You already know that whether someone dies as a kid or old man, it was predestined by your god. Why would your god protect something he's predestined to die at a tender age? |

Steep: You have returned, back to my original question where was it written that hell and death would be tormented? It was not written word for word that hell and death will both be tormented but it's explicitly seen from the book of revelations that Satan, the false prophet, those that worship the beast, hell, death etc will be thrown into the same lake of fire. So why would hell a lifeless and unconscious entity be thrown into the lake of fire? Also why would death which is abstract be thrown into the lake of fire? |

Steep: Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. It is written that some creatures would go into the lake of fire to be tormented but is there anywhere it is written that he'll and death would be tormented? No. So why would hell and death be thrown into the lake of fire like other creatures? |

Christianity Etc › Re: How Is God Loving God If He Destroy Humans? by cornelboy(f): 6:38pm On Jun 13, 2022 |
Steep: where does it say hell would be tormented forever? Rather it clearly says sinners would be tormented forever. Revelation 20:14-15 [14]Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. [15]And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire. No be the same lake of fire grave (hell), death and people go burn? It's clearly stated in verse 14 that grave and death will partake in the second death |

Eternal death is not anhilation. Yeah hell (grave) and death too will be tormented and their smoke will rise forever. Rev. 20:14 |

jerryforgood: Jesus never stop or said his followers should not participate in politics. Please stop creating such notion. My kingdom is not of this world does not imply that Christian should stay away from politics. Matthew 11:12, tells us about the kingdom of God suffering violence by the wicked rulers of this world right from the day of John the Baptist till now. Remember John was captured and kill by Herod. Jesus implies in Matthew 11:12 that if Christian don't take the government by force then they will suffer more attack of violence. Let me tell you, these Muslims you see all have an Islamic agenda against the Christian. And if there's no Christian in politics that would be shariah laws be put in place, which would restrict you from serving God. Politics is never a sin in the Bible. It is the lie of the devil for Christian to stay away from politics so he can rule and destroy Christians in particular. Is Matthew 11:12 about the world or Nigeria government? Jesus, Paul, Peter, the rest of Jesus'apostles and the early church, did they participate in politics or were neutral? We know from the Bible that Satan is the God and ruler of this world. So it wouldn't change anything if some Christians joined politics. Besides, they would always fail or become like other diabolical political if they really want to succeed. Politics na your mate abi? |

Steep: It is called Justice. If a judge sentence a murderer to death does that mean the Judge has no love? Certainly not. Justice has to do with what is right and just. God is righteous and holy if he destroy humanity but however out of his mercy he provided away for humans to escape the Justice for their sins without and at the same time execute his justice this is through Jesus christ. God's love was shown to us while Jesus took our identity and paid the price for our sins. In order words God demonstrated his love and justice in christ without contradiction. We could only escape judgment because Jesus took our identity and at the same time God 's love is shown to us. Those who will not accept Jesus would simply bear their sins instead of christ. The wrath of God upon sin is God's justice, Jesus died to save us from the penalty of our sins which is eternal condemnation. A judge could sentence someone to death but not torture him for eternity. |

Raph82: You can as well add this to it "you can't work with any private organization or government set up in Nigeria and be a true Christ-follower" because in these places, heavy politics is being played and most of their policies, visions, and missions all have atoms of diplomacy. To you, a true Christ-follower can't get involved in Nigerian politics, to me, it is possible. Besides the model that Jesus, Peter, Paul and the early Christians left by being politically neutral, a true Christian cannot be actively involved in politics as it is today and remain a true Christian. He could die young. He would certainly not succeed in the politics unless he played it like it's been played today. He's to go dirty no matter what. Na naija we dé. Your not a kid you should know that. |

Newton2024: That Jesus didn't participate in politics doesn't mean politics is bad or sinful. In Jesus'days, there was no democracy but Roman government. Can you say because Jesus did not have children, therefore it is a sin to born children? Well, Jesus's apostles and the early church generally were politically neutral before Constantine took over the church. Jesus commission his disciples to preach the good news of the kingdom throughout the earth. That's what real Christians should be busy with not dirty politics. You can't participate in Nigeria politics and remain a follower of Christ and do God's will. May you have peace. |

Kingofhoes: The early Roman and English church were heavily involved in politics. Dummy Well, were they real Christian? No! Early Christians were persecuted and a Roman leader took over the church and certain man-made doctrines were brought into the church. Pure worship was distorted and here we are today. Jesus will come soon to restore things. We should trust JEHOVAH GOD not human leaders. Humans will always fail. |

achimendy: You're really getting it wrong o, so because jesus christ said my kingdom is not of this world means that believers should not participate in politics. You really need understand o. Great servant of old like Joseph and Daniel, participated in politics, and even worked at the highest echelons of government. And because of them many things changed in Babylon and Egypt, and they also ruled for a very long time. That's the benefit of having God-fearing people in government. You said politics is dirty bla bla, who will then make it right for us animals, angels ,or believers?? Have you ever attended leadership programs in any church? I guess no. Try and attend one, then they will enlighten you on why believers needs to become leaders in all areas of life including politics. I think Jesus should be our role model. The early Christians were politically neutral. Jesus is coming to the earth in the future with his kingdom to restore things. If you want to do politics, you would have to go dirty. Also, church leadership is different from world politics |

Okay, any evidence for that bogus claim? Mbanu! MaxInDHouse and his fellow brainless minions, since they got baptised, have never seen evidence of such claim. None! Ask them this question, they will go into over righteous mode and type incoherent rubbish! No evidence till today! That means anybody can just appear and say Jesus sent them. Their actions so far can only be as a result of Watchtower sacrificing their brains to Lucifer. The demonic influence on these people is strong. Watchtower has turned their brains to Shaft! That useless nonentity has even allowed Watchtower to dissolve his brain cells even as he is yet to be Baptised. So, what will happen to the rest of his brain when he eventually gets baptised? No single common sense will be left again. God forbid! You don talk sense for your eye like this o |

haekymbahd: show us the law which state that a prophet son can't die? My point is that Mohammed's son's death is not a proof that he was the last prophet. Actually the Ahmadiyya Muslims claim that their leader Ahmad was the last prophet after Mohammed based on some verse in the Qur'an that says another prophet named Ahmad will come. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Miracles Of The Prophet Muhammad by cornelboy(f): 8:40pm On Jun 10, 2022 |
haekymbahd: so where are the Abraham descendant now where is Isaac, Jacob, David, Moses e.t.c that was preserved... According to the Quran Muhammad would be the last prophet to come. Allah SWT said: "Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing." (QS. Al-Ahzaab 33: Verse 40)
From the verse it was clear why Muhammad never needed a direct offspring since no prophet will come after him... Mohammed didn't need to be childless before he become the last prophet. You also don't need to have a father that's a prophet before the prophethood is passed to you and then you become a prophet. God can choose anyone to be his prophet. Also every prophet of the Hebrew had a wife and had male kids. Prophethood is not like kingship or political position that could be passed from father to son. |
