Creamish:Abi oo, and she'll definitely become a "UK girl by sponsorship" lol Afterall what could beat eating from the fruits of your labour ![]() |
Dearie, he didnt say confusing thread, he said dumb thread ![]() Just thought i should be a good samarithan and point it out, i'll take my leave now ![]() |
In my next life, I pray, hope and believe God to make me Igbo again, the popularity we are honoured by, even the number 2 cannot divide it lol ![]() Igbos this, igbos that, tomorrow we'll hear that Igbos were thrown down from heaven by God, and thats why some of them have hunch-backs . . what won't i hear on nairaland!! Bring more stories jare, they brighten my face on a moody day . . i think we should ask seun to please create one section for igbo related matters, would make them easier to find, so i don't stay moody longer than necessary ![]() |
Black cord jeans Blue belt white, blue and pink singlet Blue and white zip cardigan black canvas a white and cerise ring and necklace, golden heart shaped moderately big pair of earings, extra pink diamond earings, golden nosering cerise lipgloss ![]() |
Dudes, he's talking about a movie, i watched it myself in school. Stop the beefering shio!! The question is or should i say title of the movie is "I ma na Jesus na-asu Igbo", which when translated would be "Do You Know That Jesus Speaks Igbo" . . not "Jesus Is Igbo" they're two different things And i'm sure the movie was just a commedy, nothing to get all hysterical and ballsitic over biko.Be factal before lashing your venom abeg . . its a movie, and i'm sure as hell our poster here didnt produce it, if you've got something to say, go tell the producers of the movie, whats all this? ![]() |
Whether you play hard to get or not, both tactics have a chance of failing . . everybody is different and attracted to different things. Now girlfriend, I'm not going to tell you what to do, its your cross to carry. I suggest you follow your spirit, do that which seems right to yourself, body and soul. If in the end, it wins you something, be glad; if not, then take it as an experience. Such cases isnt where you do something because Adobi said you should, or because Chidimna said you shouldnt, both could land you in same spot, or opposite . . and believe me, you'll regret it more if you did it out of 3rd party interference. Weigh the advices you get, but at the end of the day, do yourself . . .but one important point though; remember, too much of everything is bad, do not forget that. If he's been calling and stopped all of a sudden, i suggest you call him to know whats up, that doesnt make you cheap my dear, it doesnt. It takes more than returning calls, saying yes to a date or doing something to put a smile on the person's face to be termed cheap, you can play all the games there is to play, and still be seen as cheap Its you that matters, the way you do you is what tells if you're cheap or not . . everything with class dearie, with class!! ![]() |
Most places where they sell cosmetics have "testers" Thats when each colour of cosmetics (be it loose powder, lipgloss, lipstick, nail cutex, and the rest in the "cosmetical family" is sampled in front of its co ![]() You get to like apply a quantity on your skin, to see if it suits your skin colour. Places with more services, will give you a make-over for you to see what each of them looks like when fully applied. Now if the lady (the seller i mean) led you astray, then i guess you have some "customer right" to return the product and complain, and either demand for a change or refund. Nobody wakes up to know their skin colour, you got to try your way through, and when you finally hit it, its your secret to keep forever ![]() I don't use aything else other than coloured lip gloss, and i know i've had that same problem once or twice ![]() |
I can't believe what I'm seeing but i'm behind them 120% ![]() For my girl |
Interesting ![]() |
Yea, i can remember watching the movie sometime back - - - it was hillarious ![]() |
@ topic I kind of agree with aisha2 here . . yes, everything is possible, absolutely everything - - and no matter how small the chances are, they're there. So before your friend starts going ballistic, i suggest he be sure of the facts and possibities . . one step in the wrong direction and he'll forever regret it. What i suggest they do is go to a doctor's, and find out the day and date she took in (thats if she's pregnant, there are chances that she aint) ![]() A girl could loose mentration for more than 2 reasons, it could be stress, enviroment, state of mind . . list them (they're several in number), so her mentration might still show up, and if it turns out that she is pregnant, they should be sure of the circumstances that led to it. It might be his afterall ![]() |
chiogo:Love, it had absolutely nothing to do with you. I'll be damned to ever be uncool with you, its never gonna happen oo Ônye ajuju adighi efu uzo He who asks, will not miss his way lol |

Ugwô na-ama ebu, ô naghi ele ule A debt gets old, it never expires!! |
Ikomi:Eeeh judge , thanks for "loving" my signature. On the other note of moondust wining, i suggest you go buy some specs jare, its out of the question, he's not winning, not as long as my fingers are on this thread ![]() Ôdi be ndi, dili ha What belongs to others, should remain with them ![]() Ka ô rana ewetaghi onwe ya No matter how small, it didnt come out itself ![]() @ ikomi BTW, when next you come, bring some proverbs along with you jare ![]() |
moondust:I've always said that dreams are for free, if not why would you be dreaming this big? But dont mind me oo, dream on jare!! ![]() Aku agwughi na nti, nti adighi ezu ike ![]() If the mouth doesn't run empty of palm-kernels, it doesnt stop chewing ![]() |
@topic Eeeeya, Well i got sad news, and it goes thus: There's very little or nothing you can do about it, sorry!! Your friend i'm sure aint a kid, neither is he blined . . he put himself in the place where he is, so he alone got to deal with it. Why is she the money provider in the house?? Is he in any way deformed or incapable to go out there and fight for cash?? Well, to cut a long story short, he's loving every bit of the treat, and who are you to say whether its a good thing or not?? If he thinks he's being enslaved, then he should do something about it, stand to his feet, cut her out of his life if she isnt what he wants, and be a man . . .till then , I advice you stay 10 pOles away. You'll only cause more damage/harm than good, which might cost you your friendship, now i'm sure you don't want that, or do you?? |
I can't believe God loves me so much |
What kind of a rubbish story did you bring with you all the way to nairaland? ![]() One is 3 months pregnant and the other just had an abortion?? and after screwing two ladies hands down, you expect us to run to your rescue?? Leading two women on, emotionally deluding them into believing each was your one and only, toiling with their beings by having unprotected sex with each, destroying their lives indirectly by getting them pregnant, and jerpardising their health by having unprotected sex . . The truth?? You deserve none of them ![]() Advice you say?? Well i gat none for you . . until you realise your mistakes, come out clean and ask for sincere forgiveness, acknowlegde that you'll do no such thing in future, i have no advice for you ![]() My wish?? that if you don't turn a new and better leaf soonest, that you get everything coming your way, you do remember that "what goes around, comes around", donæt you now?? ![]() |
@ Everbright Dearie, plaese be so kind to include "translation in english" - - we have some non-igbos who will be more than pleased to be intriged by the depth of our wisdom in proverbs ![]() Ekelee/Etoo dike na nke ô mere, ô mekwa ôzô If you praise a hero on a jobb well done, he repeats the good deed(s) ![]() |
chiogo:Sorry to say this Lil sis, you know i love you to pieces but I'm going to whoop your ass, but take some of these first Oya, bring it on ![]() Okwu lue n'ego, ôgbenye eselu onu ya ![]() When a matter gets moneywise, the poor withdraws himself/his mouth ![]() |
Omo Eko:No, please postpone it . . I'm at work and will go into a busy trance in a jiffy. I'll be home 15.00pm which would be like 09.00am your time, after that we could talk, ok?? Missed you yesterday, tried staying up to catch up with you, but had to go to bed due to my early shift today ![]() |
@ topic After two more weeks repeat the procedure of home kits - - by then it should be almost fault-free. But if you still gat worries after that, visit a clinic and get them to take a more professionl one, I'm sure that'll be more of an assurance on whether you are or not. No tests are 100% accurate but at least 95% should do!! ![]() |
@ topic I absolutely agree with uchetobi. Some circumstances come into play . . but it takes two to tango - - both parties got to want the friendship, or else it isnt one. Atimes its easier said than done, if the break up was mutual, or friendly, then there are big chances of a great friendship, buit if it was a heavy one, one person isnt able to get over the hurt or both parties despise each other, then no, i don't think so. Some end up being best of friends, some become casual "hello" freinds, but unfortunately some end up worst enemies!! Its got everything to do with the individuals involved, circumstances around the break and mutual will for a friendship. |
Omo Eko:How she didnt call, how i miss her but she's always on ma mind |
The battle line is drawn ooh, Am i really the winner or what ![]() Ihe agulu ônu gwuru agwu What is counted, is as well as finished E ji m mma eme gini bu ka m di njô na-aga Beauty isn't all that you say? does that mean you want to be ugly?? ![]() |
moondust:I'm fine dear, doing good . . you? ![]() |
Well no, we might not approve of your methods, but thats in a human's nature and why crying over spilled milk, right?? Its a Lil bit too late for that now. What you got to base on is what the mails were about . . people make friends from all over the world, that doesn't have to mean there are motives behind them - - where they love letters?? If yes, what were her replies in her sent mssgs?? If she's keeping her distance and just being friendly, the you might want to give her a benefit of the doubt and do away with the evil assumpions , iF the mails she sent him arent just on the casual or mere freindship grounds, then its time for you to act. The Igbos say that "what you don't know, won't kill you", but you already do (know about it), so you got to act on it. Copy them out if you have to and look into her eyes and ask her questions, you got to look out for yourself, no one else will, you got to fight your battles. If she's having feelings for this guy or just seeing him as as her ticket across the boarder, then you shouldnt have to pay with your heart. You have to make hay while the sun shines, make her tell you the truth and know whether to stay or walk, but that's about the only thing we (Nairalanders) can help you with . . we didnt read the mails, neither are we prophets to prophetize what she's about to do Before anything, pieces have to come together, so go do your assignment hun, I wish you all luck!! ![]() |
ogbdcm:Hei there BTW sorry to hear about your downs, but don't worry, before you know it, you'll be at the top of your game again . . God dey ![]() Everything will be just fine, just dont loose hope, you'll see ![]() The Lord is your shephered and you shall not want, it all seems clouded and impossible now, but remember he makes a way, where there seems to be no way - you just got to trust him, he will not let you down!! @ omo Seems i'll be going to bed now, take care |
