No wonder you're ignorant of even the simplest of things.
IGNORANT SIMPLETON.

And there should be a law that makes it a crime.
What can I say to these words of "wisdom"? If you don't have tertiary education (I guess that's probably what you mean by "higher institution", you're an "ignorant simpleton". Pray, what percentage of Nigerian voters have a tertiary education? Even Bin Buhari doesn't have a tertiary education.

While I actually find it interesting that our janjawid friends shall resort to alienating the vast majority of would be voters with careless statements like these, I will leave you with some quotes.

Much talking is the cause of danger. Silence is the means of avoiding misfortune. The talkative parrot is shut up in a cage. Other birds, without speech, fly freely about.

He has worked as the Africa editor of Index on Censorship, a London-based organization devoted to freedom of expression, and as the editor of what was the Heinemann African Writers Series.
Don't mind the Colomental clowns. Because it's published in that socialist rag - NYTimes we should swallow it as divine revelations. Rather than get their ground game up and explain to the citizens what they would do better, Apeeshit is grasping at weak straws and using big words like "incompetence" which they clearly don't understand. Imagine calling an administration that reduced both the poverty rate and our import bill by 50% "incompetent".

I stil don't understand you. GMB has never been tried for corruption or mismanagement. When OBJ sought to look into the books of PTF, he found out that the books of PTF was audited every single year, while those of other government parastatals have never been audited for many years. He came out and proclaimed GMB to be the only incorruptible public office holder apart from himself(self appraisal). Abacha had NO business with PTF!!!!
Haba! AlHaji! Sofly, Sofly.

I know it's difficult to actually pretend to support an Animal in Human Skin but making up facts is unacceptable.

This is an analysis of the investigation commissioned by Objokes

http://thestreetjournal.org/2012/10/the-horrendous-ptf-fraud-how-n-25-billion-was-stolen-under-buharis-watch/

Attempts to complete the investigations were stymied by the convenient and mysterious death of the Afri-Projects Con (ironically named APC) head honcho who was the Sole consultant responsible for designing, executing, verifying and paying for all the PTF contracts.

Our Animal in Human Skin disclaimed knowledge of all operational issues and a large number of freshly minted multi-millionaires appeared from the Katsina axis. Bin Buhari waited a few months and started campaigning for " total Sharia" and has since found an expensive post retirement career as a perpetual presidential candidate.

everything is good about Islam. try and study the real Islam and u will c that Islam is different from the violence ppl are associating with it. its a matter of tym, the noise about Islam will soon be over when all the politics (local and international ) are free from the religion. 30 years back violence such as what we are experiencing now were absent. Libya , Afghanistan, Iraq , Syria, Nigeria, and those countries u think that is unstable because of Islam were peaceful nations, until the world powers ( corrupt world powers) see islam as a treat to there corrupt practices, they decided to basterdise the religion. Am very sure 30 years to come all these chaos will have be a thing of the past. Islam never supports and will never supports the killing of innocent lives. I pray Allah guides us all.
One interesting thing about MohamMad-ians is their refusal to self-criticize. Instead of looking at your terror manual, sorry I mean Quran and your Traditions (Hadiths) for clues regarding your affinity with violence you blame innocent bystanders. You blame "world powers" here, others blame Jews. In Arewa, you go the ridiculous extent of blaming GEJ, CAN and even southerners for your home grown, self inflicted BH nonsense.

Yet we don't even have to go very far in history to puncture your assertion here. Did Othman Dan Fodio's Jihad happen within the last 30 years? What is the difference between Dan Fodio's Jihad and the actions of Imam Shecow and his band of devout murderers?

His supporters will point out that Bin Buhari reduced inflation. They forget to mention that if you spend 2 days trying to extricate your N5 from the bank, you will be loathe to spend it on trifles especially when you have to join another even longer queue to buy any of the bare essentials like soap, milk, rice, cocoa powder, sugar or just about any everyday commodity.

Actually, if we are going to be honest we can only compare the scale of Ayotollah Bin Buhari's economic mismanagement with what the likes of Idi Amin were able to achieve in Uganda.

This thread is both hilarious and depressing. A poster told a bare faced lie - that Nigeria did not earn up to $1bn in 1977 - and got at least 13 likes for it. Having told the lie, people like e-gift sought to defend the brazen mendacity but ended up highlighting how innumerate they are.

The reason why it's depressing is that it illustrates the overwhelming power of dishonesty in Nigerian politics. Nigerians simply do not have the intellectual curiousity and the cognitive capacity to distinguish lies from the truth.
It actually makes you question the wisdom of universal suffrage in our increasingly complex times.

You are clearly ill-bred, sir.

Make your point without the insults, please.

I would be the last to make excuses for public officials guilty of wrongdoing. My posting history proves this.

I have taken a look at GAVI's report on its website. I have downloaded it for future reference. However, at no point (as far as I am aware) did the report point to Chukwu as being directly responsible for the theft of US$29 million. The report is clear that there was a fraud but the guilt of any single individual so far has not been established. However, as I said earlier, the ex-minister and the officials of the agency superintended by his ministry owe Nigerians an explanation, as a matter of public interest.

What Nigerians should demand for is a transparent public investigation with clear consequences for any official found guilty. Nothing less is acceptable. This is the minimum expected from the government of Goodluck Jonathan.

As for you the OP, only you can explain the motives for your sensationalist headline. What is strange is the inaction of the mods on this matter. undecided
It's the trademark of the Apeeshit insurgents to sensationalize (thereby trivializing corruption IMO). The GAVI report was very clear that $2.2 million was misappropriated and not the the entire $29 million. It was also clearly that career civil servants were responsible (although the Minister does have the responsibility to citizens to provide explanations). It was equally clear that the issues were systemic and were due to poor internal control ( something symptomatic about our entire public sector).

This hypocritical screaming about corruption was the trademark of the perfidious Usman Dan Fodio ( the patron saint of the Janjaweedian Apeeshit) who used similar hypocritical bleating about corruption to rile the talakawas and succeeded in stealing the Hausa States from their rightful princes installing his sons and relatives as "princes". Yet barely a few decades later, British colonialists reported the Caliphate as rotting with even greater corruption and with over half the population as slaves.

Nigeria's GDP was $83B in 1983, with all the so called civilian corruption. Two years after Buhari and his mad men took over, Nigeria's GDP dropped to $43B. In 1999 it was $36B, so, the saints from the Nigerian army starting frfom Osama bin Buhari, took our economy from a $83B in 1983 under NPN to $36B in 1999. After 15 years of PDP corruption rule, we are now $522B. I will remain with the PDP corruption rule.
Thanks a million for your insight.
