Please note that NPD is not gender-biased. Some reasons why people develop the trait over time include: excessive indulgence by single parents while raising them (NPDs) and at the same time extreme way of disciplining them. Most female NPDs were raised by single mothers based on research and they are usually overly pampered and protected during childhood.

I once dated a lady with NPD and it was crazy. She falls into the grandiose type of NPD.

I once worked in a company owned by a man with NPD, he’s also grandiose.

These people are usually very charming from their outward look and they are very cunny and manipulative. They can lie to get you but once they have you, you become a tool in their hands.

There are many personality disorders, we need to all check ourselves, reflect on our attitudes and actions/ inactions.

One other personality disorder that is common among NPD is character disorder, these ones will never accept responsibility for any thing that happened due to their actions/ in actions. This is more common to females. Always looking for someone else to blame and can’t accept responsibility. Some men display same also.

Be alert and attentive to your environment, cos once you marry people with these traits, be ready for a loooooong endurance marathon (if you don’t want divorce).

This is one of the issues I have with some gals- when they already concluded n interpreted a harmless statement over and beyond its meaning- I am not disappointed. How you quickly concluded that by stating my opinion means one is so good, is beyond rational comprehension. This is why I say most of these gals are aggressive, complicated and problematic. Inability to take simple statements the way they are is a problem. Such people are either paranoid on one side or overconclusive in discussions. They serve two roles at the same time- they’re the jury and the defendant at the same time in matters.

People getting married weekly doesn’t mean one has to follow the crowd, cos as people are doing it weekly is the same way the courts are filled with divorce matters but people don’t celebrate divorce cases while some are simply patching things up and just tolerating their partner and hoping one day miracle will happen. For me, marriage is not to be tolerated but rather should be largely enjoyable (not all the time) but the secret is when people of humble hearts meet and understand their roles and endeavor to play their roles well, while sharing similar ideologies in most issues of life with few differences that could be overlooked and tolerated. My take though.

I agree with you and I completely understand no one is perfect. In fact what I look out for is especially a heart that is humble and willing to be groomed. The challenge however is most of these gals are being molded by the social media posts and therefore unable to be teacheable. If you find a mature lady, then you’d have certain expectations but if she’s not meeting up, they are even more difficult to mold. Yet, I believe I’d find the one that will be humble.

I don’t think things will get better rather it will get worse going forward. The moral fabric of the society especially in countries like 9ja has been shattered. Is it social media’s negative use you want to curb or is it the push for gender equality that you want to stop? The solution for individuals is simply to find someone who shares similar ideologies with you and who had solid parental upbringing and also trained him or herself properly. And then try to raise your kids in a proper way.

Sometimes, the challenge is with the quality of females in our environment coupled with their willingness to be groom-able where necessary. For instance, am on a 7-figure income and have been on that since I was 32 last year. However, finding a reasonable Nigerian lady has been the issue. Note, I have related with foreign babes while I was outside the country and I could simply see that Nigerian gals are aggressive, not very patient/ calm and have entitlement mentality. Where these attributes came from, I don’t know. Yet, I keep searching cos I believe in companionship.

Before marriage, a man must have a vision for his life and therefore his family. So that there is one voice in a home, there has to be a vision both the man and woman are pursuing together. From my experience till date, women have become more of cry babies and more of kids in adult bodies.So when you hear all sorts from a woman, to a large extent perhaps she’s exaggerated things. A lot of women have become manipulative these days and when they contribute a penny to the upkeep of the home, they use emotional blackmail to paint it like as if they’ve dropped millions- you know how it is when a woman drops money like this, she’d go and record it somewhere and create a song out of it, if possible the whole world will hear.

Let’s ask a question: how many women are responsible for the rent of the house? Any woman that’s responsible for the rent of the house she lives with her husband,good luck to her. Marriage has never changed and will never change, it’s the actors of marriage that have changed. Marriage continues to remain a Godly institution even if the parties involved have bastardized it.

Before now, virginity was cherished, today the actors before marriage don’t value that again. In my own little experience, I hate women with passion, not because of anything but how they are so manipulative and desperate to get attention from a guy they think is their ideal man annoys me.
