@ojochidem, thank you for stoping by.

Let me quickly point out something to you. I clicked on your advert on nairaland and it led me to account.kudisms.net/register.php for me to register. To me, it lacks the hook to get new clients. Why not have a landing page like kudisms.net/welcome and welcome the client. Inform him that you are aware he landed here because he clicked on your advert banner. Since your advert text talks about 'undelivered sms', tell him more about how frustrating it is for one to have his sms not delivered on time or at all. Then, inform him that you are here to solve the issue by offering him a premium portal that delivers sms instantly. Convince him to register and test the delivery speed. Then have a nice 'call to action' button like [Get Started Now] which will then lead him to the register.php page. Welldone sir.
Webmasters / 5 Reasons Why You Are Not Succeeding In Your Bulk Sms Business by CreativeWeb(m): 6:38pm On Nov 25, 2015
Let me quickly share with you 5 reasons why you are not succeeding in your bulk sms business. If you take heed to these instructions, you will practically take your bulk sms business to the next level.

1. Delivery Issue.
If your bulk sms portal is not delivering sms at all or having late delivery issue, then you are in for a serious business wreckage. It's better to have less attractive and unresponsive bulk sms website than to use premium joomla template to build your website, but your clients keep experiencing delivery issues. Pls avoid delivery problem at all cost. Go for premium route and reject economical route like cancer.

2. Not Buying in Large Quantity.
This is one of the secrets of success in bulk sms business. Try to raise some fund, ask your friends or family members to invest in your bulk sms business. If you buy sms in large quantity, you will get it cheaper and then sell at a competitive price and recover your capital and income immediately. I remember asking clickatell.com for sms pricing. They told me #2/sms. That was outrageous because it will be hard to resell. I started negotiating with them and they said they will offer me at 80kobo/sms but that I must buy upto 5 million sms, which is 4 million Naira.

I am not saying you must raise millions of Naira if you must make it in this business. All am saying is that you should find a way to buy sms in large quantity and get sms cheaper.

3. Using One Sms Gateway.
I personally use two very strong sms providers in the world. None of them ever failed me, but I insist on using two gateways to prevent any outage that will affect my business negatively. One of my providers dont use online payment and so for me to pay them, I usually buy dollars, pay into my domicilliary account and then wire to their bank account. It takes 2 to 3 days for the transfer to clear. So while waiting for the transfer to clear, I wil be using the other company's API.

4. Not Doing Enough Marketing.
Your bulk sms business can never move forward if you dont actively market it. You must advertise. I dont joke with adverts. I constantly look out for opportunities to leverage and push my bulk sms business to the people. Make out time and google about cheap business marketing strategies and implement some of them.

5. Becoming Casual with it.
Your bulk sms business is a business. Dont make it a casual source of income. Get a good logo. Print a complimentary card. Have a brand colour. Use 'we' and 'our' anytime you are talking about your bulk sms. Bulk sms business is a serious business. Go register a business name at CAC. Get a corporate account in at least two banks. Get a dedicated phone number for the business.

***
If you have more, you can add. Keep advancing.

@ creativeweb, for real? I thought the widespread believe is that india is the programming hub of the world. Are you still there? I'm also considering going to india to become a pro web and software developer but your comment is making me reconsider.

Nope. I left India since 2013.

Now ANOTHER question!

How do I get my own API for other websites to use under me even if I am a reseller for another gateway?

Does it come automatically? Do I have to configure another software for that?

It comes automatically. Every bulk sms portal has an automatic API.
Webmasters / Re: . by CreativeWeb(m): 7:42pm On Nov 21, 2015
India is trying in programming, but when you get there, you will be shocked to discover that many of the wonderful things you have heard about India concerning programming and software development are FALSE.

I have lived in India for 2 years. I studied web development and graphics design there. However, I was frustrated midway and had to resort to self-learning. Internet is cheap and fast in India and so you will always be online learning on your own.

Indians will sweet-tongue you, but at the end, they will not deliver. Again, Indians are tribalistic. They will even be teaching in Hindi language while you an international student is in the class. You will end up learning little or nothing. You will be forced to start learning on your own online.

Pls i wanna know if its possible to set minimum unit that can be purchase with SPC powered portal

Yes, that's another strategy. If your minimum purchase is 1,000, then set 1 - 999 units for N10/unit. If the person insist on buying less than 1000, then he will have to pay N10/sms.

hmm...and they did not verify your business abii...

oga fleps better prepare atleast 10k if u re opeing an acc with firstbank....you cannot get A corporate acc for zero naira, and u cannot get the acc no on d same day...they will verify authenticity of your CAC docs first

Am not here for blind arguement. Do you have a corporate account? I have a corporate account in four banks. I got my firstbank account number that same day. They never charged me for any verification. It was gtbank that took about 5k, but they didnt insist I pay it that day. They simply debited and when first deposit came, they took it. Firstbank even gave me the account number when my references remained one. Just that they limited the account. When I came to request for atm card and then withdraw, they drew my attention to that. I told them that i dont have any other reference. They even helped got one immediately inside the banking hall and sent to lagos and then printed my atm card right there and gave me.

Opening of account is not scary.

Bulk sms business advanced marketing strategy...

This is another advanced strategy I use to make some cool income from bulk sms. I will approach very big churches and submit a well-written proposal to them. My proposal is not for them to merely register on my portal and start making use of it. I actually tell them that they can start a bulk sms business and be generating some good income from it. I wil tell them that under 48hrs, I can setup a custom bulksms portal for them, integrate my API into it and print 8,000 copies of handbills for them to advertise it. I will give them a run down and what it will take and how much they will be buying from me and how much they wil be making. I currently have three very big churches under me that have their custom
bulksms portals. They advertise it in their service bullentines. It pays because some of these big churches have lawyers, doctors, school owners, ceos and managers of companies and corporate organisations as their members. They usually abandon their former bulksms providers in order to embrace their own church bulksms portal.

Go and try it...

Next up, I will show you how I am making an extra income by setting up a bulksms portal for my fiancee and making her the manager.

Yes sire. But one more still bothers me...

I have read online some banks' requirement and features of their accounts.

For example, First Bank says minimum of 15k balance and 2k monthly charge. Almost same with GT.

So once again, is there a special account for Sole Proprietorship that requires little or no monthly charge and minimum balance?

I saw that of STANBIC, and no such thing.

Please I need advice because I want to open specifically GT n First Bank. Guidance please. Thanks guys.

My brother, just visit the banks. Stop reading craps online. Firstbank opened my account with zero naira. And they charge me about 65 Naira per month for COT. They even gave me ATM card on credit and debited me like -N1,000. Once money enter your account, they will take the 1k. They even gave me my account number that same day. These things are simple once you have the requirements. Zenithbank, diamondbank and gtbank required no initial deposit of whatever.

Just have copies of:
1. CAC certificate
2. TIN from FIRS
3. Fresh PHCN bill
4. Form C4 from CAC
5. Recognized ID Card
6. Three References of corporate accounts (not personal current account)
7. A stamp
8. A letter on your letterheaded paper requesting account to be opened

Now my next question:

In opening an account with a business name, which account exactly should one go for? Business Account? Corporate? Current?

Business account is automatically a current account. Corporate account can be a business account and every corporate account is a current account. For instance, we have a corporate account with the business name: BOLD ICT SOLUTIONS in firstbank, diamondbank, zenithbank and gtbank. Just register a business name with CAC, get your TIN at any FIRS office. Then open a sole proprietorship account with any Nigerian bank. Simple.

Dear fleps, if you have questions about bulk sms business, then we at SMSnaija247 have all the answers for you. We have been in the business and today, we can boldly say that we have cut our teeth in it.

To answer your questions. If for instance, you have 10,000 sms units in your account and you get a user that pays for 50,000 sms units. If you sell at N1.60/sms, then the user should have paid in 80k. If you buy at N1.40/sms, then quickly use 70k from the user's payment to purchase 50,000 sms units from your provider and topup your account. Your balance will become 60,000 sms units. It's difficult for a client to pay for 50,000 sms units and need to use all the 50,000 sms units to send sms immediately at a go.

What you need is an indegenious bulk sms mega aggregator like www.SMSNAIJA247.com, which will be ready to attend to you anytime and streamline services for you.

Ask more questions.

Note: If you can get a domain name, hosting plan and spc4, we will build a bulk sms website for you at a token fee.

If you will use our API, then we will be ready to mentor you and expose some secrets and strategies that will make you stay ahead of the competition.

Or you can email us now at: smsnaija247@gmail.com and we will be glad to answer all your queries with apt and competence.

We have broken the code and figured everything out. We are currently leading the pack.

You need a premium route. I welcome you to www.smsnaija247.com and start using our premium bulk sms route. Thank you.

I want to encourage you to keep pushing your bulksms business forward. Keep advertising. Keep reaching out. Target to get 50 persons or organisations that will be sending 5,000 sms per month. That will be 250,000 sms per month. If your profit is 50kobo, then you are sure of 125k per month from these 50 persons or oganisations. Most bankers are paid 70k or 80k per month, yet they slave from Monday to Sunday, 6am to 8pm.

This month alone, I am rolling out a massive campaign. I have printed 12,000 copies of handbills for advert.

Just get a reliable sms provider like www.smsnaija247.com and focus on advertising your business. You should never use a provider that will not deliver sms for your clients. Nobody is talking about cheap sms now. What people want now is 100% delivery. Most serious bulk sms providers sell at #2/sms now and their clients are still patronizing them. I got two clients last week that complained of their former provider. They compalined about lack of instant sms delivery. Pls get a reliable and premium sms provider like www.smsnaija247.com. Never use cheap and economical sms route.

Webmasters / Re: International Payment Processor - Information Please. by CreativeWeb(m): 6:22pm On Oct 27, 2015
Go through this top 10 international payment processors.

10. WooCommerce
WooCommerce allows WordPress users to create their very own e-commerce shop. There are several neat features that make this payment processor worth your time. Besides being vendor and customer friendly, you can run coupon campaigns, manage your store’s daily activities, learn about shipping and tax rules, and view your store’s overall performance.

9. 2CheckOut
2CheckOut is a payment processor which is a combination of a merchant account and payment gateway that doesn’t require PayPal or a Merchant account. Simply register and verify your account and you can start accepting credit card payments, and even PayPal payments. The company also offers international payments, shopping cart stores, and a recurring billing feature.

8. Stripe
If you’re a developer, you should already be using Stripe. Developers use Stripe to integrate a payment system into their projects through Stripe’s robust API. This prevents the need for a merchant account, and also allows you to build your own payment forms that can bypass PCI requirements.

7. ACH Payments
ACH Payments has several key features that make it one of the top payment systems around. Pros include: being able to make
global payments, as well as serving as a payment gateway, merchant account, credit card processor, and mobile payment
processor. It can also handle ACH payments and can be used as a payroll system.

6. WePay
What makes WePay standout isn’t the fact that it’s a payment processor allowing internet merchants to accept credit cards
and bank account payments online, it’s the fact it’s incredibly simple. In fact, you can begin accepting payments in under a
minute. The only drawback is that it’s only available for U.S. citizens.

5. Authorize.Net
It’s been stated that Authorize.Net is the most widely used payment gateway on the internet – probably because it’s been around since 1996. Currently, there are over 375,000 merchants handling more than $88 billion in annual transactions safely through credit cards and e-checks. Something’s going right over there.

4. Dwolla
Dwolla is a more recent competitor to PayPal with some outstanding benefits. For example, you can transfer funds through email, phone, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. But, what makes Dwolla so appealing is the fact that there are no fees for transactions less than $10 and $0.25 per transaction for transactions over $10.

3. Amazon Payments
Amazon Payments is a safe, easy and convenient method for users to receive money by using Amazon’s API. Users can also send money via ACH (Automated Clearing House). Since almost everyone has an Amazon account, all your important information has already been stored.

2. PayPal
Obviously PayPal would be included in this list – it’s only one of the world’s most widely used payment acquirers processing some 8 million payments every day. As of this writing, PayPal has over 137 million active accounts in 193 markets and 26 currencies around the world, which makes it easy to transfer and request payments. Other PayPal perks include accepting checks through a smartphone’s camera, a card swiper, and allowing customers to make a purchase without leaving your site.

1. Google Wallet
This is essentially Google’s version of PayPal, complete with money transfers and a Google Wallet Card! Since we’re all addicted to the Big G, it shouldn’t be all that difficult to spend and receive money. Google also announced last month that it will be releasing a physical card connected to users’ accounts so they can utilize Google Wallet at retail businesses.

As we continue to strive to make good income from bulk sms business, I want to quickly point out few things.

In your bulk sms business, please never use an sms gateway or route that delays in sms delivery. Your sms delivery must be instant. The worst thing that will happen to you is to have a route that doesn't deliver. Clients don't mind paying N2/sms, but they can never stand a route that doesn't deliver sms instantly. If your portal delivers sms instantly, then you have gotten the client for life. Your clients will remain with you through the thick and thin.

Find a premium bulk sms route. Even if it demands paying N1.40/sms, go for it. You can sell at N1.80/sms and be earning 40kobo/sms. Never go for economical or cheap routes. You are the person that will lose at the end. It will hurt your business.

Advertise, advertise and advertise. You need to get to a situation that at least 1 million sms are sent from your portal every month.

Business / What Is The Current Dollar And Euro Currency Exchange To Naira? by CreativeWeb(m): 2:02pm On Oct 15, 2015
I am a bit confused on this. There is interbank rate and international market rate. I read yesterday that 1 USD is now 225 NGN, but the interbank rate is around 197 NGN.

Again, 1 Euro is 227 NGN, but I read on nairaland few weeks ago that 1 Euro is about 246 NGN.

Even if you google it now, you will get 1 Euro at 225 and 1 USD at 197.

Pls is there a place to get the current currency exchange? Again, if one is paying for something online, is it the interbank rate or whatever rate that will be used?

Thank you.

Mtcheww.. What's the difference between N225 and N226

Bros, you think 1 Naira is a small money? It's not. In business, even 10Kobo is a big money. What matters is when you multiply the 1 Naira into 1 million, then you have 1 million Naira. If you are to pay 1000 USD for something, intead of you paying 226,000, you will be paying 225,000. That one thousand Naira is something.

Bulk sms business is lucrative and I have what it takes to mentor you until you become a bulk sms master. Get a good domain that is not more than 11 characters. Get a reliable bulk sms API like that of www.smsnaija247.com and buy sms at a competitive price of N1.30 or N1.20 per sms. Then face marketing squarely. Be a jovial person each time you are doing marketing. Walk up to matured and enlightened people and speak to them about your bulk sms portal. Go and meet with church leaders and try to strike a deal with them. I have two mega churches that in PH that buy 50,000 to 100,000 sms units monthly. They send sms every day. If you buy sms from me at N1.30 or N1.20 and sell at a competitive price of N1.50 or N1.60 per sms and make your income quickly while satisfying your clients. Print one colour handbills and go to big events to share the handbills. Go to banks and put handbills at the driver's door handle of every car parked in the bank premises. Walk into the banking halls and smartly share your handbills. Search out for pastors' conference and go share your handbills. Print a shouty 2ft/1ft flex and post it at the entrance of big churches and universities. Try your luck by trying to see if you will get a government agency, ministry or parastatals that may be willing to use your bulk sms portal. Determine to start raking in at least 100k per month. If you hit the 100k target, you will start going higher and higher. Let your imagination run wild. Take every opportunity to push your bulk sms business. I remember calling a state governor (I got his number from a friend) and told him about my bulk sms business. He promised to look into that. I kept disturbing him till now. I also call one of the special advisers of PMB to see if he can link me to any government agency or ministry. I want to start making 7 digits every month from bulk sms. I am not folding my hands. I am exploring every avenue to breakthrough more and more.

Friends, go and create wealth.
