Insubordination when it comes to Southern leaders is in their blood, DNA.
In their mind na them get Nigeria, they don't rate Wike at all.
See what they did to GEJ. (In their mind why must he be the one on the seat, or making that beneficial policy, they never see anything good.)
The road he's constructing all over FCT, to them is useless. They don't regard those achievements at all. Walahi if I was Wike, I no go stress myself for people wey no go regard him at all even if he turn FCT to eldorado.
Wike wants to grab land and give his children, you are here capping dust.
The road he is constructing in Abuja, he is doing it with his father’s money abi? Is that not what he is paid to do?
That’s how you lots encourage rubbish.
Why must you worship Wike for doing what he is supposed to do?
We may even say, dem serve am the food of intimidation wey him sef dey serve others
But, regardless of our personal opinion The law is not emotional and will never be
Under the law, a military officer does not have the right to intervene in land dispute matters. Talkless of the stopping a Minister from inspecting a Land.
Under the Land Use Act, Land ownership belongs to the Governor of the State, of which Wike is equivalent to in the FCT.
Land disputes are civil cases and even the Police doesn't have the right to intervene, until there is a crime, like fighting
The basic responsibility of the Nigerian Military, is to defend Nigeria from external aggression.
Maintain the territorial integrity and secure the borders.
Suppress insurrection and act in aid of civil authorities to restore order (under specific conditions and Presidential directive only).
Any attempt by a military officer like what we saw today, to assert jurisdiction or forcibly intervene in a non-military land dispute is unlawful and an abuse of power.
That Military Officer and who ever sent them on that mission, needs to face punishment for acting outside their legal jurisdiction.
It is an insult to our democratic ruling, to have military officer sent to protects ordinary Land.
A civil case for that matter, o no
Ignorance of the law is no excuse The People's Parliament
Why are you weeping up and down on this thread as if you are a good person?
I know, so I will say this...I am not a tinubu supporter and wike is a awful minister of the fct with corruption all over him
But he is the minister of the fct. And if a soldier is disobeying a minister of the republic, and people are hailing him because tinubu, it shows that people who are in opposition are just as lawless as those in government.
Obey constituted authority
But then again we have a habit in this country of not following the rules and authority. Whether we support tinubu or not. See MC olumo
But the fact that we have a government of essentially bad people does not make yerima action right
Would those praising the lieutenant be doing so if it was an Obi appointee as fct minister? And would those critical of the lieutenant be praising him if obi was president?
We are so blinded by politics that we don't want to do the right thing.
Like I said, if you read this and think I support tinubu, think again. I would say this if it was obi as president or anyone else . If you like , support the lieutenant. Don't complain when you see a bad situation right. Like I always say, apc won't have been in charge if opposition was united.
As far as he is a moslem, he is in support of whatever the terrorists are doing , so long as it brings them closer to achieving their aim of islamizing Nigeria.
AMINDA: The current governor is simply striking "peace deals" in what he terms a non-kinetic approach with the bandits. It's nothing spectacular. It's a temporary solution. That was something Elrufai refused to do. If you claim Elrufai was the problem in Kaduna, are the governors of Benue, Plateau, Kwara, etc also the problem in their states? Or that is only reserved for Elrufai?
El Rufai is a terrorist.
I’m surprised you are absolving him of the atrocities during his time.
Wasn’t el rufai among those that imported terrorists to oust GEJ ?
RenewedHope001: Yes — believe it or not, there’s a real town in Norway called Hell. And no, it’s not as fiery as it sounds — in fact, it’s quite the opposite!
Located near the city of Trondheim, this small town of just over 1,500 residents is calm, scenic, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. But what truly grabs people’s attention is its name. When tourists arrive and see the “Welcome to Hell” sign, they can’t help but laugh and take pictures. It’s one of the most photographed road signs in Norway!
The name “Hell” actually comes from the Old Norse word “hellir,” which means “overhang” or “cliff cave.” So, the town’s name has nothing to do with fire or the underworld — it’s just a linguistic coincidence that sounds amusing in English.
Still, the town has fully embraced the attention. Its train station, officially labeled “Hell Station,” even has a storage house with a sign that reads “Gods Expedition.” In Norwegian, “gods” means “cargo” or “goods”, but English-speaking tourists can’t resist interpreting it as “God’s Expedition” — making it even funnier.
Every winter, Hell actually freezes over, because the temperature can drop well below zero. So when people joke about “when Hell freezes over,” Norwegians can proudly say, “It happens every year!”
Despite its ironic name, Hell is a peaceful, friendly village with picturesque homes, a small airport nearby, and locals who take pride in their unique identity. The annual Blues Festival in Hell, called Blues in Hell, attracts visitors from all over Europe, blending humor, culture, and good music.
So yes — Hell is a real place on Earth, and it’s not a place of punishment but rather a symbol of how names can twist meanings across languages. In Norway, Hell is cool — literally and figuratively!
And that town is better Than the finest places in this hell called Nigeria .

iichidodo: No need to ban sharia, just control and regulate sharia...One has to understand the position of Muslims in this conundrum..A position whereby you are used to taking over and persecuting christians at every turn, politically, religiously, and existentially. Only to find out that these persecuted people have the backing of Western Powers... And these SuperPowers are willing to deploy Battle field assets to achieve their aim of protection of Christianity in Sub Saharan Africa..As a Moslem, it’s a very disturbing and alarming scenario.
It should be banned. It’s an achaic , barbaric law.
Why would their useless sharia law be applied to kill Christians who don’t subscribe to it?
Nigeria is a secular state, and should remain so, otherwise, country should be devided.
P1PrinceKT: In the whole Christian States not Muslim States. You have no authority to dictate that on us. We can not trade Islam with one Nigeria. Let's the country be divided.
To stop these condemnable killings. Don't mean we should be too desperate to accept any solutions that may aggregate the situation.
It is accepting whatever solution that has gotten us here in the first place by putting someone in charge with nothing to offer because we just wanted to get rid of a problem.
And people are about to make same mistakes again. No one can love you more than you love yourself...
It's true we have an irresponsible government but whatever solutions we find to our problems should come from within and not from without.
We must sit down and decide on how to live in peace and unity between ourselves despite our differences. Until then the problems will still remain even if an outsider like Jesus Christ comes along to solve our immediate challenges.
There are decisions in life that no one forces you to make!
Hope you are referring to tilumpu here. If not…. THUNDER…..
mascot87: So much more killing should be activated and Southern Region that is in peace should also be turned to a battle field? Choose your evil wisely. The northern leaders knows how to resolve there problem because it is political. They just need the right leadership to stop the senseless killing. We have to be smart else the south should be ready for the influx of millions of northern refugees that will lead to the destabilising of the peaceful south. Are you ready for it?
See Yeye talk.
Fulani that is already moving south wards?
Has kwara not turned into a hotbed for terrorists?
Are they not attacking in edo, and the eastern states?
ElSudani: Many Nigerians actually believe this is about religion. If it was about religion the Americans would have been here since 2001. China is investing in rare earth minerals in Nigeria and Many other industries. The Americans are only interested in exploitation of our resources. God bless China for standing up for fair relationship between developed and developing countries like Nigeria.
Its about religion.
It has increased over time, and your useless government did nothing about it.
If it’s not about religion, why are they interested in establishing a Nigeria governed by sharia ?
What you should know that successive American governments are different.
Don’t say what you don’t know in a bid to sound smart.
adams123: Trump is just trying to cause division between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria...If he has power to handle the security situation in Nigeria, he should do that for humanity sake and not singling out christians as if the people killing are killing and kidnapping for Islam sake. I'm a Muslim, and I want the insecurity in all angles of our dear country be well handled by eliminating the bad eggs terrorizing the rest of us
They are doing if for Islam.
You didn’t Speak up before now , because you are a closet supporter.
It serves your desire to see a Nigeria governed by sharia with the Koran as the constitution.
