Nairaland GeneralRe: ATM Fraud By Banks Any Advice To Stop It? by CrazyMan(m): 5:08pm On Jun 28, 2013
akanbi a a: I recently used my firstbank Verve Atm card to withdraw on a GTB bank ATM machine and the amount was deducted but not dispensed twice and I went to lodge a complaint at the bank all I was told by an impatient and aggressive staff in the ATM section was to fill a form and wait for a week and its now over and no one is willing to do anything about it.
My question is should I just fold my arms and let my hard earned money go in vain or what can I do to rectify the problem and also to avoid other peopke from falling into such,Please I need your advices and experience on these issue is it a delibrate fraud or error from the bank and why don't they want to rectify the problem if its an error indeed?
Go back to the bank and request to see the branch manager…lodge your complains to him and he would direct you to one of the staffs who would rectify the problem for you.

Good luck.
Even If I Do, What'll Be The Difference? I Don't Think You'd Be Convinced, Considering Your Moniker. No Offence Intended, Though.
How do you keep your faith if you cannot prove to people that what you believe is actually real.

If you get employed as a bank marketer tomorrow, and you're asked to go out and convince people why they should bank with you. What would be your reply to the multiple questions they would throw at you?

Would you be rude to prospective customers by telling them to walk into any of the branches (churches) to make more inquires because you don't have all the answers?

Or you tell me its not by force to bank with you...its optional.

If you cannot answer my questions by proving to me why I should bank with you, why should I put my hard earned money in your bank?

In case you don't know, I'm a christian just like you, but in the last few months, I've been in search of answers to hundreds of questions that troubles my mind.

If you claim to be strong in faith as your initial posts portrayed you as, why is it so difficult then to share your newly found faith with a troubled brother?

Do you know what I think whenever I read most post of self acclaimed christians here...they stink with hypocrisy.

Most of you type to win arguments and not to convince a soul...your posts say one thing and your lifestyle says another.

*Sighs*

texanomaly: @ Crazyman First of all Jesus did nothing wrong to be punish for. He volunteered.
You still don't get it do you?

God is the supreme ruler of the earth, must he send his son to be ridiculed and killed just because he wants to forgive us?

texanomaly: He chose to take this on himself. I am not a theologian. I don't have all the answers.
So you're as confused as the rest of us then...

texanomaly: I only know what I believe, and what I have felt first hand.
No dear...you believe what you're told absence prove and logic.

texanomaly: I am only stating my belief.
You have no believe you said so yourself...you don't have any answers...your believe is based on what you were taught in sunday school...you have no practical experience about who Jesus is.

If you have, kindly share it with me, cos I'm also searching for answers.

texanomaly: I give you your right to believe the way you choose.
No you don't have to give me the right to choose who to believe.

I'm only searching for answers that has been troubling my soul for some months now, and I find it highly disappointing that you who believes cannot convince me to do so.

texanomaly: Please give me the same right.
Dear I'm not holding your rights...its a free world you know.
Crazy, You're Premises Are Arguable But The Reasoning Behind Them Are Plainly Ludicrous. God Showed His Love To The World By Giving It Jesus His Son.
Stop disappointing me...I don't expect this kind of reply from you.

Would you as a king send your eldest son to go and reconcile you with one of your younger sons who broke away from you to establish his on nation and have his own laws? If you want to forgive him, would you send your heir there to be beaten, striped naked, mocked, flogged and killed in the most brutal manner by his own brothers when you can just tell them "I have forgive you" and bring them into your fold?

Secondly, according to genesis, we are all God's children, so why is it so difficult for him to make us live in peace.

First he destroyed the world by flood because there was no order on the earth...whose fault?

Sodom and gomorrah was destroyed for the same reason.

If we blame Jonathan for the current state of the nation, shouldn't God too be blamed for not being able to establish his name and rule on the earth he created?

If your children turn out to be vagabonds because you abandoned them and refused to play your role as a caring father. Is killing them the best solution you can come up with?

Isn't it the responsibility of the father to ensure that peace reigns in his home despite all odds?
Jesus Came To The World As A Saviour To Those Who Believe In Him, Because He's God Himself. He Didn't Come To The World To Force People To Believe Him, He Gave Man The Choice To Choose Between Life And Death.
From my understand of the bible, people interpret it to mean whatever they want it to mean.

Let's take a look at your argument...

1. Jesus isn't God...he stated it so himself...go back to your bible, I don't have the time to start posting passages.

2. If the world has been united with God as a result of christ death, why is there still so much evil on earth? And what is the main purpose of christ death?

3. If God gave man a choice to believe him, why did he make it so difficult for man to believe he's real? Why do we have to work hard and rely on luck in order to be successful? Why do christians still die in accidents? Why do christians still patronize hospitals when a simple prayer to my heavenly father can heal me?

What exactly differentiates us from unbelievers apart from the fact that we abide by an invisible law and they don't?
You Don't Have To Believe In Him If You Don't Want To,
You keep on contradicting yourself. If he sent he's son to redeem me from death why shouldn't I believe him?

Why should you tell someone God sent his son to die for you because you were marked for destruction, then you go ahead to tell him that believing him isn't compulsory...isn't that madness?

Why would it be optional to believe someone who is offering you eternal life?

Is there something you aren't telling me?
That's Of Course If You Have A Death Wish. You Cannot Distrust Your Father And Still Expect Him To Protect You.
Have you ever taught of what africans went through during the slave trade?

And what more africans are still going through presently?

If my father doesn't live up to his expectation as a father, is he worth my respect?

Think about that statement...
Christianity EtcRe: I Love This by CrazyMan(m): 2:49pm On Jun 26, 2013
I still don't get it.

Now according to the scriptures, Satan rebelled against God and was casted down from heaven along with a third of the heavenly host.

They were all casted down to earth.

God created man (knowing fully well that the devil resides here on earth) blessed him and placed him here on earth. (Genesis 1:27)

Now we had satan and his followers, a bunch of banished coupist serving their time on earth (God's prison)

And God's creatures made in his image and likeness on the same earth...man was bound to fall right from the day he was created.

Now to the video...

John 3:16 tells us of God's love for us and how he sent his only son to die for us.

If I claim to love my son, show him off to all my friends by telling them how proud I am of him, then lynch him simply because he disobeyed me, what kind of father would the world see me as?

The ending part of John 3:16 (...shall not perish...) contradicts the fist line of the passage (For God so loved the world...)

The word perish isn't synonymous with the love he has for us.

why put children you created in your image and likeness in hell?

I believe there should be punishment for sinners, but consuming them in hell isn't a fair punishment.

If I tell my son "if you don't want to perish/die don't disobey me" is that love?

Surely it isn't...its an open threat to make him aware of how he would be tortured by me if he eventually disobey...now he wouldn't disobey me because he loves and respect me, but because he's scared of what me (his loving father) would do to him if he disobey me.

That's not love!
