Harming others is wrong because we are intelligent creatures with brains that are complex enough to give us emotion. One of such emotions is know as empathy.

Empathy is necessary for social creatures like man to help those in need and for us to not cause harm to our fellow humans.

But you're missing point. I'm saying that homosexuality causes no harm and I'm asking you to show me why it is wrong.

PS: Sometimes the victims of paedophilia do not know they are being harmed until they are mature enough to understand the emotional damage that they have being carrying.

Every living organism can be broken up into amino acids. Amino acids are the building block of life. Although research is still far from complete, scientists believe that the atmospheric conditions of the earth before life would have been able to produce these amino acids.

How these acids made the jump to become living organisms is still unknown. But there is an organism which possesses some characteristics of living things and some of non-living things, they are called viruses.

Furthermore, if you feel that a man must be with a woman, what exactly is that going to accomplish? Who is that law protecting? I'll really like to know why.

Also, biologically speaking, homosexuality is a great feature for a specie in order to prevent its population from exploding beyond what the ecosystem can accomodate.

Let me tell you about my moral compass. It's not long and it doesn't have arbitrary rules. It goes something like:
Do not harm another individual physically, mentally, emotionally, or socially. Also, do not harm people indirectly by polluting the environment, messing up the ecosystem, cheating in examinations, etc
Do not cause unnecessary harm to animals.
The rules above are not absolute, there are exceptions such as things like self-defense.

Let's start with evolution.
For evolution to be true some conditions have to be met, one of such is that the fossils of organisms will become more primitive the deeper we go into the earth' crust, with the most primitive species at the deepest layers and the most recent at the topmost layers.

Let's set this straight (no pun intended ):
1. Homosexuality: Consensual sex between consenting parties who are of the same sex.
This, I'm ok with.

2. Paedophilia: Sexual attraction by an adult to prepubescent individuals.
This, I'm not ok with because one party is too physically and emotionally immature to give consent.

3. Hebephilia: Sexual attraction to pubescent minors.
This, I'm not ok with because one party is too emotionally immature to give consent.

4. Bestiality: Sexual attraction to animals.
This is not ok because animals are too neurologically impaired to give consent.

So there it is. I hope you can see why I distinguish homosexuality from perversion. Because as long as it is consensual, then nobody (or animal) is getting abused physically or emotionally.

I have no problem with atheists, I respect t the courage they bring up to stand for who they are, such courage is worthy of emulation. But most of these Nigeria atheists still go to church, pray to God and then come on social media to say blasphemy just to impress people to keep their social flame igniting. There are several social stigmas attached to atheism. You may lose friends, people will give you disapproving glances if it becomes common knowledge, it would be difficult to find a job or a spouse, if a theft or some form of crime is committed you'll probably be the first person to be accused.

Not everybody can put up with that. I, for one am a closeted atheist who lives with very christian parents; I would not my future or my well-being by telling parents that I'm atheist because I can't predict their actions. So, I will wait till I'm financially independent before I come out.

Social media gives us an anonymous platform to air our views in a region where freedom of speech isn't all that free. And yes, some of us get carried away and become trolls but some are basically fountains knowledge.

So the fact that some atheists put up a religious front in real life doesn't mean that they're just doing it for attention (although some probably are, who knows?

Let me tell you a story,

Bob is in love with a girl named Alice. Everyday will come to Alice's doorstep with chocolate and flowers to proclaim his undying love for her. Sometimes Alice will tell him to leave but most of the time she will ignore him. He would even mow her lawn and watch her gate at night, all to no avail.

This story is an analogy to christian mythology. Even if by some off chance that all this is true is God (Bob in this story) a moral character that should be followed.

The whites used christianity to endorse slavery, the Dutch Reformative church used it to justify apartheid, Adolf Hitler, the man responsible for the death of 1.6 million Jews (just the jewish casualties) in WWII was christian.
