As well as Senegal, Gabon and Guinea have also ordered 2 KCR-60 missile vessels each. 4 boats in all from PT PAL.

So we have;

Senegal: 1 SSV, 3 KCR-60 and 2 KCR-45

Gabon: 2 KCR-60

This is a challenge tho. With those capabilities, they are simply taking over the West African waters . I am waiting for NN final decision on PT PAL.

What i think we need is too attract private photographers into all of Nigerian military events, bring back NAF Air Expo and support local industry.

Here are photos taken by private Nigerian photographers at a recent navy open day.

You can see the quality of the photos aren't hidden. If we can attract those Nigerians who take city and lifestyle photos, military photography would improve better than it is now.

Senegal has ordered from PT PAL Indonesia, 1 SSV(the same ship ordered by the Philippines navy), 3 KCR-60 missile corvettes (60 meters) and 2 KCR-45 missile boats, 40 meters.

Exactly why taxpayers employ us to think outside the box. One day when SADC gets its act together:
1) SADC Desert Warfare School in Namibia;
2) SADC Jungle Warfare School in DRC;
3) SADC Naval Bases on the West Coast in Cabinda and East Coast in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania;
4) SADC Fighter School in AFB Overberg; SA
5) SADC Air Transport Centre in Botswana/Zambia;
6) SADC Military Health Centre in Angola;
7) SADC Armour Centre in north Mozambique;
SADC Para School in SA, roving training seasonal centres in the region;
9) SADC SPEC WARFARE: Selection in SA, roving training seasonal centres in the region; and
10) SADC Command HQ: Mauritius - no threat to anybody militarily and the perfect place to retire.

Sh#t happens overnight, always be prepared. If Nigeria was prepared, you would have eradicate BH overnight.

NB: In South Africa, terrorists are normally dealt with by intelligence organizations and by guys on suits and flashy sport cars. So you'll never see the SANDF handling those unless they're to provide extra security during raids.

Here's a possible scenario why we can go full war in just months or weeks from now...

Robert Mugabe dies, battle for succession goes out of hand. The ZDF splits to favour factions. Civil War is looming. SADC calls a meeting to call them to put down arms and return to the barracks, the factions are not buying it..... Then SADC has to go in militarily.

South Africa goes in from the south, Botswana hits from the flank and Zambia on the north... It's a full war.
