Where did the real Jesus, God's son condemn herbs and medicines? Didn't God create herbs and other medicinal herbs through Jesus? How were the Jews treating themselves before Jesus came? Were they not using their traditional methods to treat illness? Did Jesus even heal every sick person available in his time? So I'll say it again, using herbs and drugs for my treatment is not sin. Jerryhare: You aren't a true Christian, you should take that. Where Does Herbalism Come From? Jeremiah 10:2 to “Learn not the way of the heathen.” If you research herbal medicine for any length of time, you’ll likely come across ideas that clash with Christianity. Nature worship, witchcraft, occult practices, and more are all connected with herbalism. Shaman, pagan, and other spiritual traditions have used herbs in one way or another, sInce none of these traditional herbal frameworks are found in the Old or New Testament, Christians must stay away from it Even today, the vast majority of professional herbalists and herbal teachers are not professing Christians. Their faiths, or lack thereof, might range from more familiar religions like Islam, Hinduism, or Buddhism to lesser-known systems like witchcraft, nature worship, paganism, atheism, etc If past pagan cultures used herbs for healing and ritual, and if the herbalism of today is so steeped in anti-Christian teachings, then HERBALISM IS SINFUL, stay away from it! How's herbalism sinful? |

ANTIlSLAM: You can ask your colonial masters in USA since they are also Christians and founder/Presidents of your occultist religion, JWs So you can't comprehend the little note I sent to you if Luke was a Physician or not? Is your eye working perfectly sha?? Send your frustration to www. bbc.com Shey babaláwos in your village DON'T deal with ewé òogùn? E.g. the one in your village is a traditional herbalist See confusion but you said herbalist is not a babaláwo. Your own confusion is bigger than that of your brother Which kind of medicine? Your own Christians in your occultist religion, JWs can consult a herbalist for healing and deliverance. DIVINE HEALING is what Jesus Christ taught and not the onísègùn treatment and healing methods your colonial masters in USA brainwashed you with inside your kingdom hall Yòrùbá 1 Peter 2:24 Ẹniti on tikararẹ̀ fi ara rẹ̀ rù ẹ̀ṣẹ wa lori igi, pe ki awa ki o le di okú si ẹ̀ṣẹ ki a si di ãye si ododo: nipa ìnà ẹniti a mu nyin larada. If you hear any JW say it's okay for a Christian to consult a herbalist, what they mean is that someone that deal with medicinal herb to cure people. ANTIlSLAM: This is all you need to know about St. Luke, if you can go through it, you'll be saved and help your brother to answer the questions therein Luke was a Gentile who followed the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He did not know Jesus Christ personally, He became a follower after the Lord's death, when Paul taught him the gospel. Luke who was by race an Antiochian and a physician by profession, was long a companion of Paul, and had careful conversation with the other Apostles. Luke had the distinct honour of being the only non-Jewish writer of the New Testament. If that is the case, then it would rule out Church traditions that identified him with Lucius, to understand this better read Acts 13:1; Rom. 16:21. He implied in the introduction to his gospel that he had not seen the Lord, but rather, heard about events in the life of the Lord Jesus from other eye-witnesses. Luke took advantage of this time in the Land of Israel (cf. Matt. 2:21) and visited the sites in Jerusalem, Samaria, Perea, and Galilee where the Lord Jesus had ministered and interviewed the people who had seen and heard the Lord Jesus. I am sure he spent time in Nazareth talking with Mary, the mother of the Lord Jesus, and obtained the details of the birth of the Lord Jesus from her. The account in Luke 1 and 2 was written in medical language. He stopped in Naim to interview the widow woman’s son who was raised from the dead (Luke 7:11-17), an account that only Luke recorded and was a medical miracle! Luke did not record anything about his medical center or what transpired on the island when he and the Apostle Paul landed on the island on their way to Jerusalem at the end of Paul’s third missionary journey. Bible is silent as to when or where Luke came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour. We do know that the Apostle Paul did not lead him to the Lord; otherwise, he would have called him his son in the faith. Luke considered prayer important When he wrote his gospel, he recorded a number of instances where Jesus prayed or talked about prayer. However, he recorded eight instances that were unique to his gospel, and not in the other three gospels. The Lord Jesus prayed at His baptism (3:21); at the Transfiguration (9:28-29); before choosing His apostles (6:12); for His enemies on cross (23:34, “Father, forgive them”); for His disciples to learn the lesson on prayer (11:1); and talked about prayer in the parable of the persistent friend (11:5-10); as well as two other parables on prayer (18:1-14): the widow and the unjust judge, as well as the Pharisee and tax collector when they were in the Temple praying. Dr. Luke was a man of prayer and thought the subject matter important. The question again is since you're only Christians in your occult religion and followers of Christ and NOT followers of St. Luke while Catholic missionaries that built the hospital that attended to your health challenges were politicians, why praising traditional medicines for healing than Faith healing through Jesus Christ, is your own Jesus in your occultist religion not mighty to heal your diseases and sicknesses? Including your colonial masters in USA, they can also engage themselves in rituals 1. Frederick William Franz 2. Milton George Henschel 3. Nathan Homer Knorr 4. C. T. Russell 5. J. F. Rutherford 6. Do Alden Adams 7. William Henry Continue wallowing in your ignorant, the picture below is enough to teach you a great lesson How did "Oníṣègùn" enter the Bible? Was Luke Oníṣègùn (physician) or not? It's obvious that the reporter erroneously thought that herbalist means Oníṣègùn. It doesn't also mean that all herbalist are ritualist. Get this definition straight; ¶Babalawo is an ifa priest. ¶Herbalist is just someone that deals in medicinal herbs. Ps: a person could be a herbalist and also be a Babaláwo or witch at the same time. ¶A physician (Oníṣègùn) is a doctor that has general knowledge in medicine. So a Christian can consult someone that deals with herbs, a herbalist. |

So a real Christian can consult a herbalist. There's nothing wrong in it. But a Christian can't consultant a babalawo or any person that is a spiritist.Building hospital by catholic missionaries that saves his life doesn't make catholic missionaries Christians but visiting babaláwo is what that makes you Christians in your occultist religion, JWs Stop mixing things up abeg. JWs are not taught to consult babaláwos. So one of the fruit of your own holy spirit in your occultist religion, JWs is to engaged babaláwo for healing and deliverance right? Calm down. Actually about the hospital issue, all you need to do is put away your arrogance and agree with him that building hospitals is not one of the fruits of the holy spirit or the assignment Jesus gave his disciples. They are occultist because their own religion, JWs DON'T condemned traditional medicines, their own religion can visit babaláwo for healing and deliverance since they are not against traditional medicines All you need is just a small search on Google. Traditional medicine doesn't link with witchcraft, sorcery, spiritism etc. It just a old local way of treating people before the emergence of modern medicine. The Chinese, Europeans, native Americans etc. have it. There was a nurse in our area in Ondo state, she was very skilled in making herbs and people patronised her. She attended a Pentecostal church. She never did rituals or make charm for anyone. My mother ever patronised her once and her service was quite expensive. She was just skilled in using traditional medicines (various herbs) to cure diseases. She died last year though. So I'll say again, JWs don't do anything that Jehovah detest or against the Bible, Jehovah God's Word.

ANTIlSLAM: So in your kingdom hall you have babalawos, Olúwo, Apènà, etc as your members for supporting idolism act abi? Thought you're only Christians in JWs while others are politicians? Your own Christians in your occultist religion, JWs have grace and privilege to visit babalawo for healing and deliverance right? Is that what your Jesus in your occultist religion book taught you abi? Make I explain this to you once and for all. JWs don't engage in anything that is magical or links with demons. They don't do spiritism, divination, magic, witchcraft etc. I'm not a JW but I'm currently studying with them. I have learnt in one of the studies that entertaining oneself with movies that has witchcraft/spiritism/magical contents is sin against Jehovah. I don't watch them again. For example, I stopped watching American Idol magic shows after having that study. So it's very wrong to call JWs occultic and they don't practice anything idolatry or any form of witchcraft. Though there might be some of there members that are occultic or practice witchcraft, there are the bad apples. |
