searchiing4love:
Fayose was wrong to enact such laws in the first place. The fulanis have the right to live and work in ekiti just like every other Nigerian. Why ban their business of cattle rearing when they have no other means? Why criminalize the fulanis as if all fulanis are killers? There are bad eggs amongst every tribe, why do we make it look like violence is exclusive to northerners only. The people we should frown at are cattle rustlers who steals cattle from fulanis and use them as disguise for their evil deeds. The fulanis are peaceful people who go about their business in peace and we all know they control their herds of cattle with mere sticks. Even though we call them primitive, how many southerner can rear cattle for national consumption like the fulanis? Without them how do we see beef to consume? The rustlers are armed terrorist escaping from the north east to the south. What fayose should have done is to forbid any herdsmen from moving around with weapons, not banning cattle rearing completely. If all states cooperated with the FG on creation of grazing reserves throughout the country, there will not be a single cattle left on the streets looking for grass. Instead we chastised president Buhari's brilliant policy in the name of islamization. The ripple effects are the incessant attacks by the rustlers. The grazing bill remains the best and safest option. Not unnecessary bans sad

Having painstakingly tried to read up your incomprehensible and insufficient laborious argument that exposed how far you are with civilization due to your fossilized ignorance, I can not help but pity your ignominious state cum your certification in stupidity. Understand issues and contents before exhibiting your overflowing garment of foolishness.

Well having taken time to see almost all sides of the arguments and got to a point where I started asking myself what the real issue here and truly I couldn't find one. One thing that I don't fathom is how most lovers of Mr. President over zealously form votron around anything that has to do with him.Try saying Mr President is not going the right direction you see some who wouldn't allow you land your point before attacking you. I know how old I am now and those long and short years I have seen pet named anything and God remained God. Even of very clear cases to most of us our past President GEJ was called a lot of names and God remained God. The question now is why should Buhari's be an issue, to the extent NPF waded in faster than lightening. Lets be fair and truthful to ourselves.

Sports / Good News For Arsenal Fans: I Am Ready To Spend- Arsene Wenger by Cornel88(m): 2:35pm On Aug 18, 2016
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hit back Thursday at suggestions he is afraid to spend in the transfer market amid concerns the Gunners are losing ground to other leading Premier League clubs.

The north London club, who were last crowned Premier League champions back in 2004, are estimated to have cash reserves in the region of £200 million ($263 million, 232 million euros).

But their only signing this summer has been that of Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka for a reported £30 million from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

That is in stark contrast to the transfer activity elsewhere, including Manchester United’s world-record £89 million move to bring the French midfielder Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford from Juventus amid several signings.

With centre-backs Gabriel and Per Mertesacker injured, veteran French manager Wenger decided against recalling defender Laurent Koscielny, as well as Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil, for Sunday’s Premier League opener against Liverpool after they were all involved at Euro 2016.

– Buying not the only way –

As a result, the fledgling partnership of Calum Chambers and Rob Holding started in a 4-3 defeat — a result that raised fresh questions about the strength of Arsenal’s defence and the scope of their ambition amid accusations they’ve ‘settled’ for finishing in the top four and a place in the Champions League

But Wenger, speaking ahead of Arsenal’s trip to champions Leicester City on Saturday, said: “You (the media) are absolutely convinced that I do not want to spend the money, but I reassure you we are ready to spend the money.

“Buying calms the fans, of course, but we have to make sure…it is important to spend money but we have to spend it the right way,” the 66-year-old, in charge of Arsenal since 1996, added.

“What I fight against is to think that the only way in football to deal, is to buy.

“It is right when you need the players and you identify the players and we are not scared to spend money, but to buy in itself is not a quality but to buy the good players is a quality, and I think this club has been built on that.

“We had great success in the last 20 years in improving our structures and the main thing is based on a transfer policy.”

Wenger did try to sign striker Jamie Vardy from Leicester, only for the England forward to decide to sign a new contract with the Midlands club.

“You have to respect the decisions of people and that’s part of it and I think on every transfer market you have one or two who have decisions to make and you have to respect them,” he said.

“I don’t think he has something special against us, I don’t see why he would.”

Arsenal beat Leicester home and away last season but still finished 10 points behind the shock champions.

Leicester started the defence of their Premier League crown with a surprise 2-1 loss away to Hull City last weekend and Wenger said: “The challenge for them is to do well again and to show that their last year was not a one-off.

“They need to be capable of challenging and will need to be to show if they can be considered as one of the top teams in England.”

My MD Has Done The Worst, Please I Need Your Advise

My name is Sewa, I work in an hotel at Iyana Ipaja as a bar supervisor. Am a graduate of Lapostech (HND). I work 24 hours because of the nature of my job and its a day off and on, meanwhile mine has been 3 days on and one day off because I make more money than others. Before I got to this hotel as a staff, they make lesser than I make now. Per day, my target is 100k but I make 130k at worst because we have club in the hotel as well.
It happened on friday when a customer wanted to buy a wine and I was eating before the customer came in, I was still chewing my meat when the customer came in and I tried to attend to the customer with the meet in my mouth because I do not want to delay him. In that process, my Managing Director came in and slapped me 2times in the presence of customers and even guys that were making wooing me, his reason was that I attended to a customer while eating. We not have break time in this my place of work o.
He slapped me and I worked away to continue my work but I want to revenge. I do not want my silence to be in vain.
My manager has been begging me not to resign because I dropped my resignation letter that day. He is begging me to come back.
What would you do if you were in my shoes?

If you have a reliable witness/evidence and you can afford a good lawyer, resign on the ground that you were slapped, then sue the hotel and make them pay.

Science/Technology / Nigerian, Aghogho, Builds Mini Aircraft (Picture &video) by Cornel88(m): 9:33pm On Jan 30, 2016

The power of the mind and how much it can achieve is seen in the act of Aghogho, a young man without a degree, who read how aircrafts are made and brought it to life.

“I have not been to any school, I do my research at home” Aghogho said.

Aghogho’s first aircraft flew in 1999 with many setbacks since then

After many failures, he started to think there was something spiritual about things that fly

According to Elbert Hubbard, in these days, a man who says a thing cannot be done is quite apt to be interrupted by someone doing it.

There is much the mind can achieve if we go after the information we need to do whatever we want to do.

Aghogho has become a ray of hope for many; young and old in his community

Watch Aghogho’s aircraft fly. Enjoy the video.

Politics / Re: Legal Proof That Stealing Is Different From Corruption. by Cornel88(m): 5:37am On Jun 14, 2015
My opinion: Corruption may be different from stealing, but stealing is still corruption. Further, stealing is corruption, but corruption may not necessarily mean stealing.

Corruption is a general name for abuse of due process, no matter how immaterial the act is.

It is an umbrella that covers many wrong act such as rape, bribery, looting, denial of right, child abuse, STEALING, etc.

For example, if you want a jean trousers, what you do is to earn money, not the wrong way, go to the market and buy (due process). But some corrupt people will rather look around to see how they can steal another persons own (abuse of due process). Hence stealing is corruption.

Again, if you want to pass your exams, prepare yourself by studying, and sit for the exam (due process). But some persons would rather bribe their way to exam success (abuse of due process); a corrupt act, but not stealing.

Once again, my opinion.
