Bede2u: The informal sector is not unproductive. A farmer for instance is within the informal sector but some of his products may end up in UK, as a meal to a Nigerian family in UK and earns the country forex. A plumber helping me build my house is in the informal sector but I still send money in dollars when I want to pay him. Nigeria's economy is worth much more than Wikipedia shows bro
be writing rubbish there. You know pass Wikipedia abi?
Apc go use this one lie say he being 2 trillion dollar’s investment, meanwhile, he came to see how he can game the system since it is free for all with the criminals at the helm of affairs.
Nonexisting: Ladies Gentlemen and gentlemen, brace up for a new world order. I hope it's not of the devil though because whenever it looks too good, something in me always tell me to be more careful.
They are of the devil…. Demonic inspiration, witchcraft.
Your thinking towards that direction shows it is .
Gistmedia10: In a viral video, a young mother of twins is seen breaking down in tears, visibly overwhelmed by the pressures of motherhood. With her face tear-streaked, she expressed her frustration, saying, “They are still crying!” Her distress intensified as she explained that her partner was not at home, and her own mother, who had helped her initially, had left after staying for weeks. Now left alone to care for her newborn twins and an older child, the young mother admitted, “I’m too young for this.”
The background of the video echoed with the cries of her children, further reflecting her emotional and physical exhaustion. Many netizens shared their thoughts on her situation. One netizen asked, “She’s too young to be a mother? So, when is she going to be ripe to be a mother? See her mouth like Lasisi’s own!” Others, however, showed empathy, with one user writing, “Sorry, sis. The Lord is your strength.” Another added, “Tell your man no worry us abeg, problems of Nigeria alone the hold all of us for neck.”
The video has sparked discussions on the challenges young mothers face, with many sending messages of support and encouragement, hoping she finds the strength to persevere.
Veetee: These days I have been wondering how the dating pool has gone from bad to worse.
I would make this story brief. A friend of mine though married was trying to get a side chic for himself. He met a girl on instagram and they have been chatting for sometime. He shuttles between canada and nigeria, since his family lives abroad. We both had a man to man discussion where he talked about getting tired of doing runs girls that you would have to pay money to nack
The girl is a student of unical. So while he was in canada they both got talking, doing video call and the rest. Once in a while he sends her money, 250k, 100k from time to time.
Then he said he noticed something, the girl travelled to zanzibar in Tanzania on a pleasure and vacation trip. He said during that period she doesnt respond to calls and text messages. he was wondering how a student could afford such an experience trip out of the country. In my mind I was like these young yahoo boys must have sponsored such trips.
After he returned from canada to nigeria, back to his base in lagos. they got talking and he asked her to visit him in lagos from calabar
He sent her 320k for her flight ticket. she requested for some other money which he sent 100k.
Omo after she got the money she didnt book the ticket because according to her the network was bad and she doesnt want it to het stuck.
They started going back and forth of this booking issue. my friend got frustrated along the way , that was when i got to know about the story.
sometimes he would call she wont respond, claiming she is in class. At the end my friend asked her to return the money to his travel agent somehow she found that suggestion annoying. She angrily told him to send his own account so she can refund that she is no longer interested in seeing me.
My own conclusion in this story is if you are dating a beautiful girl in nigeria, you have a lot to do. The competition is very fierce.
These young yahoo boys at the moment have so much money to lavish on these ladies. If you are a young man doing legit hussle, my advice for you is just focus on your hustle.
how do you mean? I don’t understand? Girls wey full everywhere ? Yahoo boys can’t possibly carry all of them.
There are more than enough to go round . Na you go taya .
twosquare: Sorry, but the country was at the precipe of collapse. Also, saying doing CNG first before subsidy removal will take time and not be able to salvage the situation. And we know how Nigerians behave. Even now how many have embraced it with all kinds of non-provable theories.
Mumu … so the country has been prevented from collapsing by removing subsidy abi ?
How will you describe the state of the country at the moment?
I know you will say rubbish, because you Dey craze .
skydiver01: Why waste time on scenarios that are not going to happen? Nigeria has been one country for 110 years! Best to spend time on more meaningful thoughts/actions such as how to fix the economy and restore our materially reduced position as the Giant of Africa
why are you deceiving yourself?
This country can never be fixed.
Does it look to you like they are fixing anything ?
The owners have the country where they want it to be, it is deliberate.
It’s best for everyone to go their way.
This is not a political thread, but i just thought I should point it out to you.
lionshare: The FG must diversify its income sources due to expected declines in oil prices, driven by Trump's push for lower energy costs to curb inflation, which may boost U.S. oil production and create a global oversupply. Also, reduced global conflicts could stabilize inflation, benefiting emerging markets and attracting FPI & FDI to countries like Nigeria.
FDI how? Who wan come invest for this Una country?
