This is very interesting but maybe Coca Cola has refused to settle the AG's office. It is rare to see the AG concerning himself about serious issues like this. Mtn and other foreign companies keep ripping us off everyday and despite the tons of complaints the AG's office never even bats an eyelid. This case will never lead anywhere...they will settle it behind the scenes as usual while the consumers are literally hung out to dry. smh

In fact in Yoruba there's different meanings for the word "ara" depending on the inflection/intonation. Examples are:

2015 election is fast approaching and it baffles me how people are already chanting PDP, APC and others even though no party has declared anybody their flag bearer. What is the rationale behind our vote? or what should we look at, before we cast our vote? Will it be based on the political party or the flag bearer of the party?

I sent money to a friend's account yesterday morning, 8th oct, 2014, to help pay acceptance fee for my younger sister. She went to the ATM machine, somewhere in Imo state to withdraw the money. The amount was charged in her account, but the ATM machine did not dispense any money.
Please how can you be of help, as this acceptance fee needs to be paid urgently.

Hello Landers, what's your best-ever Nigerian/Nollywood Movie?
Mine is Oleku by Tunde Kelani...its a very old movie but its my #1 Nigerian movie.. very interesting film featured great Tafa Tomilola of university of ife, Shina peter, simply saka/i don port(Afis Oyetoro), Lere Paimo and so many other great artistes. I have the part one and two, downloaded it from youtube by the help of a pc software, YTD Video downloader.

The movie, Oleku is an adaptation of Prof. Akinwunmi Ishola’s novel of the same name.  Oleku was released by Mainframe Film and Television Productions in 1997.  The movie tells the story of Ajani, a final year student of the University of Ibadan who is in search of a life partner due to pressures from his mother.  He soon finds himself in a quandary as he becomes involved with three beautiful women- ASAKE, his beautiful old time girl friend who has just finished sixth form and teaches in a school in town; LOLA, a pretty, tall, slim and dark first year student he just met; and finally SADE, a childhood acquaintance who gradually and fortuitously gets promoted to the centre stage of the love drama.

The movie was set in the 1970s, as such, every element reflects just that.  Hence, the old vehicles, buildings, costumes, hair-dos and props.  In the movie, all the characters are dressed in the old attires that were worn in the period the story represents.  During the period of its public release and for some years after, Oleku sparked a fashion revolution in Nigeria particularly with the short Iro and Buba which people began to call Oleku.

finally agreed to free all the Chibok girls for 18
sect commanders currently in detention.

3.Selection of settings, etc

To go through all this procedure will normally last at least a year.

But here, it is evident that movie can be done within two months.

I wonder what the fate of Nigeria and other african country's fans would have been if the Ebola outbreak happens weeks or at least a month before world cup... What do you think?

OPD, WAPA, the Lagos

Protection Agency and
Public Relations Officer of
the Lagos State Public
Advice Centre, Mr. Alex
Omorondion.
The letter, which was said
to have been written by
Toppan’s counsel, Mr.
Toyin Pinhero, asked that
the meeting be
postponed till January 16,
2014, to enable Pinhero
attend the meeting as he
was reportedly out of the
country at the moment.
Rotimi, in her response to
the letter said, “We did
not invite Toppan as a
company to come for this
meeting; the allegation is
against an individual,
Noine, and not Toppan.
Noine could still have
attended this meeting
because he is in Nigeria;
he is on bail. Even if there
is no representative of
Toppan here, Noine
should have honoured
the invitation.”
The OPD director then
informed the unidentified
employee from Toppan
that the meeting would
be rescheduled to a time
that would be convenient
for everyone present.
