If you have not won any war with untrained illiterate boko haram fighting with ak47 is it with south Africa military that has nuclear powered submarines and scud missiles you will win

I am Yoruba and I think South West should back south east for presidency. It is the right thing to do. Yes we supported the north in 2015 does not mean we should forget the principle of rotation for fairness and equity. Please those of my brodas saying south west should take presidency should be careful. I see some northerners tell us south west to produce the next president but if study it well they are trying to divide the south and make the North retain power again. Please let's be mature like we always are and give IBOs our support, it is an opportunity to build unity and a stronger south.

I wonder where you saw the beef in my sentence. Anyways if you know me you would know I am very honest. My two blood siblings and Uncle are doctors, so I can't beef them. See if you have sincere doctors around you, they will tell you the truth about the unfair politics doctors play in the hospital.
AreaFada2:
I can see you have very serious beef with Nigerian doctors. Jeez!

I was once accused here years ago of being a JOHESU member. Because I asserted that doctors should be more considerate towards other professionals. Like it is in advanced countries. At that point I had no idea JOHESU was even. Yet I was accused of being a member.

I think the bad blood on both sides is now so bad that you can never win whatever you say.

You first statement shows a typical understanding of a Nigerian doctor. No one is begging doctors for more power, they are simply saying show some respect, act like a leader not a ruler. Every professional should be allow to function effectively with another hindering them. You must learn that respect is reciprocal and also disrespect is reciprocal
AreaFada2:
The fact is in 9ja most people flout most things.
Give lab scientists more power and they will do worse the other non-medical health care staff.

They are only complaining now because they are not the ones dishing it out.

That was the view of one doctor. Just one. I know 9ja based doctors who treat other professionals very nicely.

In any case I was about 14 years old when a grilling by a highly placed civil servant relative made me decide I will not spend my future in Nigeria. He essentially rubbished my nack for honesty and sticking to the rules too rigidly.
I was lucky enough to realise that as a teenager. In the West every Healthcare staff sees another professional as a team member. Any student beginning clinical training on the wards knows that helping out the nurses with bloods and others is a sure way to have a good time there.

I have never understood why in 9ja they are fighting in the market place.
CrimeRe: Lab Scientists Beat Medical Doctors At UCTH Over Interference by Correcto:
You need to learn a lot. My uncle is a Senior Doctor, a consultant. I once visited him and asked why the so much dispute in the health sector. He simply said the problem is Doctor's greed and lack of respect & team spirit. He said a typical Nigeria Doctor sees him/herself as a ruler. There are many unfair politics played by doctors in the health sector that is not tolerated in the western world. I can't explain it here, just find a honest doctor to explain to you.
AreaFada2:
I do not know about heading all departments but the buck stops with the doctor. He's in overall charge of patient care. The doctor faces the coroner's court when things go wrong.

Certainly with Radiology and Pathology, a medical consultant heads those departments. Because they are medical specialties.

A radiographer or lab scientist will not head those departments typically. This does not in anyway undermine the great job lab scientists and radiographers put in daily.

The demands look good but it is trash with no time frame
vixpal:
The Nigerian government has made two major demands from South Africa in the aftermath of xenophobic attacks in the country.

The businesses of many Nigerians in South Africa have been destroyed, looted or burnt in the past week since xenophobic attacks resumed in the country against foreign nationals.

Before the latest incident, many Nigerians have also been killed in suspected xenophobic attacks by South Africans.

Speaking to journalists after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s foreign affairs minister, Geoffery Onyeama, said Nigeria had made two major demands from the South African government.

He said a special envoy sent by President Muhammadu Buhari to South Africa will focus on the two issues.

“It is just those two key issues, the compensation payment and what security mechanism be put in place to make sure that these kinds of attacks do not recur,” the minister said.

On Tuesday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, described as deeply disturbing the reports that some Nigerians, angered by the xenophobic attacks in South Africa, have started attacking South African companies in Nigeria.

He said that targeting South African companies in Nigeria for attack is, for Nigerians, a classic case of cutting off your nose to spite your face, because the investors in such companies, especially MTN and Shoprite, are Nigerians.

Alhaji Mohammed said the majority of the workers in the South African companies operating in Nigeria are also Nigerians, meaning that its Nigerian workers who will be hardest hit if such companies are forced to shut down for fear of attacks. He assured Nigerians that the Federal Government is already taking decisive measures to put an end to the persistent xenophobic attacks against Nigerians in South Africa.

Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has condemned the recent Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians living in South Africa, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had earlier reported that properties worth millions of naira, and belonging to Nigerians, were set ablaze by South Africans.

A viral video sighted by Igbere TV also showed several shops being looted by the angry South African citizens in their large numbers.

President of the Nigeria Union in South Africa, Adetola Olubajo, said the attacks began on Sunday morning in Jeppestown area of Johannesburg.

Mr Olubajo said in a statement on Monday that the mob “looted several shops that were around the vicinity suspected to be owned by foreign nationals.”

Reacting to the development on his Facebook page, Governor Okowa called on the federal government to rise and protect its citizens.

“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the repeated violent attacks against Nigerians in South Africa. The Federal Government must immediately liaise with the South African authorities to protect the lives and livelihoods of all our citizens. #SayNoToXenophobia”, he wrote.

EXCLUSIVE: Nigerian Embassy Shuts Door On Nigerians Attacked In South Africa
Speaking with Sahara Reporters on Monday, a handful of Nigerians in South Africa revealed how they now live in fear.
BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORKSEP 02, 2019

The Nigerian Embassy in South Africa has shut its door to Nigerian victims of ongoing xenophobic attacks in the former apartheid colony.

The latest attacks against nationals of other African countries domiciled in South Africa, which started on August 28, 2019, has spread to several parts of that country, raising fears of more violence in the coming days.

Speaking with Sahara Reporters on Monday, a handful of Nigerians in South Africa revealed how they now live in fear.

According to them, some victims of the attack, who visited the Nigerian Embassy for help and protection were denied entry into the place.

Former president of Nigerian Union South Africa, Iyke Anyene, told Sahara Reporters that Nigerians had remained in the houses, afraid for their lives and unsure if they would be the next victims.

He said, “In some parts of Guateng Province the looting has continued.

“It started in Pretoria and people have not been able to do their businesses. It is not safe, there is widespread looting.

“Some Nigerian victims went to the high commission but were denied entry into the place.

“The high commission claimed that they are dealing with the situation but we don't know what to do. We need results, people are losing their lives and properties.”

He said migrants from other African countries are also affected in the attacks and looting, adding that the South African police are usually overwhelmed when such attacks happen.

He added, “All African migrants are affected. When it happened in Pretoria, the police was there but couldn’t stop the attack.

“In Johannesburg, they were not able to stop anything. It is a very serious problem at the moment.”

A Nigerian business woman, Doris Ikeri-Solarin, also told Sahara Reporters that she had remained indoors with her family for fear of being killed by South Africans if they go out of their home.

She said, “There is trouble, it is very tough. There is a state of emergency and the violence is still ongoing.

“No one opened shop today, our movement has been restricted.

“In Mabupane, they burnt our shops on Wednesday but we were able to save the ones we have around Sunnyside.

“These people are reinforcing and they are coming out to attack us.”

Ikeri-Solarin faulted the Nigerian Embassy for shutting citizens out at such time of need.

She added, “A baby just died in Marabasa because of the fire. We are at home, we can't go out, our children cannot go to school, Nigerians inside taxis are dragged out and attacked.

“Nigerian Embassy does not exist. Some of our people affected by this attack went to the high commission but the ambassador did not come out. It is a big shame on them.”

Last Wednesday in Japan during the Tokyo International Conference for Africa Development, President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, said that his government will address the killings of Nigerians in his country.

He added that the country's criminal justice system was looking to proffer lasting solutions.

He said, “On the issue of Nigerians who are dying in South Africa, we feel very upset about that.

“Obviously, our criminal justice system is working on it. We don’t support killings.”

But despite his assurances, South Africans have continued to target Nigerians in xenophobic attacks, killing and destroying businesses belonging to them.

In July, President of Nigeria’s Senate, Ahmed Lawan, disclosed that about 118 Nigerians had so far lost their lives in different attacks in South Africa over the years.

Experts say the figure could may well be above that figure especially several unreported cases of hostilities against Nigerians.
