I had a dream where I suddenly found myself in an class where people were writing exams. I went to the exam late and it was as if I wasn't aware.

I sat down to write the exams because there was limited time left. Wanted to copy what the person next to me wrote down but the invigilator (who is a female) came and told me it wasn't acceptable.

I had a sheet of paper and pen and the questions looked quite simple but I had no question paper in the dream. Fortunately, someone who had a spare one gave it to me and I continued writing the exams.

The invigilator then told me I should be fast with it that she wouldn't give me any additional minutes. The same invigilator told me to be praying after she learnt I wasn't given or didn't have the question paper in the first place.

But as I said earlier, someone in the class gave me one.

I had been having series of dreams writing exams in the class. It's either I couldn't answer the questions or invigilators took or tore my papers...

This last one was different, I could answer the questions, was graced to be given a question paper and had sometime left but I didn't start with others

This is quite strange to me.
Kindly interpret this dream Sir and how do I go about solving this puzzle.

First, you I must tell you that masturbation is a very strong addiction. It will take your personal will and the grace of God to overcome this.

Masturbation comes along with some triggers. It may be your past experience, pornography, depression, sadness, and your brain is conditioned to get a relief via this means which is deceitful. It's major aim is to cause destruction (John 10:10) and if not careful you start some unthinkable habits you never imagined happens to you.

I have been in that trap before and I thank God for His Sufficient Grace for delivering me from that nasty habit.

I don't want to speak fear into your mind. I must tell you, a lot of people even Christians are into this bad habit. You must understand that it is force, which must be conquered with a more powerful force.

• Everything starts with the mind or thought: Your mind is wired at this point to think of these lustful thoughts. It is quite difficult to overcome such especially in this era of technology disruption were sex is the appealing product. SEX SELLS!!! From adverts, skits and easy access to porn, the lustful desire is in a beastful operation. To prevent this, you must be mindful of all the things that might gain access to the gates of your mind (your eyes, ears). Renew your mind by reading relevant books, spiritual books and be mindful of the kind of songs you listen to or movies you watch (Romans 12:2)

• You mustn't stay idle or lonely: Make sure you are occupied with something relevant to your personal development, career, or place of work. You can as well learn skills online. Your mind has to be shifted with some other activities or challenges. Masturbation will be difficult to leave if you continue to stay idle. It thrives on secrecy and idleness. GET BUSY!!!

• Prayer and Fasting: Continue to believe in the finished works of Christ by prayer and fasting.

• Be patient with yourself: Masturbation didn't gain access into your life in a day. It took some minutes, hours, days, months and even years to find a full grasp of your soul. You have already given it access into your life, with it's full steam. You must be patient. I must tell you that it will trick you into believing that you can never overcome such habits. Never give up when it fights the hardest. There will be days of relapse but don't give up. Roger on!!!


All of these points depends on your will to overcome. I'm glad you're are tired and asking for ways to overcome of this habit, which is a major step..
