If I know the woman, then I would give her a lift with and expect nothing in return. If I don't know her, I'll just admire God's work in her life (her beauty) and drive away. This is Nigeria...one has to be wise...Never pick up strangers. |

Am just me: Ok to be rephrased, do they serve the same GOD?Their doctrine is much different from what we christians believe. Only they (muslims) can give you a much better answer to that question. |

Allah is the Arabic interpretation for God...the word Allah has been in existence before islam was founded. So yes Allah and God mean the same thing. 1 Like |

Do they want to kill the old man? He's 76 years for christ sake...I feel a heavy fine would be a much fairer judgment that the jail sentence. They should learn from the Nigerian Judiciary system...the rich are fined heavily, while the poor are sentenced to jail or killed. |

If the man needed a bible why couldn't he just ask? There are hundreds of churches who give out free bibles to new members on daily basics. Would it hurt if he attends one of them just to acquire that which he cherishes most (a bible) To be honest, that man took a very big risk by stealing publicly...if he committed this act in a place like Aluu community, I doubt if they would put the amount of the bible into consideration before carrying out justice on him...
