Ngwakwe: You misunderstood me, I regard conjugal biological children as equal to adopted children in all respect.

Both parents are bonded beyond death by a child. As in Until death do us path.

How are they equal, bro?

tellwisdom: I have been hearing this pistorious for some time now…Please what exactly is pistorious?? sad
Oscar Pistorious (amputated both legs) is a South African athlete who won gold in the last paralympic and made history becoming the first and only disable to have participated in the main Olympic. On valentine's day, he killed his girl with a gun(4 shots), and he is claiming that he mistook his gf for a burgler. His case is presently in court. I believe you can follow the case from here. Goodluck.

A Councillor who was once
the highest-paid in the UK
has made the startling
claim — that he slept with
an Arsenal footballer.
Brian Coleman, who calls
himself the ‘King of Bling’,
made the bizarre revelation
about his séx life in a blog
post.
The openly gay councillor
refused to give any hint as to
the player’s identity from the
Premiership team, other
than saying he was a striker.
Mr Coleman, 51, used to be
the mayor of Barnet in North
London and now serves as
an independent on the
Council.
His unusual claim last week
appeared in a unrelated
posting on Barnet FC’s plans
to move stadiums.

Foreign Affairs / Re: What Do You Think Of Oscar Pistorious' Explanation? by Cornel88(m): 4:33pm On Feb 20, 2013
Thank God that the defence counsel is not claiming that their client is/was mentally incapacitated. In that case, if a man like Oscar Pistorious could premeditatedly killed his girlfriend with FOUR shots, then the prosecution should investigate if there is anything that could have warranted him to do so. Maybe Pistorius prefered things this way than the world should know about something, maybe something the girlfriend was about to uncover. Who knows... Possible.

coogar: his explanation makes loads of sense......
this is why he's likely to be bailed tomorrow when the court proceeds. he's disabled and he was without his prostheses when he got up in the night to close the windows. a man without his artificial legs who perceives there's an intruder in his house would feel vulnerable. getting his gun and shooting is very reasonable!

Into the hospital at Pisco (Peru)
came a tired, ragged Indian
woman from the foothills of the
Andes. She led by the hand a shy
little girl, scarcely three feet tall,
with chestnut braids and an
enormously bulging abdomen.
Pointing to the frightened child,
the Indian woman begged
Surgeon Geraldo Lozada to
exorcise the evil spirits which
had taken possession of her.
Certain that little Lina Medina had
an abdominal tumor, Dr. Lozada
examined her, and received the
surprise of his life when he
discovered she was eight
months pregnant, making her
the world's youngest mother
ever.
Dr. Lozada took her to Lima, the
capital of Peru, prior to the
surgery to have other specialists
confirm that Lina was in fact
pregnant. A month and a half
later, on May 14, 1939, she gave
birth to a boy by a caesarean
section necessitated by her
small pelvis . The surgery was
performed by Dr. Lozada and Dr.
Busalleu, with Dr. Colretta
providing anaesthesia. Her case
was reported in detail by Dr.
Edmundo Escomel to La Presse
Medicale, along with the
additional details that her
menarche had occurred at 8
months of age, and that she had
had prominent breast
development by the age of 4. By
age 5 her figure displayed pelvic
widening and advanced bone
maturation.

Sports / Re: Man Dies Watching Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast by Cornel88(m): 6:13am On Feb 05, 2013
Haven read almost all the replies on this post, i still can't fine where anybody liked the death of this man as a result of
"excessive intake of
carbondioxide", according to a medical doctor who probably must have checked on the man. We alway have a way of linking situations like this to be as a result of a Nigeria match, especially when it happened coincidentally with a missed chance. Investigations even showed that the viewing centre is poorly ventilated, which is already a hazard to human beings how much more somebody like the man in the topic, with his condition. May his soul rest in peace.

Indian doctors are studying an 83-year-old holy man who claims to have spent the last seven decades without food and water. Military doctors hope the experiments on Prahlad Jani can help soldiers develop their survival strategies. The long-haired and bearded yogi is under 24-hour observation by a team of 30 specialists during three weeks of tests at a hospital in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad. Two cameras have been set up in his room, while a mobile camera films him when he goes outside, guaranteeing round-the-clock observation. His body will be scanned and his brain and heart activity measured with electrodes. “The observation from this study may throw light on human survival without food and water,” said Dr. G. Ilavazahagan, who is directing the research. “This may help in working out strategies for survival during natural calamities, extreme stressful conditions and extra-terrestrial explorations like future missions to the Moon and Mars by the human race.” Since the experiment began on April 22, Jani has had no food or water and has not been to the toilet.

“The exercise of taking this yogi under the medical scanner is to understand what energy supports his existence,” Ilavazahagan added. “Jani says he meditates to get energy. Our soldiers will not be able to meditate, but we would still like to find out more about the man and his body.” Jani, who dresses in red and wears a nose ring, grew up in Charod village in the Mehsana district in Gujarat. He claims to have been blessed by a goddess when he was 8-years-old, which has enabled him to survive without sustenance.

Politics / Mali Crisis: Nigeria Spends $34m. by Cornel88(m): 3:42pm On Jan 29, 2013
Nigeria has so far committed
about $34million (about
N7billion) towards the
deployment of troops and
logistics support to the
Malian Crisis with an
additional pledge of $
5millionin further assistance.
President Goodluck Jonathan,
who made this disclosure at
the Donors’ Conference
organized at the end of the
20th Ordinary Session of the
African Union Summit in
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on
Tuesday, also revealed that
900 combat soldiers and 300
Air Force personnel are
already on ground in Mali as
part of the African-led
International Support
Mission in Mali (AFISMA).
According to the president,
Nigeria’s commitment was
an expression of Nigeria’s
desire to restore normalcy in
Mali, noting that the country
has undertaken the re-
construction and
refurbishment of a number
of medical clinics in the
military barracks of some of
the Malian Defence and
Security Forces, as part of the
Security Sector Reform (SSR)
intervention to the tune of
US$5.5 million.
