Romance › Re: . by COOL10(m): 9:22pm On Sep 20, 2018 |
WizAkzy: Before the sexual revolution undermined it, one of the most popular of rough tactics was the shotgun wedding. This worked best, of course, if the woman had lavished sex on the suitor. All it then took was to get herself pregnant. If he did not then capitulate, if he didn't offer to slave for the nest to which he had already contributed his genes, her father and brothers would arrive with their shotguns and march "the prisoner" to the altar.
It might be wondered why men do not usually tell the truth about courtship. Why don't fathers, and perhaps grandfathers, warn young men about it? Well, male pride for one. The hunting code requires a man to crow from the rooftops about his victories, not his defeats. This means that no husband will be eager to admit that he was tricked, and defeated, and enslaved by his little wife. Secondly, those men who have an interest in declaring the truth, the successful career bachelors, are very few. And even if they bothered to tell the truth, how many men would believe them? The reputation which women have woven for them (as inadequate, undesirable failures whom no woman would marry) would prevent them from being believed. To those conditioned to believe that being a husband is the natural, god-ordained, and happy destiny of every man, a bachelor's account of the perils of courtship would sound like sour grapes.
Thirdly, a sense of futility contributes to men's silence on the topic when they consider all the men who fell into women's traps all through the ages, those who might be tempted to warn others are driven to despair. What's the use? Driven by his craving for progeny, the average man forewarned or not, would still fall where his betters fell. . Interestingly,I read this very book some months back and it definitely opened my eyes to a lot of things and it was also written by a Nigerian . Thankfully I read Estar Vilar before it if not I most likely would have judged him wrongly. It's an eye opener. I'll definitely read it again. |
