I don't know if this advice would be useful for you. The idea of breaking Nigeria would not solve any problem we are facing as a nation. You pointed your reasons, are there not criminals in the SE who are locals? The problem facing the country is largely weak institutions which is common among all developing nations globally.

The people of SE should be the last set of Nigerians who should be calling for division for two main reasons. One, they tend to unit the Nigerian people more, by traveling and doing business with everyone easily. Also they settle in those communities without any issue.

Two, the SE region tend to be poorest region among the six geopolitical regions in Nigeria by 2040, either the region remains in Nigeria or not. It's not because of lack of access to the Atlantic. The main factor highlighting this is based on the land mass and the population.

It would require a lifetime fortunes to acquire land for commercial activities from 2030. The cheapest cost of land would be available between now and end of the decade. This would make the region to rely on her neighbours for food, basic manufacturing and products due to production costs.

Kanu and all calling for breaking down of Nigeria do not know much, rather very myopic and unintelligent. It's easier to be successful in bigger nations than smaller ones. I also find those calling on other tribes not to migrate to their regions as myopic. Naturally, people migrating to your region become part of you after three generations either by culture, marriage or number.

IPOB is a mere distraction which has caused young people who are supposed to focus on personal development and goals to be pursuing unproductive cause. It's a pity. Nigeria has large number of her leaders focusing on tribal politics and religion instead of collective national interests and goals. I've lived among people of different colours for many years same with several other Nigerians without issues. How much more people of my colour?

You see why you people are still wandering in 21st century?

Did you even spare a second to consider the psychological impact of what she did? I'm talking about what lasted for many years before they packed out of the compound. See... this thing is simply. If rape must stop (as I sincerely wish) we must first address the factors that condition men and women to indulge in such despicable act. Ladies rape young boys psychologically and emotionally and that has to stop because these are the boy that will turn to rapists tomorrow

That heading is not right and you know it.

Well, I intentionally made it so because it conveys my point rightly. I believe that most of the male adults who rape women today were those raped by ladies when they were children. Raping a male child creates what is called psychological deformation in them as they grow up. Somehow, they have been conditioned to think of sex more than normal. When they can't getting it as they want, they try to force their way. Rape is bad and should be condemned. But for the society to rightly fight this menace, we must first understand the root cause.

This is a rubbish cooked up story. Not even a fourteen year old will understand her story of her husband not satisfying her in marriage, so there’s no way a ten year old will. Weren’t there seventeen or fifteen year old boys who could not only understand her plight but possess organs developed enough to satisfy her physically? This story was crafted for the dimwitted.

This spotlight on rape cases has made every Tom, Dick, Harry and Jane throw accusations at people who didn’t meet their expectations, they now term these people ‘rapists.’ Where is Sugarbelly with her twisted event of things?

I told the story so confused women like u will know that what u are reaping today is what u sowed yesteryears. U see tender male children and decide to create monsters in them. Yeah... it doesn't matter cos they are boys. The stories of what I passed through in the hands of older ladies while growing up are so many. This is one out of many. Thank God for the kind of family I came from. Otherwise, I don't know what my relationship with women would have been today. Call it a lie or anything, That's entirely your business.

I was only 10 years when a nurse who was already a mother at that time started seducing me. Every morning, she would wait for my elder brother who was a businessman then to go to the market. Once my brother leaves for the market, this nurse would come to our apartment, pretending that her uniform was too tight and she couldn't zip the back. She would ask me to help and zip the dress.

At first, it was happening occasionally, but later it became an everyday thing. The lady in question was very beautiful but I was too young to understand beauty in that context. It got to a point that when she meet in the room to zip her dress, she would make it so revealing that I would see her pant and curves. One day, began telling me stories about her husband. she told me that her husband was impotent. And that he was not the father of their little son. She told me so many things that were not meant to be said to the hearing of children of my age. The bad part was that, all this while, I didn't tell my brother about any of these. I didn't because I didn't understand the level of harms she was doing to me.

The situation got to a point that I became so afraid of going to her apartment because each time I went, she was always very willing to reveal her body to me in one way or the other. At one time, she was wearing only a short nightgown when I came in. She moved to a place and sat directly opposite me and I could practically see her vj so clear that the image registered in my brain and ligered for so many years. On seeing that, I stood immediately to go. She noticed I was not comfortable, then she closed her legs and smiled.

The truth is that I didn't like any of those encounter but later in the year, they began to hunt me. Those memories began to distract me from virtually everything I did including school work. Each time I saw a lady of her size, I would be imagining how her private part will be. Whether it will be a resemblance of what nurse showed me not. This thought of images and the things she told me continued reoccurring until I found myself masturbating, relying only on those mental images. This stated happening many years later.

This story is just one out of many of what women did to my while I was growing up. If not that I had a strong moral upbringing, there would be no way I won't rape someone.

point of correction.
Igbos don't hate Northerners , we live and invest in their land and they live in ours,
We supported shagari, yaradua etc
Igbos don't hate yprubas too.
Don't get high on internet junks

Tell them ooo...... I'm a yoruba too but I know that Igbo are not our problem. Our problem is why we keep breeding cowards. awolowo swallowed a mighty bottle of Aba-made rat poison and died just because IBB barked at him. That IBB is still sipping his kwunu up north up till today lol. Out of cowardice, afonja handed Ilorin to the Fulani yet they killed him. tinubu sacrificed his first son to please Buhari and still promised to donate his balls if Bubu asks. Now you...... you are too afraid to be identified as yoruba man. You rather disguised as an Igbo woman to air your points lol....Cowardice is the second name of the yoruba

Keep southern unity to Una self.. The southern candidates that are interested in 2023 presidency already started their allignment and re allignment..

Why can't you guys demand 2023 presidency from Pdp? Why devoting so much time and energy on something not profitable?

I'm a yoruba but I think those Muslims among us are the problem of Nigeria. See..! I believe in justice and it's a sheer stupidity for people like tinubu to try to alienate the Igbo. Believe it or not, 2023 presidency will still go to the North is we don't an Igbo candidate in both APC and PDP

I don't deceive myself with Hollywood love trash. Respect and Value are the two most important things when a boy and girl come together.

Boy brings value : protection, money, Fame , height care and connection.

Girl bring Respect : fear of losing him, care , infatuation ( what you call love ) and mate guarding.

Even the oyibo you're dreaming of is looking for value : strength, sex prowess and "social point claims " ( i.e I am old but can still attract young men )

You get sense at all so?

So wetin girl suppose na fear of losing her guy? Just dey dia dey delive yourself till u old finish.

Good morning all, I have just been thinking of the increased rates of rape, pedophilia, incests and other sexual crimes in Nigeria. In addition to inappropriate exposures of our children to pornography, thereby creating a national brothel in future.

I presume that the advent of cheap internet subscriptions and easily accessible sexual content/pornography may be contributory to this.

So I ask, is there no way to filter our webspace in Nigeria to help our kids and generation. How can we get our legislators to help in this regard.

what is your take on this matter?

Why did you mention cheap internet subscription? U dey craze?

I don't subscribe to lies and fabricated rubbish and tribal sentiments.

Must you low self-esteem and tribe obsessed people turn every conversation into igbo this and igbo that?

Is the topic about igbo people?

You people are so tribally disgusting and annoying.

Actually, I don't like telling people that they are stupid even when they are exceedingly so, like in your case. The matter here is that your father must have been a clueless drunk for nothing teaching you how to be logical. For this, I encourage you to go and spit on his face. If he is dead urinate on his grave. But if you are a fatherless bastarrd, just kill your mother because she is a worthless sluut who Islam has commanded us not to spare.
