JOACHINpedro:Lol... Just use your right leg to step on both legs of the chicken, then use your left leg to step/clip both wings. Then with a very sharp knife, hold the neck and cut it off. After doing this, wait for about 30seconds so that it would finish shaking then remove your legs from it and put it into a bowl of hot water to peel off it's feathers. It's not difficult. Good luck. |
Well, I'd say you're safe...it's not like you told him (Your Pastor) that you're screwing someone else's wife which he happens to know..then I'd say you're doomed. Stopping phonography isn't about praying and binding, it's about working on your mind. Get busy, engage in productive activities during your lonely hours and make sure that your mind isn't idle. Once you can successfully live this way for up to a month, your mind would naturally get used to those new activities and pornography would begin to wear off naturally from your brain. Good luck. |
bishopjoe02:Nope. Only if you're traveling outside Nigeria to countries that have placed Nigeria on their covid 19 watch list. |
Paygram:You're right...once you have a dedicated agent, you can always call them ahead of time to process a ticket for you. If the airlines are smiling to the bank, the agents should as well and the customer should be satisfied. At the end, everyone is happy. It's just now I realized you're an agent...it would be very wrong of me to discredit your business. So I wish you a thousand fold of customers this season. |
Paygram:You're absolutely right... destination is key, I mentioned it in my previous reply. Also, avoid booking local flights through flight agents, you'll pay more. Go to the flight's website and book it online, if it's an emergency flight which you didn't have enough time to prepare yourself for, then you can book it right there at the airport, the only disadvantage is that you'll most likely not be able to book your preferred airline. |
Paygram:For popular airlines like air peace yes for new airlines nope...I bought my green Africa airline ticket roughly 40k at the airport, which is far cheaper than someone who bought air peace a week ago. I wouldn't know how much their tickets will be currently, cos it was some months ago. |
bishopjoe02:For flight schedule and reliability, I'll say it depends on a lot of factors, December is usually their season, so I don't think any airline would delay their passengers cos they'll have their tickets sold out before departure date... meaning they'll all keep to their schedule. If it's during the dormant periods of the year like May, June, July...etc, and you aren't flying to a commercial destination like Lagos or Abuja, then you're most likely going to be delayed cos they certainly wouldn't fly an empty plane. The delay is to see if they can find passengers right there in the airport who will book and join you guys on board. If you're looking for cheap airlines, try Green Africa airline, they're crazily cheap, I flew them from Lagos to Enugu. They're a new airline and don't have much passengers, so I bought my ticket right there at MM airport and boarded them, the plane wasn't filled up and we were delayed for about an hour before departure. It was a very small aircraft so the turbulence was terrible. But all the same the flight was ok. If you're looking for professional services, try air peace or Arik air, the only thing about air peace is that if your destination is lagos or Abuja, you have to book like 3-6 days before your flight or else the tickets for your destination will be sold out. It was what made me book green Africa, I was actually trying to book air peace but was lazy until their whole tickets were sold out. Finally avoid road travel this season, Nigeria isn't safe. |
Dtruthspeaker:You obviously missed the point I was trying to make. By following God's direct instructions like Abraham when God told him to leave his father's land, was a blind Faith to people around him, because he had no idea where he was leading them. But it wasn't a blind Faith to him (Abraham) because he was following the direct instructions from God. People around you might not understand certain actions you take cos they're blind to the path way God has prepared for you...where the problem lies is when you're exercising blind Faith on man's instructions eg. Your pastor or spiritual leader. |
Rocktation:You can only exercise blind Faith when you know God personally. Abraham knew God personally, so it was very easy for him to exercise blind Faith cos he heard clearly from God. Even in the Bible, most of the characters exercised their faith based on their working relationship with God. Christians of today live their lives based on whatever their pastors tell them and not what they were able to hear from God based on their relationship with him. That's why blind Faith these days usually lead to unproductive results, cos you're acting based on another man's instructions and not God's instructions. |
izzou:It's this same generalization that has made the op run to Nairaland to seek for advice. She cannot start small...when advising someone who intends to start a business you mustn't generalize your business advice, it's either you have what to say to the person or you don't. What plan, what blueprint did the op have on ground that made her convince her friend to come back to Nigeria? In case you're not aware, most businesses in Nigeria are over saturated no thanks to the increasing unemployment in the country. So starting your own brand in an oversaturated market with dwindling customer base requires proper paperwork, planing, prayers, finance...etc. it's not about telling the person to start first and later it will grow NO... it's more than that. And in response to your third paragraph, I would have to disagree with you...the op has zero knowledge about fashion, cos if she had like you stated, she wouldn't be here on Nairaland seeking for advice after misleading her friend. Her ignorance is legendary. |
Vipro:It depends on your employer and you. In Nigeria today most organizations that accept graduate trainees are looking for certificate holders, cos they know that what you were taught in the university is basically theory with zero practical. So if you can go for professional courses in your field upon graduation, that would become an added advantage for you in getting employed. |
izzou:Starting your own brand requires money, lots and lots of it. And even if she does that, it wouldn't just blow over night, it would require time and more money to grow. From her post, her friends isn't engaged in anything whatsoever so technically it's safe to conclude that she's bankrupt as a result of her prolonged idleness. He best option would be to sell off a few of her gadgets and head back abroad. |
Business education is under the faculty of education not under the faculty of business management. It's basically for those who want to end up as teachers, lecturers...etc. You will be taught educational courses along with your business course. And at one point of your course, you will be required to go out for teaching practice. Business administration on the other hand is the main business course under the faculty of management science, you will be taught the principles of business which can be applicable to whatever organization you find yourself. So technically you're being trained to analyze and solve practical problems in business. |
maraellaa:Why would you advise her to come back to Nigeria in the first place when you don't have any job on ground for her...that was very bad of you. Or are you unaware of the current situation in Nigeria? My only advice for your friend is for her to go back to the foreign country she got her degree from and look for a job there. Cos even if she eventually lands a job here in Nigeria, the salary per annum would be peanuts compared to what she spent in obtaining that degree. |
If you have a side Hussle that's paying you over 300k per week as you stated, my only advice for you will be to leave the shores of this country upon graduation for your masters, technically it shouldn't be difficult cos you should have saved enough money for your migration. When you get there you can enroll to learn the solar panel installation and data analysis whilst doing your Msc. Good luck. |
Sbiro:What's your issue, state it here...contacting people privately will only worsen things as you could easily be scammed. |
Save enough money from the current business you're running and use it to start another business. And note...any business you choose to start must be one that moves well in your current location. Or better still you can learn a skill that will be useful to you in your location. Good luck. |
Bookhub:Amasea is in Awka Anambra state. It's on the boundary between Anambra and Enugu. I wish our beloved reverned father speedy recovery. And to the culprits, their days are numbered. |
Deserea:It's just like the infamous okija shrine, just that they have a lot respect for pythons. Rumor has it that the community is protected by the python spirit so killing them is forbidden in idemili community. The shrine isn't different from other shrines, it has a chief priest and other lower priest who attempt to provide solutions to customers who come there. What's your obsession with the place if I may ask? |
Good luck...I wish you the best. |
FreedomfromtheT:Next time try to read and understand before hitting the reply button. Go back to my fourth paragraph where I stated clearly that my experience with them brought me to the conclusion that they're in bondage. And if you must know, I don't hate them, I don't hate anyone either, just that the core ones disgust me...hence my final paragraph where I pointed out clearly that they should embrace civilization so that Christianity can be better understood to them. |
uchkochi:The day you start thinking about people's opinion about you is the day your life begins to go backwards. Cos you'll find yourself living to get approval from them rather than focusing on your goals. |
Amen...I pray God answers these prayers. We need peace in this country more than ever. |
Pastoral Job is a profession. Universities offer theology as a 4 year course, upon graduation, if you want to pursue your calling in the penticostal field, you'll still have to attend the Bible School of the ministry you wish to join. All these processes involve money. So why criticize them when they decide to open channels to make money for survival...do you know how much money they invested in themselves to wear that collar? Doctors lie to patients so as to milk them...no one talks Lawyers prolong cases unnecessarily so they can make more money and feed their families...no one talks But when it becomes pastors who also passed through the same training system, everyone frowns and criticizes them. Biko let them be...organizing a program to sincerely pray for people to get breakthrough so they (the Pastor) can raise money to solve their immediate needs is much more honourable than a doctor or lawyer lying to you so as to keep milking you. Look beyond your nose...pastors aren't your problem. |
pakirisuitesphc:Deeper life members are a perfect example of what I call christians in bondage. Those people need help, serious help. They're so archaic, religious, annoying...etc. If I narrate my experience with them, this thread wouldn't be enough. What they need is to open their mind to civilization, then accept Jesus. |
kingskim:Take those documents to your bank, once they verify it to be authentic, they'll give you a much higher loan with lesser interest. |
I still don't get it with you guys and all these loan apps, earlier this week a customized number called me from one of the loan apps telling me to inform one Emmanuel to pay his loan, funny thing is I don't even know the Emmanuel in question, between May and this September, I've received at least 4 different messages from different loan apps concerning my contacts defaulting. The messages are usually malicious in nature. 5k or 8k is too little to have your name soiled in such manner. If you've given them part payment, try to clear the outstanding balance and make a decision never to patronize those sharks again. If you need a reasonable amount of money for business, go to the bank and officially apply for a loan. |
With the right connection, prayers and hard work on your part, it's very possible. Back then in school, there was a rumor that one of our Prof was a 3rd class product. Since it's the career path you've chosen, if you have enough funds or better still a sponsor, I'll just advice you to run your PGD program, your masters, and your PhD (academic) then start forwarding your CVs to various federal, state and private universities, if your village people aren't on top of your matter, you should get at least 3 invites. |
Be focused in whatever you do, avoid distractions, negative people...etc, and most importantly, be close to God and I can assure you that you'll be fine. |
I'll buy acres of land in Awka, Enugu and Abakaliki...fence it, tar it, put street light then erect a mini estate, comprising of 5-10 blocks of 2-3 bedroom flats 3 storey each for lettings to potential tenants. Upon the completion of the project, I'll hand it over to a reputable estate management company and sit back to get my rent alert each year. |
EmmySmiles:Draw an expenses table on how you've been spending your 200k and try to remove the irrelevant expenditures. I usually say this, and I'll keep saying it...most Young guys are broke not because they're poorly paid but because they spend their money recklessly...I'll recommend you do the following. 1. Avoid women...that 2k, 5k, 3k, 10k...you spend on them each time you meet or send to them upon request, if you sit down down to calculate the total at the end of the month, you'll be amazed at what you spend on women. If you must date look for a working class girl who wouldn't become a parasite to your income. 2. Avoid addictions...bettings, drinking, clubbing, prostitutes... etc. Theses addictions can ruin the finances of a promising young man. If you're a victim of any of the above, work hard to discipline yourself by seeking godly counsel from a spiritual leader you respect. 3. Avoid fast-food... believe me, those breakfast you order online in your place of work to feel like a big boy before your fellow colleagues can render you potentially broke. The cheapest online dish is 2k. Meaning if you place an order in 5 working days, you've spent about 10k. With a good girl friend that 10k can get you 3 different soups and a tomato stew which you can refrigerate and consume for over 2 weeks (weekends inclusive). Also, try to stock your home with provision...this helps as well. 4. Avoid things you don't need...most guys are guilty of these, you have two Android phones, you still go ahead to purchase an iPhone, you don't need it. Or because you want to impress a girl you buy a car on credit and spend your whole life paying for it...if getting it would make you financially uncomfortable, then you probably do not need it. 5. Cultivate a saving habit... during my youth service days several years back, I learnt this habit and believe me, it's been so helpful to me. Draw your budget for that salary and remove the amount that would go into your savings, and make sure that funds you send to that separate account remains there no matter what. Do this and you won't find yourself patronizing these loansharks anymore. Good luck. |
What are US Marines still doing in Kabul. I thought they were asked to evacuate Afghanistan by Biden? Even as at 2weeks ago the Taliban through their spokesman were saying that they're waiting for American to vacate their territory so that they'll begin their own government. So why haven't they vacated. The afgan refugees they're struggling so hard to rescue, didn't lift a finger to defend themselves, so why should you keep making your women widows and your children fatherless because of another man's war... Osama who took refuge in Afghanistan after 9/11 is dead, most of the conspirators of 9/11 are all dead. So what's with the obsession with Afghanistan? |
