If you claim to know something you should be able to prove why that thing is so, I'm not asking you of your belief sir, if it were belief I won't be asking you of proof sir.

What you pointed out as my conclusion is just what I feel or believe personally about soul, it can change provided the right person presents a body of proof on why I should discard my believe about it, and when that proof is presented to me, I won't be having just believe but core knowledge about what a soul is.
