It's so unfortunate those we employ to serve us. Have finished us, and we are doing nothing about it other than voting by enthic lines or party afflictions. If we must get it right in 2023, we must look at the individual irrespective of the party he is coming from. Because the individual as the head of the party when elected, sets the tone. |

You sef check am na, all the stimulus packages and soft loans wey government the give to help small businesses and the poor, which government don do am? Reason am, from trader moni to covid-19 loan. APC made Nigerians to be the poorest nation on earth despite having lower numbers of people than India. Unemployment went from 19% to 31%. Inflation from 9% to 17% that's why everything is expensive. My salary back in 2012 could buy more things despite it been smaller than what I earn now. Now I am even more afraid to travel than i was back then. PDP didn't do well, but APC has been worse. |

benuejosh: Ayu will fail PDP. The man LOVES money too much. His credibility and quest for money is questionable. Else, he would have been the best candidate. I would have even preferred Shema. The man is cool. But the moment you're in PDP they corrupt you.
PDP a party of rogues and criminals. All the suffering we have in Nigeria presently was caused by the evil party. They are perpetually corrupt, try stole Nigeria dry and even stole themselves. Where is the N11.5billion they raised to build their National Secretariat/Headquarters? They raised the funds and stole it again.
NEVER will PDP rule this country again. The suffering they caused for us is too much. It won't be well with PDP. So APC is the one making us enjoy abi? |

Corporate2020: Should a man and a woman get married even when they have no money? They think marriage and kids are life achievements. They should enjoy their achievement. Nobody hoping to give birth would think his/her bill will be 4.5 million naira. 95 percent of Nigerians don't have that kind of money in their account. It's really unfortunate and I sympathise with them |

GetMeRight: Obi was accused during his Vice presidential campaign of diverting public/state resources to revive his moribund family business to the tune of billions of naira. He couldn't deny it. All what he could say back to the interviewer was that it was a partnership between the state and his family business. It turned out that the family business was making huge profits but Obi/family business never remit one naira back to the state several years after the diversion. Now, defend that. Why would you even entertain the idea that Obi, a Nigerian politician is not a thief like others? Then why did the EFCC not arrest him especially when all the current government knows how to do is hound the opposition |

gawu1: We always claim that our politicians and leaders shortchange us by stealing our patrimony, thereby conditioning us to poverty and under development. Yet, anytime anyone else from them is caught in the act, the same (we) come to his or her defence with one excuse or the other. We have allowed free environment for the thieves milking us in this country to ride on with their stealing prey due to our primordial sentiments. My thief, what about your own thief! Just now that we have Peter Obi on Pandora paper, we have had many of him, in fact we have many of him and we will have many of him. The discourse is that with or without Pandora paper, we know our thieves but have no ball to reject them. I totally understand where you are coming from... I totally believe that being in the opposition for the past 6 years or so, this administration would have used EFCC to totally bamboos the man if they had anything on him especially as a lot of people like me believe he is a good politician which unfortunately we rarely have in our country. |
Politics › Re: Pandora Papers Implicate Peter Obi, Nine Other Nigerians by Creamz(m): 3:34pm On Oct 05, 2021 |
gawu1: Kindly go through the Pandora paper report about him and see when he started investing in the secret companies in question. Even James Ibori first claim was that the money he was accused of laundering were family money. That was why his wife was first convicted before him. I only hope that when the fg rise to occasion and make sure the ill gotten business of him are confiscated and lost to Nigerian government just like that of Ibori, you people will not come with claim that the money are for Anambra state government. I am clearly not holding brief for him, but I believe he had money before he became a governor. Him choosing to use that mode to preserve his inheritance I don't find questionable. However, the timing is suspicious. So I hope he can clear up the issue of the timing in the near future. |

But with these exposure, it's now time for the public to scrutinize him on how he amassed money to establish those multi-million businesses, besides his refusal to pay taxes due on them. Inheritance. Kindly read about him to know how he got his wealth. |

We the people of Nigeria have a long way to go in breaking free from this evil bubble we have found ourselves in. From the councillorship positions to the Presidential position, they are fought with money than ideology because they know the people are hungry. |
