Fuckthamods:An African man in Spain saved an elderly man who fell off a bridge. He also saved a disabled man from a burning building. When he attempted to help these people, the community was mobilized, and tried to support his efforts. An African youth in France saved a baby dangling off a balcony. A black guy in the UK died saving a white girl because rescue crews claimed they could reach everyone else who went in, but not him. This Russian story is just as suspicious. |
mascot345:Well, the only thing I can say is your options will change substantially over time. And I'm not trying to say you should leave. Also, if you don't yet have a family, going abroad is certainly a lot easier now. |
Don't bring a bunch of food because a lot of it may get seized. The stuff you bring may have an agricultural impact. I mean you can try, but imagine them taking all your stuff. It's not like you can't get Nigerian food in Canada. And if you're looking for cheap food, you have plenty of options, even for fresh food. Check to see what textbooks you can download, or pdfs you can get from friends. The op didn't mention churches. They can be very valuable resources whether it's socializing, finding job opportunities, or anything. Go to Caribana. You'll make lots of friends. lol |
mascot345:NOC 2133 Canada express entry. But honestly, guys like you with experience in this are desired all over. Even if Canada doesn't work out, you have options. |
After giving it more thought, I'm not sure how to approach the clear embassy corruption. It could be a pile of international law better left to experts, or it's corruption that's basically fully supported or without any real oversight. Regardless, it's scr*wed up and racially motivated. |
Listen, what you're doing right now as far as training is great. And you have the benefits of a low cost of living and cheap professional certifications. Take advantage. Train yourself, contribute to some projects or do contract work to build a nice portfolio. Eventually you can get to Canada or somewhere just as nice, but you need to get sorted first. If you insist on going now with your budget, consider studying what you're doing now in Spain. You have the budget (it's very affordable), and you may have better access to the contract market. There's also a self-employment work visa that you may be able to get (later) provided you satisfy requirements. But you need to sort out your job/biz first. Check out the Spain student thread for more info. Please don't go to Dubai. It's not a good place, and it can't offer you or your family a good life. I say this with love. I don't want you to be another person suffering there. |
mascot345:Give me a general description of your duties, and some of the job titles you've had. Also, have you ever been a manager? |

Check the Canada express entry thread. Are you a trained engineer or a technician? |

Wait, wHaT? |
So all the women studying abroad, going abroad to work as nurses, and etc. are what exactly? Fantasy? Stop trolling and go find a better way to make money. |
It's strange that the Nigerian government would block this considering the amount of money people abroad inject into the economy. People leaving doesn't mean loss. I don't see what motivation they would have. If it's a brain drain issue, I don't think that's a problem either. The profile of those who leave permanently doesn't suggest that. I think this is just US crooks exploiting a situation they think they control. I'm going to research the related laws. Hopefully, I can help get embassy workers removed and/or arrested. This is crazy. |
It's not wrong, but they really should wait until they're older and focus on school. I suspect many do it because of peer pressure, too much/too early exposure to adult matters, popular culture being way too explicit, low self-esteem, sheer boredom, and wanting to "feel" grown up. I think it's a good idea to do things to make them more focused on personal development. Mentor them. Encourage them. You can also just overschedule them, so hopefully they don't have time to date. lol They can't date if they're always in class, doing extra training, at sports practice, at music lessons, working for their hobby club, or doing volunteer work. It's also good to scare the heck out of nasty little boys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NvrGHZ7u6I |
If your girl is willing to take a bullet for you, you better spend the rest of your life making that woman happy. You better buy her a solid gold toilet. lol You better buy her diamond encrusted bras. |
I think this is only an issue if it becomes common or grows to full-on tr4fficking. For now, just leave them be. There's always going to be lazy people. Don't condone it, but don't harass them either. Use the energy you would put into shaming them to encourage and mentor them. Maybe even make that a personal goal. Be someone's coach. Guide a random kid from the ghetto to a comfortable life. |
Arguably, the easiest way is seasonal work (typically resorts and hotels) or probably medical work. That generally applies to most countries. Canada has the LCP program, but I think it's better for a female. I mean I guess a guy could be desirable if they have training and experience caring for sick or elderly. But I don't know how easy it is to get this while abroad. Check for a thread that discusses it in detail. Some employers take good care of employees (e.g., help you bring your kids, comfortable schedule, good pay, free apartment, etc). I suppose they recognize how hard it is to find a good employee to do it, so it's like they try to bribe you to stay. |
Total. B*llshi*. |
She raised over $100k in 3 days. And she could have got more, but she closed it. |

Somewhere, a bunch of US soldiers are laughing. |
Brawlscartel:Check the UK nurse thread because I suspect the procedure might be generally the same. I doubt it will be a hassle or expensive. But I'm guessing your best bet is trying to work for a large Ag organization. If you're interested in Canada, you may qualify for express entry under NOC 3114, and that would give you more options and potentially more competitive salaries. Oyinbos, even those without much money, will spend large sums on vet bills. |
