@Topic. None I guess. @Charles. That your opinion is different from hers shouldn't make you insult her. This is a public forum so the views and opinions of fellow members are welcomed. |
Alright; just wanted to say hello. Hope you're cool ![]() |
@Poster. I don't think its any of your business if married people are on Nairaland. |
@Poster. Why must you break your home simply because you ran into an old childhood friend. . .you should know that such an action would be classified as stupidity of the greatest size. Secondly, how much do you know this girl? Is she worth you sacrificing your marriage over? Don't decieve yourself thinking you know her much simply because you were childhood friends years back; you must know that people change. And finally, I would suggest that you stick to your wife; remember your marriage vows; those vows shouldn't be taken lightly because they attract great punishment when they get broken. |

Yea I agree with you; internet relationship doesn't work. I'd rather waste my time and call credit on a girl I know than one I haven't even met. |
Something that would make you ![]() |
Tell that your friend to make up her mind on one choice; tell her to stop being greedy; because if it comes to the knowledge of those three men that she keeps other guys, they might see her as a flirt, and withdraw the marriage intentions they have for her. |
If the guy really loves the girl as stated here, then he should go along with her regardless of her age; he shouldn't be ashamed to present her before his friends, instead he should be proud of her. I've seen lots and lots of marriages whereby the lady is much older than the guy, and they don't have any problems; so I see no reason why that of your friend should be any different. |
My question is. . . for the whole two years you dated her, is it just now that you're just noticing that she falls sick frequently ![]() Finally, if you really love her as you claim, I would suggest that you take her for medical check up, so you can know what her problem is before taking the next step. |
@Poster. Not all girls are gold diggers; so I would suggest that you continue your search in good faith, and I can assure you that sooner or later you would find your dream girl. |
*Sighs* |
People who are destined to be together would definately meet each other; so the question of how they meet shouldn't matter. |
I think she's cheating on you; what other explanination can one give for the kind of attitude she displayed? Besides, if it was really true that she was with a female customer, she wouldn't have hesitated when you requested to know who she's going to see. Her hesitation proved that the answer she gave to you is false. |
Yea you have a point. |
God is Ominipresence. He is everywhere; so don't rebuke people that prefer to go to mountain tops to pray. Jesus himself loved praying on mountains. In Luke: 22 verse 39 says. 39 Jesus went out as usual to the mount olives, and his disciples followed him. Go verse 41 He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed. That Jesus went to mount olives to pray doesn't mean that God isn't present in other places except that mountain. Sometimes people value their privacy whenever they want to pray; and the only way for them to achieve that result is to go to these kind of places so please stop critizing them. |
Is it that Nairalanders don't read their bible or what ![]() Open your bible to malachi: 3 verse 8 - 10. 8Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, how do we rob you? In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a course - the whole nation of you - because you are robbing me. 10Bring the whole tithe into the store house, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. You must know that God doesn't want your money; all he needs from you is your thanksgiving and that's where the issue of tithe comes in. So if you prefer to remain stingy with your money, and don't give that 10% appreciation offering back to God, then don't expect any blessing from him. |
@Poster I believe me, I know that what many families go through as a result of inter-tribal marriages. What you should know is that your brother doesen't see love in that union; all he wants is that his sister must marry someone that favours them not minding whether you love him or not. And believe me, so many girls have made wrong choices simply because they wanted to please their families and I can assure you that they are regretting it now. I won't want you to fall under that category that's why I had to post here. Here's what you should do. I believe that you're quite matured; so you must let them know that whatever decision you make now would affect you either positively or negatively in future. You must let your brother know that you love this man; and since both of you are compatible you have on intentions of leaving him just because you want to please them. If he still insist on you leaving him, then ask him to give you at least three genuine reasons(apart from tribalism and religious seasons) that should make you leave him. If he can't give any, then I would suggest that you go ahead with the wedding. Finally, don't be rude to them when your bring your fiance for that visit; or else they might use that as an excuse to find fault in you marrying him. Instead show them respect and let them know that you have nothing against them; and I can assure you that they would have no choice than to give you the green light. Good luck. ![]() |

May God help us. |
Oh no! Lets hope that you would experience some this night. ![]() |
@Uju Awka is big like you said; and one can easily get lost. But as far as I can tell Unizik junction comes first, then followed by Aroma junction (that's where you have the round about that takes you to Ifite) kwata comes last. Apart from that, any other direction isn't really known to me. ![]() Finally, when coming from Enugu to Udoka which I believe is a few miles from Awka, the only place where you would be permitted to drop is Aroma and Unizik junction. No driver coming from Enugu would drop you at kwata junction. So please if you have friends who want to visit you from Enugu, don't tell them to drop at kwata or else they would get lost and you would be held rerponsible. ![]() |
Because I have no choice. How're you doing candylips? hope you had lots and lots nightmares last night ![]() |
