tell him to live within his means. He is trying to live a life he can’t afford. He’s 32, not a lost teen. He should know better. 800k is enough for a mid-upper class lifestyle, but he wants to live larger than life. Tell him it’s not by force.
ok, so whats within his means according to you? What should he cut down?
FamilyRe: Is 800k Salary Good To Marry? by cooldood(op): 11:34am On May 27, 2018
Safiaa:
Thats exactly what I was saying. It depends on the lifestyle he wants to live. If he wants to live the big boy lifestyle 800k is nothing, but then we should learn how to live within our financial means. If you don’t have, you don’t have innit! I cannot come and die because I want to live larger than life.

So tell your friend to prioritise his wants from needs, if he wants to get married. “Do I need to live in lekki, or is it something I simply want even though I can’t afford it?” He better face reality.
You mean 25-30% on rent is living beyond financial means? So if you are the girlfriend to such a guy staying in Lekki, you will advise that you two relocate elsewhere (like mainland) or something?

sir I don’t understand this comment.
Rent: 3m per year
Vacation: 2m per year (Air fare and accommodation for 2)
Annual Upkeep: 3m per year
Savings/ Investment: 2m per year

So what is left for school fees when children come?

A camry 2005 is ready to hit the road. If you're a great driver and can meet the following requirements, drop your number.

1) Experienced Uber Driver
2) Rental agreement, to deliver twice a week (Tuesdays and Friday)
3) 2 Guarantors
4) Have a safe place to park the car

Tell me how much you can deliver without sleeping on the steering, without overworking yourself to death

Cheers.
Still available.

Good drivers where are you?
FamilyRe: Is 800k Salary Good To Marry? by cooldood(op): 11:19am On May 27, 2018
Safiaa:
Well it depends on his spending pattern.

People with more money tend to spend more. More bills, higher upkeep, and keeping up with a certain lifestyle. So it completely depends on his mindset. You would think having more money means you’re actually financially stable, it’s the complete opposite for a lot people. 800k may not be enough for him. For him to even ask that question shows that his financial management skills are poor.
Really? So for you, its ok to start a family with the level of rent and school fees running to millions per year? When will the family now buy a very good car and go on vacation twice a year outside 9ja.

I hope you follow the thread.. If you don't collect your assurance deposit.. My brother you are setting yourself up to be F * * ked in the a$$. Which can be very painful, these uber / taxify don't give a sh * t about.. Or maybe you like been f*@ked in the a** . Either way read the thread, a word is always enough for the wise
You see how you expose your"bebeto" attitude.I thought receiving rent upfront is common sense or when did rent become payable backend?I haven't done rental backend with any driver before so I don't know what you're talking about.Except common sense is no longer common.

Carshopper:
Every Driver comes with baggages - be ready to hear stories from drivers on why payment isn't coming through or be ready to hear they popular 'I will pay it within the week'

Every guarantor comes with 'I didnot know he will act that way, I will speak to him ' den the chase starts...

Every police will want to chop inside the money when case is reported

So this circle keeps going round and round. Drivers switch and switch and keep switching.

So security deposit popped up and presently it's working magic ...

Soon guarantors will also be liable to a security deposit and life once again will
stablize and we shall move lagos
I believe its time to be naming and shaming terrible drivers with terrible attitudes. Perhaps a dedicated site will be good. It will save people from dangerous drivers and make others sit up.

Baba i see hell. 2017 was a nightmare but parents and family kept on saying continue but never saw wat i was facing. I had to selfishly preserve my life 1st by running!

Many ladies lack moral upbringing. Pls avoid superficial babes, ladies from rich homes, and most ladies from the south east. They hardly respect thier husbands especially when hes still struggling. Pls date well and for long. Look well o. If not ur better of being single. Our parents time and now is so different
True talk... i tell you even ladies from humble backgrounds are so superficial, i can only imagine those from rich homes. I have always not found ladies from rich homes as marriageable though from time, cos the arrogance will be times 10 that of one from humble background. Its really unfortunate why ladies find it difficult to just regard their husbands the way they worship their pastors/ imams and superiors at work. Is it over familiarity?

Woman trouble! I left my marriage of 1year cos of this. Constant quarells , no peace and issues, inlaw issues, disrespectful wife that always play the victim card, rude, lying and discontented . I was living in hell. If devil use me and if i hit her and she faints na police case. I remembered that my bible says: "It is better to dwell in the desert than in the same house with a problematic woman" (Proverbs 21:19) So i just pack my things jejely when my rent was due to an unknown place. She's cooling her heels in her father's house now grin since then its been peace unlimited. My colleagues at work say am now fatter and fresher kai cheesy
Hmmm..this is educating..bro could you share your experience in more details so about to wed guys like me can learn some things. Also give some advice please.

It is relative to the shape of the lady and experience as well. By the way what's the size length and girthwise.Perhaps the lady isn't into long and big things.

Simplybami:
"Where does it hurt mama?" The little girl whispered into her mother's ears quietly, wishing she could stop pain that was throbbing all over her mother's body. She had a dull pain clouding her forehead which she got when her father pushed her while he was thrashing her mother, but that wasn't important now, her only source of joy was in pain and the only wish she had was to make it all go away.

Her mother's left eye was swollen now, with scars seating gorgeously all over her body, the previous ones and the one she just got from her husband that evening. She didn't reply her daughter, instead she kept thinking of a way to leave the beast of a man she called her husband, he had promised her family that he would never lay a finger on her again after leaving her bedridden for several weeks in the hospital.

Her mother encouraged her to go back to her "man" and fight for her marriage, as if that was an achievement every lady must be proud of. She listened to them and returned after several pleading from both her husband and her parents. Even if she didn't want to go back to her husband, she had to go back for her daughter, their only child, the only source of compensation for all her anguish.

She looked up at her daughter and replied her eventually,"everywhere my baby, everywhere. But it will all end soon". She knew she didn't have much time any longer, she wish she could buy more time and make everything perfect but there was nothing she could do about it. So at night, when mother earth turned into thin air and yearned for her, she tried to fight it but with the gnash on her forehead throbbing viciously and her unsteady heartbeat somersaulting rhythmically, she conceded to go enjoy the serenity forever without hindrance.

So where does this storyline start from, or is it that the woman married a boxing champion who sees her as a punching bag or what exactly led to her 'formerly loving husband' to suddenly turn to a boxing legend? All these half-baked stories to curb domestic violence, you are not dealing with the root cause of the issue...domestic violence stems from a root, deal with the root cause. Women should also stop using the mouths violently on men, when you stop using your mouth 'violently', the men will stop using their 'hands' too. I asked a lady one simple question and she couldnt answer, why do women respect their pastors/ imams, respect their senior colleagues at work, but disrespect the man they married as their husband. Why? Why cant you all respect your husband the way you comport yourselves in church or at work. Or is it a law that women must disrespect their husbands? If your pastors or oga at work give you an instruction to carry out, you whether willingly or reluctantly carry it out, but when your husband does same, you begin to question him with your venom mouths, instead of question him in a loving way.
