SuperSixSeven:Nemesiswhatever SuperSixSeven no need to use a different moniker. You can't hide in plain sight. Not worry we know who you are. By the way find some new indian story to tell us. There's better than the AIM120-C today and its not from the US. So humble yourself. The JF-17 is the backbone of the Pakistan Airforce not the F-16. Now schools out. China is doing very well. Rest your case. And we are good in Nigeria |
Nemesis4you:Bunkum. When there's a war diplomats get a job Tell us something we don't know Pakistan is always prepared for war which is why they could the element of surprise The Pakistan Air Force humiliated the Indian Air Force. Soak it up your sleeve. |
Nemesis4you:Be easy there and shut the trap. I'm still coming for you. You are a rif.ra.f. You would be learning a lesson by now in real life, nairaland affords you room to rent invectives because its faceless. Your skin is so thin yet you try to dare me. Such low intellect of no use whatsoever. |
Nemesis4you:Re.tard By the way before I put some sense into your empty skull I'll remind you I do so because you are the lowest s.cum of the entire human race Abhinandan was let go to de-escalate an already tense situation which India too would have done. Pakistan already had the optics of winning the engagement it needed nothing more. Frankly I thought india would take back their pilots and still retaliate oh that's a joke but that's what big powers do to drive home the point. But India didn't because Pakistan would respond and the war would escalate. You know nothing of International politics to bare indian version of events here with a bold face. To believe such an illusory of the Pakistani Army chief shaking in the legs lol shows exactly the brand of weed that withers your brain. You never heard of black arts. Pakistan has the nuclear bomb and its Prime Minister is on public saying before Pakistan's retaliation that they had the ultimate weapon and if India so much as threaten Pakistan's existence they would not hesitate to use it. If Pakistan was so afraid of india to shake in the legs it would not so much as lift a finger but it did because it as the levers of military power. Now run along to mommy. School is over. |
Never mind the Nigerian cum Indian here deluding himself including his nationality. Pakistan and India are both friends of Nigeria so we have no bias of the Balakot incident. These are the facts. Not some weed influenced Information by the indian cum Nigerian. We don't exactly know which one moment is neither the next he's both but he's Nigerian. Below a shorter version of events but the full documentary gives you a better perspective. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90-2goB72i4 |
The ace of PAkistan Air Force humiliates the Indian Air Force at a time and place of their choosing. See the roles of the JF-17s & F-16s. This is not a drill. This is real war. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3Y6tC1VArY |
NAF brand new JF-17 THUNDER 4.5 generation multi-role fighter jet screaming fire and fury over Tactical Air Command Markurdi, Benue I can tell you not only the birds are jealous https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3EEwpDy4sA |
iblawi:You already placed the deluded warped ignoramus where he belonged. Well done. Imagine in this day and age pushing over Pakistan that has probably more firepower than perhaps the whole of Africa combined. Nigeria may be richer than Pakistan but necessity they say is the mother of invention and Pakistan has an existential threat on its borders in the nuclear armed behemoth India and has developed strategic land, air and sea launched delivery systems of nuclear weapons. It invests a large chunk of its wealth in its military in fact the military is the state. Pakistan has a large and powerful military. When a nation faces an existential threat it ratchets up its military power to meet those threats as we see in Nigeria today. It's a pity though we have to wait until the fire starts but that's on us having squandered our good will through the years especially because of military adventurism in government. However the stride of the present crop of Armed Forces in Nigeria since the advent of democracy and the willingness of the civilian administration especially the current one to fund it has put Nigerian military on a good pedestal. It should be applauded not ridiculed. Sophisticated aircraft is not what you go into the shop and buy off the shelf, not so. Besides in weapons acquisition most western countries won't sell certain technology to some countries for their own national and political self-interests. They strip it down mostly. The US had to go the length to assure allies that the sale of advanced A-29 Tucano aircraft to Nigeria will not change the balance of power in the region. It was a Trump factor. Thanks to Russia and China today we can own platforms and technology that meets our expectations. The Pakistanis collaborated with China for its survival against an arch enemy in India now flying Rafales. It developed the advanced JF-17 Thunder that comes with every modern tech you can find in a comparable western aircraft at lower cost. Added to that Pakistan and in this case Nigeria has the sovereign choice of its deployment. Most western sales come with strings attached. An example is the Pakistani F-16s used in a defensive role against india whilst JF-17s takes the aggressor role. The JF-17s now form the backbone of the Pakistan Air Force. We should be grateful to Pakistan and not come and insult a strategic ally willing to open their secrets to us to use in defense and offense against our mortal enemies some of whom back the very elements they want to see destroy us. Even if they sell to you they issue you threats of sanctions. Didn't we buy Jaguars the best of its day but they watched it perish rather than sell us the needed parts. There's nothing the west is doing today that we can't replicate or do even better in collaboration with those who know what it takes. If not for President Trump I doubt we would ever see the inside of an 4th Generation A-29 Super Tucano aircraft made in the US. Nigeria historically as a non-aligned nation has always bought from who or whatever meets its needs without restrictions whatsoever. I'd rather we have sovereign choice in power projection than existing as a subservient state. It beats me why anyone except for mischief, ignorance, envy and jealousy would seek to downplay or discredit the NAF JF-17 THUNDER with its advanced avionics and capabilities. Foreground probably the best view and aerial maneuver of the brand new NAF JF-17 Thunder 4.5 generation multi-role fighter Jet. I can tell you not only the birds are jealous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3EEwpDy4sA |
iblawi:Lol Arguably I think would apply for Africa in this context of most advanced etcetera factoring in both Egypt and Algeria but definitely the most advanced and equipped in sub-saharan Africa and that includes South Africa and Ethiopia. We hear Egypt's Rafales have been stripped by France of its software capable of delivering nuclear weapons. Algeria has some potential. |
Nigeria's brand new 4.5 generation JF-17 THUNDER multi-role fighter Jet. It has extended SOW, first-look-first-kill capability and capability to launch a nuclear armed missile warhead. Today the NAF is sub-saharan Africa's most advanced, capable, active and experienced Air Force both in training, combat and platforms.

SuperSixSeven:Spoken like an Indian General. Please tell us another Alice in wonderland story we are used to this one. The facts are public especially given credence to by a qualified and professional NAF fighter pilot so please you have to forgive me your baseless opinion is of no relevance and of no consequence not now not in the future. Nigeria spent north of 200 million dollars for the comprehensive package of just 3 JF-17s for the NAF. That is decent amount of money. I don't know where you come from but anywhere in the world that's decent money even for the mighty USAF that is now retiring expensive to maintain aircraft including contemplating to retire some odd numbers of old F-35s. Their F-16s a comparable aircraft to our JF-17s are projected to operate into the 2030s. That tells you something. In today's world Air Forces and generally militaries are innovative in cost cutting measures, intricacies that go into weapons purchase. No one wants to have an unnecessary burden of a shiny symbol glorified in pictures that is under-utilized. Not to worry we are good plus anything that tickles your fantasy you are led to believe. Below in the foreground Pakistani Air Force Chief with Nigerian Air Force servicemen.

Jimi24:I was going to say something about the ASELPOD but refrained from doing so like I do mostly so that they take the bait. People who barely know think they know something so wait for them to copy and paste online content before exposing they are no professionals. You can imagine someone here full of himself all the time and his ilk liking ignorance all over telling us SA has something we know isn't true. About the French Rafale the manufacturer makes us believe it is built with materials that gives it near stealth capabilities. It remains to be seen in combat where projections on paper can quickly go awry against a very capable foe. |

We fly the Block II version of the JF17, a budget fighter jet for 25m per air-frame. This is anything but a descent amount of money in todays world where even a MIg35 starts at 50m but this is exactly what we need now. We see certainly not a Gen 4.5 aircraft here and note that even the PAF doesnt fly the Block III. Even the Block III is not remotely comparable to the Rafale - this platform is complete different league. Dream on dreamer.
