clevadani: Just going through many threads and shaking my head at Pdp agents. What gave you people the impression that Pdp had a chance to win Edo State?? PDP had no right to win because oshiomhole was as good as Winston Churchill and George Washington combined. That was why APC had to buy votes and win by a narrow margin. |

Did they pay you, how much? If not how you take know say they paid anybody? Drunker man's hypothesis?. Pay me? Bleh. This kind of politics is far from where I stay. I don't think I would ever want to come back to Nigeria let alone vote there. Goodluck. |

Very basic shitt anybody can do with a few youtube videos. I am not impressed by the level of technology Nigerian universities are churning out. There is nothing proprietry or revolutionary about this crap. Instead of all these cheap aeronautical works that is obviously beyond the scope of Nigerians in Nigeria, why not start with basic engine designs.? The first step to serious technological growth is knowing how engines are designed. |

timeman: @CSTR2, Your Ignorance is coming out rather rapidly. You so dimwited to realise that every nation's security agencies have rules of engagement & when dissenting groups step out of line, initiatives are therefore handed to the security forces. Chattam house on the otherhand, is not a tool for pupeteering. The Integrity of such an independent institution far outweighs your myopic understanding in every sense of the word. Kiss the truth! You are a backward nation that is why your rules of engagement are backward. Hiding it under a toga of independence is foolish, because Nigeria is not very independent ,and independence does not mean brutality and heavy-handedness. The US is the most independent nation in the world in real terms and yet their president is subject to the law. |

maasoap: Personally, I think you should be the one the question is directed to. White police killing black people in USA is now an international concern, where is AI reports on that? Not that Im against them, but they're partial. AI has been vocal against that. Someone just posted a link in the first page. The US citizens have their rights far respected than yours. How many Nigerians have been killed by police without anybody saying anything? You are languishing in hell and you are accusing someone who lives in heaven . |

timeman: @CSTR2, You talk like a slobbering suckling. What has PMB's outing in the UN has got to do with campaign of calumny against nations of independent minds having control over their internal affairs. Why did nations like Russia & China also voted against the so called appendage of human right defenders in the just concluded general assembly or didn't they have a successful outing too?. I leave you to wallow in barbarity. Kiss the truth! Independent mind, my foot. You are so independent that you kill and oppress your own people? That is the best way to show your independence. You are not independent in trade, economy or technology. Your political leaders go to Washington and Chatam house for political pilgrimage on a regular basis. So how independent is that? |
Politics › Re: Nigerian Government Muzzling Dissenting Voices - Amnesty International by CSTR2: 9:18am On Sep 29, 2016 |
GenBuhari: ok So wailers who are agreeing with dishonest corrupt white man controlled Amnesty International have clearly failed to see the hypocrisy and irony of their position. What dishonesty? Are violators of human rights not charged to court in a white man's land? They are. Is Amnesty international vocal against human rights vilations in white man's land? They are. So where is the hypocrisy? Expecting a buhari fanatic to respect human rights is hoping for a unicorn. |

This campaign has failed from the start. Wailers shall be put to shame Kiss the truth! wow. And your president claimed to meet with Obama and also claimed to have a successful UN outing. There is sawdust in your brain. |

Aufbauh: Amnesty International my foot! Who have they help or are they created to monitor only Nigeria situations?
We don't hear them complaining about various racial abuse across Europe, unlawful criminal detention and execution in Asia and the complicity of white police in the continuous killing of black folks in America...... They are only taking advantage of the Nigerian environment to defend their mandate and justifies their pay. Amnesty international has been very vocal. You obviously can't compare US and Europe with Nigeria. In the US and Europe, there is rule of law that even the president follows and there is an assurance that offenders when proven guilty would be punished by the law. Perpetuators of gun violence are arrested and charged to court and made to face a jury unlike Nigeria. Nigeria is a jungle where there is no rule of law, so Amnesty international has to be the voice of conscience. |
