geeez: Why would you hope in one dark corner of your mind that the firefighters die using the most appropriate equipment to fight this fire under the circumstance?Oh...I don't..its just a slight thought. But don't worry, the equipment won't malfunction. ![]() |
Hmmm...a nairaland get together party...if my memory is correct, this should be like the 17th topic I've come across since I joined Nairaland. Unfortunately all the topics achieved nothing...just regular jisting, till people eventually get tired of making comments, then gradually, the thread would fade. Let's hope this one achieve its aim. Btw...why is the venue lagos, why not in the East...must everything be held in Lagos? ![]() This is not fair o...we must protest the venue... ![]() |
geeez: Sad occurrenceLet's pray it serves its purpose before it malfunctions and kill those firefighters. My fingers are all swollen as a result of the constant RIP I've been writing in the past days, (no thanks to Aluu community and co) and I don't think I'm ready to type another one just yet. |
So where are the ballot boxes?
They're safe in my vault. |
obadiah777: THE ONLY WAY YOU ARE GETTING CREDIBLE LEADERS IN THAT COUNTRY IS IF YOU KILL EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 10 AND THEN START AGAIN. FROM MY TIME ON NL I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT EVERY NIGERIAN IS A POTENTIAL TREASURY LOOTER.Haba buzugee...that's a very harsh advise/suggestion. I know the country is bad, but believe me, there are still some patriotic Nigerians amongst us. |
obadiah777: THATS WHY THEY SAY THE IQ OF THE CONTINENT IS BELOW 70. YOU WILL RATHER STOWAWAY AND THEN GET MARRIED TO A DECREPIT 90 YEAR OLD CORPSE WHEN MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE RELOCATING TO THE RESOURCE RICH PLACE YOU RAN AWAY FROMIt all falls back to bad leadership. If the economy is good, no right thinking human would attempt such a silly act...I read a thread on the home page yesterday of how Rotimi acquired a brand new jet in the climax of the flooding crises in his state. I think its time we start looking for credible leaders, people that are willing to serve and not thieves. |
obadiah777: NA BEANS ? UNLESS NA 400LB CROSS EYED SNAGGLE TOOTH REDNECK HICKBut na woman right? Most guys won't mind getting married to their grand mum just for green card. |
This match would end goal-less or 1-1...if at all Arsenal miraculously wins, it won't be more than a goal margin. |
So sad...must have hid himself there thinking...when I awake, I would be in America, get a white girl pregnant, and live happily ever. Poor creature, if he wasn't blinded by the hardship in the country, and ignorant about the dangers of what he was getting himself into, he wouldn't have engaged himself in such a silly risk. |
mukina2: nice try santos . .Great catch by ceaser... |
mukina2: na only that you see ni? face front pleaseHe he he....40 minutes...still no goal poor gunners... I must be a very good prophet. ![]() |

Aussie: No words on the others but I guess they are still within Nigeria continuing their treatment.Imagine...I just pray and hope that the others survive. |
Una be fool: It's true that it was actually a gamble between Satan and God but God expected them to listen to His instructions and overcome the temptation of the Satan. Rather,Eve fell to the temptation and used the weak Adam as a support to disobedience. No my dear... Look at it this way...Satan rebelled against God right? God casted him down from heaven...he became a wanderer here on earth...God created man, and placed man on earth where satan which was inhabited by satan. Naturally, satan wouldn't have any access to man, because God created him in his own image and likeness, and bless him. So logically, the garden of Eden would have been heavily guarded by hefty angels... So like the case of Job in the bible, satan struck a bargain with God, and accused God of protecting man, I believe he also requested for permission to tempt him. God having warned man severally not to eat of that mysterious tree, felt he had done enough, he therefore withdrew his guards, and satan gained access into the garden of eded. Read Genesis 3:1. He (satan) was already aware that God told them not to eat of the fruit...satan isn't ominpresence, so we can't assume that he over heard God giving the instruction to Adam an Eve. It was a bet...God boasted to satan about man just like the case of Job. And Unfortunately man disappointed God Una be fool: I don't think both of them weren't guilty but guilty and daz why God punished them for their disobedience & it's still affecting mankind uptil todayNahh...seems you don't really understand that passage. Adam wasn't guilty...God's annoyance was that Adam obeyed satan rather than him. And also God didn't punish them...he just drove them out of the garden of eden, if you ask me, that doesn't look like a punishment. Read your bible properly, he made them clothes out of leaves, for them and blessed them with children (cain, abel, seth...etc) I would call what befell them consequences of making the wrong decision not punishment. ![]() Una be fool: Every man should take responsibility for his action and not put any blame on a woman. Women themselves are temptations and all you should do is know how overcome the temptations(them)True...but if I remember correctly it was eve who ate that fruit not Adam. ![]() |
ayobase: Crazyman...can u tell me the secret behind that handle.Well...let's just say I grew up in the dark, but now I've seen the light. So I have to broadcast that light so all men great and small, atheist and devil worshipers can see it and make a U turn, by heading towards that light. ![]() |
I came into the thread...I saw the picture...but I was disappointed because he wasn't actually dancing azonto. ![]() |
larride: Yes and let's hope we don't concede first. I'd rather us take the match to them than trying to be the comeback King again. Make we win na him be koko jareHopefully...we'll win. ![]() |
An early goal should destablize chelsea..however, would agree with larride...Valencia should start that match. |
ayobase: Not being selfish.....that is d most important!Seconded... |
Furthermore...faith is the assurance that God’s promises will never fail, even if sometimes we do not experience their fulfillment in our mortal existence. Hebrews 11 (like you posted above) underscores the fact that we trust God to fulfill his promises for the future (the unseen) based on what he has already fulfilled in the past. Thus, our faith is not blind, but based squarely on God’s proven faithfulness. Finally, the faith that serves to protect us in spiritual warfare is not to be confused with mere knowledge. Millions believe in the trustworthiness of Pastor E. A. Adeboye. They have heard him proclaim the good news on television and yet do not believe that his message corresponds to reality. Thus, they have the knowledge that it takes to be saved but do not have saving faith. Others hear the message, agree that it corresponds to reality, but due to the hardness of their hearts do not bow. Rather, like the demons, they continue to live in fearful anticipation of the judgment to come (James 2:19). Some, however, have what Scripture describes as genuine justifying faith—a faith that not only knows about the gospel and agrees that its content corresponds to reality, but a faith by which they are transformed. |
Super1759: I drop my iphone 5, chelsea is going home with 3points.Your bet has been happily received by me! |
