She seems to be happy with him. Is it unusual to find unmarried Naija men that old with no wife and kids? They both live here in the US.

well sense you are wanting to be nice you must still care about him. you should not lower yourself and go out on him or anything of that sort. ask him out for a lunch or other dry meeting place and just come out and tell him that you do not think your lifes are going the same direction and you think that it would be best if you ended the relationship. don't argue or start the blame game that only dirtys the memories you have of the person. if you try and end it by email, phone or other inpersonal way it will not finalize the relationship. also be true to yourself. don't carry on the thing just because you know it will hurt him/you to end it.

Great advice.

I think the best way to dump a relationship partner or a friend is to go up to them and tell them it isnt working out.Dont walk away after that tell him/her why you choose this route and recommed someelse to their liking . If you choose a rude remark or a rude way she/him may cause some seriousdamage to your reputationat school or around town .

I agree with everything else but the part about recommend someone else to their liking. You are breakiing up with them. I think the last thing they want to hear at this point is to listen to your "recommendations" of someone else.

@ Latoya. Ignoring him or her is not the right way, it's childish. We are grown up people and should talk. We just have to express ourselves and tell the partner what's we have on our minds and fee in our hearts. The other day I read about serving somebody a glass of water with toilet water, actually I liked that idea !
