The first thing that comes to people's mind these days when they think of marriage is the wedding, then the show off to their friends and family.

People rarely think of 30 years down the line...that's why most can't even survive two years down the line, the sex wears off, the thrill fades, people are done talking about how "wow" a couple you are and have moved on to the next best couple.

So for most who didn't know the real and deep purpose of choosing their spouse are left with nothing, just a deep void.
