I thought the Arewa People's Congress, APC was in majority at the House of Reps. Any idea why they did not initiate impeachment proceedings huh
Perhaps because they are MORE corrupt and have committed MORE crimes angry
People like EGift and his alter ego Omenka operate on the cynical calculation that most of the denizens of these online boards are too young to remember what a disastrous monster Bin Buhari was. They also believe that most of the readers are too lazy to learn about social commentary regarding his era of misrule even from such renowned social commentators as Prof. Wole Soyinka and Fela! who weighed the slowpoke and concluded that he was just an "Animal in Craseman Skin"

The promoters of this extreme fascist don't care to enlighten their misguided supporters that apart from judicial murder and brutal suppression of the most commonplace civil liberties, Bin Buhari's dark era was the only time in Nigeria (not even during the civil war) when everyday commodities like sugar, rice, vegetable oil, soap and other bare essentials were rationed as a result of extreme scarcity brought about by the tyrant's primitive economic policies which included breaking into private warehouses and seizing goods from businessmen and finally simply confiscating billions of Naira from poor Nigerians through an incompetently engineered currency change.

The raw truth is that Imam Bin Buhari's only claim to fame is his fanatical support from the sharia belt earned through his open support for Sharia when other elite members of the Northern establishment were more circumspect in their support. That is his only electoral value and that is what smart people like BAT and Hell Ruffian are trying to exploit. Thankfully, it's is also his political albatross and will ensure that he will remain unelectable. These attempts to deodorize and beatify a washed up, fascist, failed dictator will always fail.

I know that he's not the sharpest tool in the box but insane..? Na you talk am oh.

PoliticsRe: Corruption Is Afraid Of Buhari by Curlieweed: 2:42pm On Oct 16, 2014
Corruption is afraid of Bin Buhari, indeed!

That's why he cleared our dearly departed maximum ruler, Abacha of every iota of corruption. He must be the Nano Silver of the Human Corruption Virus (HCV). Close contact with him is all that's needed to wash you clean of all corruption.

These Janjawids are clowns, I swear! The ignorance is scary.

BinMumuhari doesn't steal but anywhere he goes huge sums grow wings and vanish. It's either $2.8 Billion is getting missing at NNPC or 53 suitcases are spirited through iron clad airports or some other humongous sum of money is missing from PTF, all right under his oblivious, clean, corruption fighting nose.

No wonder, the Maestro, Fela Anikulakpo Kuti dubbed him "Animal in Craseman Skin".

tinkinjow:
There's no lie in this write up. 2015 will shame all APC apologists. Atiku came and is gone, Buhari came and was gone, ACF & NEF came and went, G7 came but took to their heels, Sanusi came but got disgraced, Ameachi and Nyako are today dejected men, even Obasanjo shouted but is left grumbling, Elrufai speak s today in hushed tones, Tambuwal has long retreated to his shell, Kwankwaso is now playing the victim....yet none entities are still hoping against hope.
How I wish you guys understand politics in Nigeria.
Nothing is wrong with dreaming, only that it sometimes may result in suicidal inclinations.
Never has so much noise being made about so small a man.

It speaks to the moral and mental bankruptcy of the Janjaweedian Apeeshit that they have to rest all their electoral hopes on a washed up, failed dictator whose pretentions of fighting corruption (actually his only qualifications to the highest office in the land) has been shown to be hollow by the humongous sums of money that gets missing everywhere he is in charge. $2.8 billion at NNPC, 53 suitcases as head of state and billions of Naira as PTF head honcho.

I can bet my last claro that even BinMumuhari himself knows that he has a snowball's chance in hell of being the president.

Don't even go there. What makes INEC independent? Is it jega? If jega resigns today, will it still be independent? There was a reason why jonaadaft set up the uwais panel for electoral reform and uwais did an excellent job. When it was time for jonaadaft to implement, the fool gave us jega and junked the rest.
Inec is no way independent. The neccessary reforms neccessary to ensure free and fair elections right from the lg levels to federal levels isn't just there.
Those reforms should be backed by an act of the NASS. Johny Boy is the head of the executive branch not the legislature. We need to understand these little distinctions. He did what he could as an executive, "appoint a competent executive". You need to put the pressure on your representatives to adopt Uwais' recommendations into law.

barcanista:
Ordinarily, one shd vote and go home but because of the perpetual fraud in the system by Mr. Jonathan and his party, the electorates are asked to vote, wait and tweet the results per polling unit. If Mr. Jonathan was a serious President, such extra stress will not be necessary.

Your attempt to score a cheap point for Mr. Jonathan is wharped and dead on arrival
Quit blowing smoke. Unless you were born in 2010, you know what elections were before then. I respect a little honesty.

By the way, WTF is "wharped"?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Politics 2015: GEJ Might Lose As An incumbent, And Here's Why - by Curlieweed: 6:03pm On Oct 09, 2014
barcanista:
It is so embarrassing that Mr. Jonathan will have the effrontery to be on the ballot and seek reelection in 2015, despite his acute failure, incompetency and gross cluelessness. Anyway, we shall disgrace him using the instrument of the ballot.

Vote Out Jonathan 2015

Vote In Muhammadu Buhari 2015
The fact that you apparently have reasons to believe that GEJ may lose the elections next year is yet another feather to Johny Boy's already brimming hat.

His efforts in designing an environment where elections are meaningful and where the "I" in INEC actually means independent is even more important than his already monumental economic and infractural achievements.

I am happy that the vast majority of Nigerians realize these unassailable achievements and recent polls indicate that a landslide victory is a forgone conclusion.

In what ways precisely is he doing so well? Roaches has so screwed up that Imo has slipped from a consistent first three in the education rankings to ninth position, well behind sister states like Anambra, Abia and even states like Rivers.

I believe that my statement was qualified with "some".

Regarding his alleged philanthropy (there are rumours about foreign charities), I don't like speculating but if he was so rich, why was he stealing from NAMA? Regardless, it's stupid to continue allowing a goat to keep watch over our yam barn.
PoliticsRe: I've Had A Change Of Heart With Rochas Okorocha by Curlieweed: 1:04pm On Oct 08, 2014
focus7:
if Okorocha is corrupt what should we say about Jonathan who for just 4years in power has amassed for himself $100m. Remember also that as you said, Okorocha was never a poor man before he became a governor and for the record this man has been spending his personal funds to affect the society before coming to power something that cannot be said of many politicians in Nigeria.
Regarding the highlighted, we have a good idea about how some of that money was made.

--
The head of the National Airport Management Authority (NAMA), Rochas Okorocha, was caught and dismissed for embezzling about $1 million through an inflated contract; Obasanjo then appointed him as a senior aide, without requiring Okorocha to repay the stolen funds. Okorocha was
eventually fired on July 13 in a cabinet reshuffle, but went on to start a political party for his renewed presidential ambitions.
This is the same criminal my brother is having a change of heart to.
PoliticsRe: Gov. Amaechi Must Be A Joker by Curlieweed: 6:58pm On Oct 07, 2014
ratiken:
Like I've said in the past, Amaechi has gone into political irrelevance. EvenAPC knows he cant deliver his state and has been placed on the sidelines while he continues to fund some of the party politics.

Who takes Amaechi seriously anymore? With the way he talks and spits with reckless abandon...... no party will build a structure around him. I used to hate on the guy's actions in the past but currently I actually feel pity for him. What will be left of him post 2015?
Regarding the highlighted, that monorail alone is a one way ticket to jail after 2015.

I expected a lot more from you than the pointless gratuitous insults. That doesn't improve your argument. Like they say, bad company corrupts good manners

I can't remember seeing the Osun polls you're talking about. Actually, none exists, at least from NOI. This is their website. http://noi-polls.com. They may be named after Ngozi but she hasn't been involved with the organization for over 6 years now (read up on them from Wikipedia). They also have a technical alliance with Gallup which should tell you something about their standards.

Actually, the NOI polls have been remarkably prescient as far as predicting elections in Nigeria. Their predictions about the Ekiti polls went against what I believed should be the case (given Fayose's antecedents) but again it proved very accurate.

I will advise Apeeshit strategists (it's doubtful they have any) to study these polls rather than living in denial.
PoliticsRe: You Can't Expect A Govt To Fix All The Roads In 8 Yrs - APC Chieftain,BARCANISTA by Curlieweed: 2:48pm On Oct 07, 2014
abdulwastecx:
economic policy is not a sole responsibility of federal government.

Lagos state government created policy yo encourage payment nof tax. instead or giving your pastors 10% of your revenue, you can give it to your governments to help it build the much needed infrastructure.

Nigeria federal government is clueless on how to increase her revenue because her officials are too lazy and ok with oil money. Nigeria revenue of about 40billion us dollars witg GDP of 525 billion us dollars is poorly taxed and shows signs of laziness from the officials
Collecting taxes more ruthlessly (possibly because BAT is getting a cut) isn't ECONOMIC POLICY.

I am not really here to give people a free education in political economy. I am also not really interested in your opinions but thanks for sharing all the same.

Bro,

This Apeeshit isn't helping your arguments. At all, at all! Anyway, bad market dey hard to sell.

Regarding your argument, even a primary school pupil knows that the FG is responsible for economic policy (hint: that's what NOI is doing there).

APC governors just milk this through overtaxation, which they waste on daft prestige projects like Rotimi's monorail (hopefully, the "mono" there is an indication that it's one way ticket to jail for him in 2015.

I can't decide if you guys are serious or just trying to be diversionary with this kind of statements. Is this simply a lack of understanding of the constitution (primary school civics)? When did the President become responsible for jailing criminals? What is the job of the judiciary and what is the place of separation of powers?

GEJ talked about institutional reforms but that flew right over their janjawid reactionary heads. I just tire for all this ignorance. I will just stick to the sexuality section.

NgeneUkwenu: I have been watching with keen interest on how all manners of natural occurrences(albeit Postivive ones), individual excellence, international assistance, normal routine works by different ministries are elaborated and celebrated by jonathan and jonathanians as achievement of the government.

They say he Brought Facebook, rainfall, football success, cured Ebola, made sure PDP lost some states, increased the price of crude oil, rang bell at New York exchange, prevented earthquake, and other flimsy and useless lines used to defend the regime by his sycophants recruits.

One of jonathanian took it to another level yesterday, when he claimed, he was now able to make love 5 times with his girl daily which was untenable during the time of Obasanjo undecided

How useless can a government be?
Regarding, the highlighted. I can attest to the same experience. My erektions have increased in strength by 54.7% since Johnny Boy became president. I can understand that the reverse may be the case for unbelievers AKA Janjaweedian Apeeshit supporters but no be our fault.
