timyoghurt: golden doctor I eventually went to king's college today after much interrogation the director told me they could offer me 30k and I declined with immediate alacrity so he asked me how much I wanted and I said at least 50k for a start and that was the deal he later asked if I will be able to cope in that kind of environment since it's not in the heart of the city I said yes in As much as there is maximum security,light,internet,etc as in some basic amenities although the school is cool and also in a cool environment. accommodation inclusive. thanks

I will draw a conclusion based on xtfield who advertised, willing to give accommodation for a year after which you leave and remuneration was 20k. The pay could be above that of xtfield.

In this case, the accommodation is like forever and am guessing it is aboarding school, not quite sure. Although advert says salary is VERY ATTRACTIVE, when you get their on Monday or Tuesady you will decide if you will like to take the job or not.

Givemejoy: Yes, you can especially around Iyana-Ipaja, Agbado, Abule -Egba most especially if they are boarding schools. However, schools like that would want experience hands(my thoughts).

If I may advice, it is better you get in your area than having "INTENTIONS" of coming down to Lagos. Please do make effort to look within and around you environs you will definately see, even if the pay is fair, that it above the minimum wage.

I av one here already but nt paying well. And some other factors triggered my intention to relocate down to lagos.
Wouldn't mind if i can get some of those schools mail addy in order to apply, saving me the cost of transportatn.

MaziOmenuko: I believe the article says the charges will be on a 4th withdrawal within same month. Proper planning will save you the stress and charges of using an ATM 4 times in a month.

Honestly, most ATM outside the bank premises don't have cash on weekends because the banks don't see any need to fund their machines for others to use it up. This new policy will encourage banks to open more outlets and it will be easier for us the users.

U took this out of my mouth. The no charges policy has made the ATM services so poor.
No cash in some outlet during weekends.
No building of ATM centers aside bank premises anymore. And many more ATM challenges.

All these happening just because the banks aren't making money tru ATM.

manie: Accommodation is provided by very few employers of labour in Lagos, but schools in Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry and other satellite towns do provide accommodation for the their teachers.

bobbyL: As a graduate, you do not need to begin with ATS, you can start from Knowledge level and even have some exceptions depending on your course of study.

Chicjennie: I'm a graduate of B.Sc Economics & MBA Accounting yet I started from Foundation (now Knowledge level). Had an exemption only in Economics. Only Accounting graduates are lucky when it comes to exemptions (as they usually begin from PE 1) but trust me, in d PE1 lectures I attended, those who started from Foundation or ATS have greater advantage over fresh accounting graduates.

Chicjennie: ATS 1 (4 papers) --> ATS 2 (4 papers) --> ATS 3 (4 Papers)--> Application Level (4 papers) --> Professional Level (5 papers). D fees marginally keep increasing with about N3,500 in each level & Of course, U need to pay for each Level. Abeg no fear O. I started from Foundation with my B.Sc and now I'm heading for d Professional Level... It's a Phase but determination is of paramount importance.

Chicjennie: U'd begin from ATS 1. Their exam comes up March & September every year. This year's exam is slated for September 16th & 17th. U'd need to pay registration fees- N6k before paying for exams. Exam fee is N20,750 for 4 papers. U can go to ICAN website to find out more details.

Chicjennie: Use ur WAEC result to apply. Check ICAN website for the necessary steps. But U must have at least 5 credits (English & Maths inclusive) at one sitting. Good Luck!
