You're misinterpreting the Bible that you're reading. A word about the “slap” that Jesus says we should endure. Jesus here speaks of personal slights of any kind. The slap (or the “smiting,” as the KJV has it) does not have to involve literal, physical violence. Even in our day, a “slap in the face” is a metaphor for an unexpected insult or offense. Did someone insult you? Let him, Jesus says. Are you shocked and offended? Don’t be. And don’t return insult for insult. Turn the other cheek. At no time was Jesus telling you to turn the other cheek when someone comes to kill you otherwise, you would NOT be alive to turn the other cheek. Can a dead person turn the other cheek? Absolutely NOT. It's only a living person who can turn the other cheek. So, my friend, you do NOT even understand the Bible that you're quoting. If Jesus Chris meant turning the other cheek in the face of death, HE would never have said to turn the other cheek. There would be no point in turning the other cheek because you would be dead!

I asked you a simple question to show me where in your own specific Bible it says that you should NOT defend yourself from an enemy who came to kill you but to keep praying. Instead of answering the question, which I know you can NEVER answer if you're honest with yourself, you tried to sidestep it. The genesis of this whole conversation is how Christians should defend themselves from attacks or violence. I and most reasonable people including the white man who brought Christianity to you are of the opinion that it's your God-given right to defend yourself from any attacks no matter who the perpetrator is. But you on the other hand along with the majority of African Christians especially Nigerians believe that you should do nothing but only pray to GOD to come from heaven to fight for you when your life is in peril. That my friend, is a misguided understanding of GOD's teachings! Like I said earlier, you believe what you believe until your life is taken from you.
