A mother has been arrested on suspicion of murder after she allegedly dropped her screaming daughter off a balcony and the girl died.

Anna Ruzankina, 23, dangled her three-year-old daughter Anastasia off the balcony as a punishment for crying, say police in Russia.
In the harrowing video, Anastasia was heard begging her mother as she was dangled over the balcony.

The girl cried: “Mama, I am scared. I am scared, scared, scared…..I am scared.”

Shortly after, she fell 60ft to her death.
The footage captures the final moment of her fall before she hits the ground.


Ruzankina then retrieved the dead girl and CCTV footage then captures her holding her in the lift as she took her body back up to the family’s sixth-floor flat in Saratov, reports Life News. She shakes the lifeless child as if trying to revive her.

Multi-award winning singer and DMW records boss, Davido has now reacted to a viral video of a Pastor narrating a vision of him being poisoned by someone sleeping in his house.

The Pastor who said he’s been praying to God for the vision to be averted, also said that he doesn’t know the singer and has never met him.

The cleric was heard in the video saying;



“I told you about one singer called Davido, abi? They will poison him. I don’t know him and I haven’t seen him in my life. But they will put something in his drink. He will be rushed to hospital, he will be admitted, he will be conscious.

Faith Odunsi is a 15-year-old Nigerian student who placed the nation yet again on the international radar by defeating contestants from around the world. She is currently an SS 3 student of The Ambassadors College and emerged as the overall best in the recently concluded “Global Open Mathematics Tournament” beating her last-standing opponent, Nicholas Lee from Indonesia with a wide margin of 30 points.


The competition had participants from the UK, the US, Asia, Australia, and Africa. In an exclusive interview with our correspondent, Faith Odunsi took us through what it was like before and after the competition.

What is your philosophy on Mathematics?

Mathematics, I believe is the fundamental backbone of the universe. It is a necessary part of human life and one needs to have a level of understanding to be successful.

Do you practice Mathematics every day? How often?



I practice as often as I possibly can but not every day since I have other subjects to deal with.


You recently competed with students from around the world in the “Global Open Tournament” and emerged as the overall winner with a whopping 30 points between you and the first runner up, at what point did you know you were going to win?

This was towards the end of the final round of the competition when my opponent, Nicholas Lee from Indonesia had just 10 points and I had more points than he could possibly cover up.

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a female lecturer with the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Mrs. Lateefat Abimbola, a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Toyinbo Olayinka, and two others.

It was gathered that Olayinka, a 400-level student of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management was abducted on Saturday, May 22, from a farm, while Mrs. Abimbola, a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, was kidnapped on Thursday, at a junction next to her home in Ijebu-Ode.

The undergraduate was reportedly abducted along with the owner of the private farm, identified as Dominic, and a 17-year-old Togolese lady.
The Head, Directorate of Public Relations of FUNAAB, Kola Adepoju, who confirmed the incident in a statement, said Olayinka had been living and working as a practicing livestock farmer on the farm for the past three years to sustain himself.

“According to the friend of the abducted student and a nursing mother, who witnessed his abduction, he was kidnapped by gunmen at a private Farm in Abule Itoko, a village in Odeda Local Government where he had been working and living for the past three years,” Adepoju stated.
